Reviews: Kyoto Kifune Shrine, Arashiyama, and Sanzen-in Temples: A 9-person Small Group Tour to Enjoy the Cool Summer and Autumn Leaves
Guest User2026-02-07
On February 6th, we visited Sanzen-in Temple, Kibune, and Arashiyama. Our tour guide was Jiang Jun (Fukuda Hiroichi), and I would give him a five-star rating! The bus was a small, clean vehicle, although the seating was quite small. But that's typical for Japanese buses, so there's not much to do about it. The departure and return times for the attractions were well-managed. The driver was very attentive and responsible in answering our questions, and driving felt very safe. Since the passengers were all quite quiet and reserved, the bus was relatively quiet with little guided tour, which I believe is understandable, as he needed to concentrate on driving. Therefore, the lack of detailed explanations of the attractions was acceptable. One thing to note is that the driver showed me the seats for the Arashiyama sightseeing train, but when we arrived, we found that the cable car was closed in winter. Please be aware of this when you go!

Today was a wonderful trip with Amy! She was more than just a tour guide—she shared fascinating stories and insightful travel tips, recommended amazing restaurants, and even acted as our personal photographer on the bus. Her energy and professionalism made the experience truly special. I highly recommend her to my friends when they visit!

The trip to Kyoto was amazing! The Daruma dolls covering the mountain at Katsuo-ji Temple were so cute, the stroll through Arashiyama was incredibly romantic, and the shimmering gold of Kinkaku-ji Temple was breathtaking! The itinerary was perfectly planned, and we had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was also fantastic—professional, funny, and with engaging explanations. She was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive to everyone. I have to give a thumbs up to the tour guide and the itinerary!
Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Kyoto Arashiyama + Fushimi Inari Taisha + Nara Park 1-Day Tour

I was very satisfied with the itinerary. It was a pity that due to the New Year holiday peak, we couldn't visit Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, but we were still able to explore Nara in depth. In addition, the tour guide was very attentive and enthusiastic, and his explanations made me feel very comfortable.

The tour guide was professional and considerate, providing engaging commentary throughout and even helping us avoid peak tourist seasons. The itinerary was well-planned, with ample time spent at each attraction. Arashiyama was picturesque, with tranquil bamboo paths and shimmering blue waters beneath Togetsukyo Bridge; every snapshot was postcard-perfect, so therapeutic! `(*∩_∩*)′

We had a wonderful day exploring Sanzen-in, the Sagano Bamboo Forest, and Togetsukyo Bridge, and we are very grateful to have had Kang Fu, Jun Kai as both our bus driver and tour guide. Kang Fu, Jun Kai was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire journey. His driving was smooth and safe, which made the trip very comfortable and relaxing. At the same time, he shared helpful information and interesting insights about the places we visited, which made the experience much more meaningful. Sanzen-in was peaceful and beautiful, the Sagano Bamboo Forest was truly breathtaking, and the view from Togetsukyo Bridge was stunning. Jun Kai managed the schedule very well, giving us enough time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed. What stood out most was his patience and warm attitude. He made everyone feel welcome and ensured that the entire trip ran smoothly.
