We were so lucky to have met Luke, a very professional guide! His decades-long background in nature research allowed him to seize every opportunity to educate us about the plants and animals we encountered during our rainforest trek. The overall itinerary for the day trip was perfect – a good amount of exercise without being tiring, and the timing of each activity was well-planned. It was a very enjoyable experience!

Driver arrived on time for pick up and drop off. Going up the skyrail take in the breathtaking views of the dense forestation is quite an experience. Kuranda is a small village with shopping along the stores.railway station is just a stone throw from the village. Overall quite a good day trip.

That 45-minute tour is truly amazing! You get to see the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest in just one flight. If you are trying to decide between a helicopter and a hot air balloon, I would suggest going with the helicopter tour.

The best experience, my kids lived green island, the snorkel gear was good, felt safe in the water, saw all of the fish, turtles, sharks, rays. Great transfer boat, the free coffee was welcomed in the morning, we got ice cream on the return which was a good price too. Ate on the island, good range of options.
