Our tour guide, Xiaopeng, was professional, responsible, meticulous, and thoughtful. He possessed extensive professional knowledge and was extremely dedicated to his work, adding much color to our trip. Throughout the journey, he patiently and meticulously explained the historical background and cultural significance of each attraction, giving us a deeper understanding of the places we visited. Panda Valley and Dujiangyan are two treasure troves where you can escape the crowds and enjoy the natural environment. Panda Valley offers close encounters with pandas and boasts a beautiful and refreshing natural setting; Dujiangyan is magnificent and spectacular, with a rich variety of delicious food in its ancient town. The entire trip was very comfortable. Our driver, Jiang Wensong, was friendly, enthusiastic, and patient, driving smoothly and safely. He recommended delicious restaurants and a time-saving and energy-efficient route. The guide in Dujiangyan provided humorous and engaging explanations that also helped us understand the water conservancy project.

The driver was very steady and provided excellent service, proactively closing the doors when we got in and out. He introduced local customs and attractions along the way and reminded us of important travel tips. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the driver sent us his location in advance to make it easy for us to find the car. He also contacted us beforehand for the return trip and was very punctual. Overall, a fantastic experience! Jiuzhaigou is beautiful; every photo you take is stunning.

Sanxingdui is incredibly popular; the crowds were immense. Without a guide, I doubt I could have lasted three hours. Teacher Liu led us through the throngs, introducing each important artifact one by one. From the details of the artifacts to the excavation process, from the manufacturing techniques to the underlying cultural concepts and information about cultural exchange, he explained everything in detail – it was truly eye-opening! His explanations were insightful yet easy to understand, giving the artifacts various nicknames, making them anything but boring. At the same time, he was incredibly knowledgeable, citing original texts and different academic perspectives with ease, even incorporating the latest academic developments from June 2025 into his explanations. He constantly refined his presentation, keeping things up-to-date – I'm so curious how he does it! I took notes the whole way, but the sheer volume of information meant my notes weren't complete; I'll have to find more relevant materials to supplement them later!


