Our driver was very polite and communicated well through translator apps. His driving was smooth, making the long drive easy and he accommodated an earlier start so we could catch our train. He even gave us some juju fruit, a local snack, when we got out of the temple area.

A minibus was arranged to pick us up from the hotel in the morning to transfer to the main bus. The tour guide was excellent, responsible, and very caring towards the group members. We were also very satisfied with the arrangements. The overall trip was long but not too tiring. Highly recommended! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I was the only foreigner, but the guide took great care of me. The day before, they sent me a WeChat message with the meeting point near my hotel. It would have been a hassle to go to the Shaolin Temple alone, but I think it was a worthwhile choice.

Wow, the Longmen grotto especially is both everything and nothing like I expected! I appreciated the tour guide at both the Shaolin temple and the grotto telling stories and giving explanations for the things we were looking at. Both places were extremely, extremely busy, but I managed to see everything I wanted to!

It was an amazing experience. They didn't give a simple lesson for tourists, but taught the basics thoroughly, so I was drenched in sweat and my legs were aching after two hours, but I definitely want to do it again!!
