I highly recommend Chinese tourists book an English-language tour. If your English isn't great, you can use a translation app like Doubao (a Chinese translation platform). It's truly a great deal; the driver/guide is incredibly professional, dedicated, and friendly. They talk non-stop throughout the journey, covering everything from local history, culture, and villages to what to eat, what music to listen to, and even various British jokes—it's all very entertaining. It's not just about telling you "meet at what time" at each attraction; they genuinely let you know what you've seen and experienced. Everyone tipped after we got off the bus.★
