Then drive for 1 hour to the renowned Terracotta Army. Your guide will take you on a tour of three pits, where life-sized clay soldiers are made over two thousand years ago, each with unique facial details. Understand how it is built, discovered, and maintained. You will also learn about the historical achievements of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.

In the afternoon, go back to the Xian downtown area to the Great Mosque, one of the oldest and largest Islamic mosques in China, with a mixed architectural style of Muslim and Chinese traditions.

Continue your tour to the Muslim Quarter. You can taste a variety of local snacks in Xi'an, such as the famous Biangbiang noodles, barbecue skewers and Mutton and Bread Pieces in Soup (at your own expense).
