Panda Valley and Dujiangyan are two treasure troves where you can escape the crowds and enjoy the natural environment. Panda Valley offers close encounters with pandas and boasts a beautiful and refreshing natural setting; Dujiangyan is magnificent and spectacular, with a rich variety of delicious food in its ancient town. The entire trip was very comfortable. Our driver, Jiang Wensong, was friendly, enthusiastic, and patient, driving smoothly and safely. He recommended delicious restaurants and a time-saving and energy-efficient route. The guide in Dujiangyan provided humorous and engaging explanations that also helped us understand the water conservancy project.★

I was extremely satisfied with driver Xiao Cui on this trip to Dujiangyan! He was warm, honest, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. His driving skills were smooth and safe, and the car was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable ride. He was very familiar with the roads in and around Dujiangyan, and his itinerary was well-planned, avoiding detours and wasting time, making the entire trip worry-free and reassuring. Along the way, he patiently introduced local attractions and offered practical travel tips, answering all my questions—he was very reliable. He proactively helped with my luggage, and his attitude was gentle and polite. Overall, his service far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Dujiangyan. Choosing driver Xiao Cui will definitely give you peace of mind, comfort, and confidence. I will definitely choose him again next time! If I could rate him, I would give him 100 points. The guided tour was well-organized and highlighted key points, making it both interesting and informative. The service was warm and attentive throughout, with a patient and friendly attitude, timely reminders of important information, and consideration for everyone's pace. Under the guide's guidance, we not only admired the magnificent water conservancy projects but also learned a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge. The entire trip was fulfilling and enjoyable, a very satisfying guided tour experience. The organization was impeccable, with a perfectly paced itinerary that comfortably covered all advertised sites at both Qingcheng Mountain (青城山) and the Dujiangyan (都江堰), beginning with a perfectly timely hotel pickup. The guide system was particularly effective; we had a dedicated English-speaking guide whose passion and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. She didn't just show us ancient sites - she connected the ingenious principles of the 2,000-year-old irrigation system directly to its vital role in Sichuan today, which was fascinating. A crucial piece of advice: ensure you have WeChat installed. Our guide used a chat to align the hotel pickup and share route details. An absolutely first-class, educational, and enjoyable day.★

It was a unique experience! The guide tour was very nice and had patience with me because I do not speak Chinese. He provided me good info (meeting points, times, etc) The pandas were very active in the morning, the opera was really cool, and the blue lights in the afternoon were beautiful! Overall, we like the tour, our tour guide and our English guide did a very good job despite some communication issues with the morning pick-up, but the visiting places soon amazing us after an hour on the bus to get there. Both Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain is a must-see when visiting Chengdu, the scheduled itinerary was a stand out with no rush in between. Our tour guide “小王 - 王思嘉” was amazing and knowing the places inside-out and taking care of everything for us from entering the places, taking us to the connecting tour bus inside and cable car and gave us all the helpful advices in particular the mountain walking at Qingcheng, and she also walked with us most of the time except the last optional mountain top climbing part. The provided lunch was ordinary at best but it was expected and it’s not the highlight of the tour anyway. The day concluded with dropping us back to our hotel around 7. It was a long day and lots of walking but it’s worth visiting and it was beautiful★

The schedule is well planned, plenty time for each attraction. The driver 吳師傅 arrived hotel 30mins ahead to standby. The Panda base is not too crowded. The pandas are active in the morning. They are cute, we skipped the lunch session cos we were full, the bookstore and the giant panda sculpture are good for photo. That's some local restaurants near the sculpture. (The food smells good but we were not hungry) The last stop is the dujiangyan, the south bridge actually next to it. Therefore we get in dujiangyan and get up to those temples, and walk through the ancient town then get out at the south bridge, that will be a lot of steps if you desired to go up hill. The view is just manifasciant! We only watch the blue tears for 5mins due to the rain.
