Before Booking You Need To Know:

2.If you haven't booked the ticket yet, we can offer you a ticket booking service. You can directly provide our staff with the relevant certificates and identity information, and pay the fee for the volunteer experience program, which is RMB 800 per person.

Friendly reminder (Important !!!) :

1. According to the regulations of the scenic area, volunteers participating in the panda program are not allowed to touch or feed the pandas. If you are hoping to hug a panda or have close contact with them, this activity may not meet your expectations.

2. Although this is a private tour, once we enter the scenic area, you will join other tourists and participate in the activities with a guide provided by the scenic area.

3. Application conditions: Age 8-70 years old, healthy, no infectious diseases.

4. Half-day panda volunteer experience usually starts between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. (it may start earlier in summer). The activity typically concludes around 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., and you will generally be returned to your hotel in downtown Chengdu at around 3:00 p.m.

5. Our itinerary is designed to align with the pandas' daily routines, so during summer time, we recommend an earlier departure to make the most of the experience.

6. Due to the special nature of the panda volunteer activity, after receiving your order, our supplier will contact you to reconfirm the details of the activity. We will only confirm your order and proceed with the itinerary arrangements after obtaining your consent.

In the morning, our professional driver will pick you up in a comfortable private car from your hotel in central Chengdu and take you to one of the Dujiangyan panda bases.

Upon arrival at the panda base, you will join other tourists and follow the on-site guide to begin your activity. With their extensive knowledge and lively explanations, they will guide you in observing the adorable giant pandas (please note that touching, petting, or hugging the pandas is not allowed) and learning about them.

After the tour, our private driver will escort you back to your hotel in Chengdu, bringing this unforgettable panda adventure to a perfect end.

Activity content:

① Preparing food for giant pandas, such as breaking bamboo, cleaning or peeling bamboo shoots, observing the feeders feeding giant pandas; recognizing and analyzing giant pandas' green ("qingtuan").

② Visiting giant pandas of different ages in the park, with on-site explanations of the meanings behind their various behaviors.

③ Lunch and rest time.

④ Watching documentaries on giant panda research and field rescue, understanding the current status of giant pandas from a scientific perspective.

⑤ Preparing fine food for giant pandas in rehabilitation, such as cutting bamboo leaves, to gain an in-depth understanding of the late-life care of giant pandas.

⑥ Making coarse grain wowotou (wowotou, a traditional Chinese steamed bun) for giant pandas and learning about their feeding habits.

⑦ Issuing certificates and souvenirs, ending the event.

After the above activities, you will be picked up and returned to the hotel.
