Reviews: From Rome: Day Trip to Pompeii with Tickets
Guest User2026-09-28
The visit to Pompeii with a French-speaking guide was very interesting. The journey with the organizer went well despite the detours required by the road. He shared a lot of useful and interesting information about the towns we passed through.

Reviews: From Rome: Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento Day Trip

We had an amazing time, our guide Antonino and bus driver were fab. We learnt a lot and can't wait to go back to Sorrento. The only minor issue we had was that the earpieces used for the Pompeii tour didn't fit well and constantly fell out.

Reviews: Half-day tour to Pompeii in Italy | Includes skip-the-line admission ticket and guide | Multiple options and departure time slots
Guest User2026-07-26
This tour is suitable for independent travelers in Naples. If you go on your own, you'll need to transfer buses, and finding your way around the attractions is too much of a hassle; I encountered many people getting lost, and it was quite difficult to find a map. My morning itinerary after the Basilica of San Severno was to Pompeii. Since I was going to Rome in the afternoon, this tour departed at 11:00 AM and returned at 2:30 PM, which was perfect. Everyone in the tour was a foreigner except for me. I also asked the Russian girl next to me, and she booked through an overseas travel agency website. Ctrip's tour fee might have an extra 5 euro service fee, but I think it's fair and acceptable. Registering on foreign websites and booking back and forth is too troublesome; this is much more convenient. The tour guide was a very handsome Italian. He spoke English the entire time. It was a bit hot, so I could only catch bits and pieces, but since I had seen documentaries about it before, it wasn't important. The guide in Pompeii and the tour guide on the bus were two different people. The only thing to be careful about is the boarding and alighting points at the Tenomis Hotel; they're only a couple hundred meters apart. The tour guide mentioned this, but I didn't pay attention and realized the location was wrong on the map. I told the guide I was nervous, but he had actually given out the alighting names. So, when traveling with an English-speaking tour group, it's essential to communicate with the tour guide beforehand. The tour ends a little after 2:30, around 2:45. If you have a train scheduled afterward, 3:30 should be more reliable. I got off the wrong train again at 3:10, so I had to run like crazy, haha, but I still made it! 🥰

Reviews: Pompeii Ruins 2-Hour Guided Tour and priority entry ticket
Guest User2026-10-21
booked 2 tickets on the day online. I thought I had purchased what I needed, regarding tour and entry. however ,I received a text to say I would need to buy entry ticket at guides office. this wasn't clear when buying the tickets. I was told 21 euros by text, but when we arrived at the office it was 22 euros for some reason. The tour itself was really good and so interesting. our guide(nic) was knowledgeable and funny.
