Things to do in Zunyi

The area boasts beautiful mountains and clear waters, making it more suitable for summer visits. There are many activities available, but most are summer-oriented; it gets a bit cold in winter, and there are fewer people. The scenery is excellent, especially the spectacular and unique Water Heavenly Gate. The staff are very friendly, but public transportation is inconvenient. The only option is to take a rideshare to downtown Zunyi.

Before visiting Hongguoshu Waterfall, I learned about this scenic area online and thought it was just a niche attraction. However, I didn't expect to find so many amazing places here. The cave scenery is breathtaking, the aerial rafting is thrilling and exciting, and there is even a free cave hot pot. The waterfall scenery is also very grand. It was a great experience.

The Chishui Danxia Waterfall scenic area is not large, and taking the elevator up and down is not worthwhile; it's perfectly fine to explore on foot. The scenery at Yanziyan (Swallow Rock) is quite beautiful, and there aren't many tourists, making it worth a visit.

There are two major attractions in the tourist area of ​​Maotai Liquor Town in Renhuai, Zunyi City. One is the Red Army's Four Crossings of the Chishui River Cultural Scenic Area, and the other is the Chinese Maotai Liquor Cultural Scenic Area, including various wineries and Maotai liquor production culture. You can also taste and buy some Maotai liquor.

Nestled along the winding Chishui River lies Tucheng, an ancient town built against the mountains and beside the water. The rushing Chishui River tells the story of Tucheng's long and rich history. This thousand-year-old town boasts numerous cultural relics and historical sites, a long history, and a profound culture. Since ancient times, it has been the political, economic, and cultural center of the middle reaches of the Chishui River.

Scenic spot features: Qingxi Gorge Scenic Area is famous for its unique karst landforms and beautiful natural scenery. The lake is as green as emerald, and the surrounding mountains are like picturesque scenery. It has a subtropical humid climate, with an average temperature of 11.5 to 17.5 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The forest coverage rate is over 80%, making it a natural oxygen bar. Main attractions: Qingxi Gorge Cruise: Tourists can take a cruise to enjoy the lake and mountains. The main channel is about 28 kilometers long, with natural landscapes such as cliffs and waterfalls along the way. Qingxi River Rafting: Known as "the most beautiful rafting in China", the whole journey is 7.8 kilometers, with 32 dangerous rapids, suitable for tourists who like adventure.

This is a forest park with bamboo as the main vegetation. The bamboo forest here is dense and green, a good place to escape the summer heat and relax. Walking on the path in the bamboo forest, breathing the fresh air, listening to the rustling sound of bamboo leaves, it feels like being in a quiet paradise.
