Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park

A big thumbs up to Uncle Big Head on WeChat on February 24th! He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. All three attractions are traditional and representative, rich in local culture and history. Uncle Big Head deserves high praise for his itinerary planning.
Reviews: [Cherry Blossom Season] One-Day Tour of Ancient Temples in Kyoto, Japan + Nara Park with Adorable Deer + Fushimi Inari Shrine
Guest User2026-04-26
I've been to Kyoto a few times, but this time I went with my girlfriend. However, traveling by subway was more tiring than I expected, so there were many places I missed. But this time, I decided to just go on a bus tour and signed up. We visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple (a place always worth visiting), Fujii Inari Shrine (I passed by right in front of it last time because it was too crowded), and Nara Park (the deer? They were just okay). Our guide this time was Mr. Ku Mun-gil, and it was great to learn unexpected facts and history. He also recommended restaurants and convenience store drinks, which we are currently enjoying immensely. I highly recommend the bus tour; it was a truly comfortable trip.
Reviews: Kyoto + Nara Encounter Cute Deer Classic Panoramic one-day tour[Upgradeable to 9-person Small Group Hotel Pickup]

I was worried because I was going on a solo tour. However, Guide Oh Seok-bong shared so many interesting and diverse stories about Japan that I wasn't bored at all during the bus ride. It was also great that whenever we mentioned what kind of food we wanted to eat, he recommended restaurants he knew and even helped with reservations. I would love to go again with my family next time.
Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Funaya 1-Day Tour: Optional Amanohashidate Chairlift and Monorail + Ine Bay Cruise
Guest User2026-04-23
A long journey, but absolutely worth it. The views from the top were spectacular, and the chairlift ride added a fun touch. Exploring Amanohashidate itself was a highlight—I rented a bike from a local shop, and it easily beat walking. I managed to ride almost to the end of the island, which made the experience even better. The boat ride was another memorable part, especially feeding the hawks and gulls along the way. Our guide, Jay, was engaging and genuinely fun, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. Really appreciate all the help—thank you!
Reviews: Amanohashidate Sandbar & Ine Funaya Village Tour with Optional Sea Cruise

🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate 1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar → Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea. → Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side! 2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach" → Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing. → Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind. 3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets → Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800). → Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!
