The "Blue Cave" is synonymous with diving in Okinawa, a world-famous blue cavern. Located in Onna, Okinawa, Japan, this limestone cliff features a sea cave formed by coastal erosion. When sunlight enters the cave, it reflects off the white sandy seabed, creating a mesmerizing blue glow. Summer is the peak season, so advance booking is recommended.

Shore entry
· Led by an instructor, you'll slowly enter the water from the shore (each instructor can lead a maximum of 8 participants for snorkeling, and a maximum of 2 participants for scuba diving). Relax and swim slowly into the water without worrying about seasickness.
· Practice in water shallow enough to stand in, making it easy for first-time snorkelers to participate.

How it works
① Meet-up
Free parking is available for self-driving travelers, and the meeting point is only a 5-minute drive from the entry point.
② Fill out the disclaimer, change clothes
For safety reasons, all participants must wear wetsuits. Diving equipment is available in a wide range of sizes, from children's to adult sizes. The store also has free coin-operated lockers, so you can start your trip with ease!
③ Depart for the Blue Cave entry point
Reachable by a 5-minute free shuttle ride.
4. Arrive at the entry point for safety briefing and instruction
Before entering the water, the diving guide will explain safety precautions and equipment usage. Children, non-swimmers, and those with no diving experience can all enjoy the experience with peace of mind. You will need to walk down a long staircase to enter the water; please keep to the right, and be careful as the stairs may be slippery."
⑤ Head to the Blue Cave
The instructor will guide everyone to swim to the Blue Cave. The swim to the Blue Cave takes about 10 minutes, during which you can enjoy the rich marine ecosystem!
⑥ Arrive at Blue Cave
Guided by the instructor into the dimly lit cave, turning back to look at the entrance reveals a mesmerizing blue glow resembling fluorescent sapphires! The dreamy blue light reflects on the water's surface while fish swim beneath, creating such a magical sight that it eases any fear of the ocean.
Return to the starting point at the shop to disband
The venue is equipped with warm water showers, changing rooms, and a vanity area (with hair dryers). You can simply shower and change after returning to the venue.
