Site of the Zunyi Meeting
Located on Ziyin Road in Zunyi's old town, this site is a nationally protected cultural relic featuring a unique architectural style that blends Chinese and Western elements, typical of northern Guizhou residences. In 1935, the historic Zunyi Conference was held here, which established Mao Zedong's leadership and marked a pivotal turning point in the history of the Chinese revolution. The museum displays precious documents, photographs, and artifacts, recreating the conference scene and offering an immersive experience of the profound and monumental history of the red revolution.
Concentration Camp Site of Xifeng
Located in Yanglangba, Xifeng County, Zunyi, this was an important Kuomintang prison during the Anti-Japanese War, collectively known as the "Three Major Prisons of Southwest China" along with Baigongguan and Zhazidong. The site preserves prison cells, interrogation rooms, and other structures, documenting the heroic struggles of revolutionary martyrs. As a red patriotic education base, visiting here allows one to commemorate the fallen heroes and reflect on the noble spirit displayed during those turbulent years.
