▲ [Longteng Broken Bridge] Longteng Broken Bridge, also known as Yutengping Broken Bridge or Glutinous Rice Bridge, is located between Tai'an and Shengxing train stations on the mountain railway. The approximately 200-foot-long bridge spans the Yutengping Creek. Like Shengxing Station in Sanyi Township, Miaoli County, it was built during the Japanese colonial era. The bridge is constructed of glutinous rice bricks, each layer featuring varying widths and marked with markings. The bridge deck is 50 meters above the ground, making it the highest bridge on the mountain railway. Due to the 1935 Guandaoshan earthquake, only the piers remain for visitors to admire. While the original appearance of the Longteng Broken Bridge is no longer visible, the remaining piers possess a unique charm, contributing to the bridge's unique character.

▲ [Shengxing Station] Shengxing Railway Station, located in Sanyi, Miaoli, was built in 1906 and has a history of more than 100 years. It was the highest railway station in the western railway at that time. There are many facilities in the station from the Japanese colonial era, such as the "electric station sign" used as a train pass between Tai'an and the railway. It has now been replaced by a central control system, and this set of equipment has gradually become history. There is a monument on the platform of Shengxing Station, with an elevation of 402.326 meters. It is the most steep and natural landscape section of the Western Longitudinal Railway. It was a wooden station built during the Japanese occupation period. The tiger tooth design is said to have the function of praying for blessings. The scenery along the way is beautiful and has the beauty of the Hakka mountain city. After Shengxing Station stopped operating in 1998, the old mountain line also came to a perfect end.

▲ [Zhuoye Cottage Indigo Dyeing Experience] The old proverb "The blue comes from the blue" that we are all familiar with comes from Xunzi. After witnessing the dyer dyeing the green "indigo grass" into a more outstanding blue color, he sighed "The blue comes from the indigo, but the blue is bluer than the indigo" because of this incredible transformation process and the dyeing result.

▲ Zhuoye Indigo Dyeing is located in the hills of Miaoli, Taiwan. It gradually integrates the cultivation of indigo grass, the production of indigo dye, the cultivation of indigo dye vats and the indigo dyeing process into its work. In 2014, in order to make Taiwan's indigo dyeing more well-known, the brand "Zhuoye Indigo Dyeing" was established to provide high-quality indigo dyeing products, and cooperate with craftsmen and designers from different industries to create indigo dyeing items that are not only close to life and practical, but also rich in aesthetic and fashion elements.
