Reviews: Huangshan Scenic Area One-Day Tour [Trip Gold Medal Guide & Mountain Climbing Escort ■ Multiple Packages ■ No Shopping Tour]

Our day trip to Huangshan was perfect! We had a wonderful tour guide, Mr. Li, who meticulously planned the itinerary and cared for every member of our group. He did his best to minimize walking and maximize the scenic views. Thanks to his thoughtful arrangements, we experienced the multifaceted beauty of Huangshan – it was truly a worthwhile trip!★

There were language issues, but the scenery alone was enough. We had planned to stay overnight on the mountain, contrary to our original schedule, and the guide booked everything for us—hotel check-in, the return cable car, and the bus tickets—and even explained the route clearly. They also took great photos for us and sent them to us. It was a safe and enjoyable time.★

Reviews: Huangshan Scenic Area+Yungu Cableway1-day Tour

We visited in November on a weekday. Lesser crowd and the weather was perfect, sunny between 10°C & 15°C. Our tour came with a guide who got us the tickets and planned the hiking routes, covering every "tourist-must-see" parts of the mountain.
The buffet lunch recommended by the guide at ¥98/pax up on the mountains is a really good deal too.
Huangshan is NO JOKE. The 8km up and down the steps lasted for almost 6 hours, excluding the one-way 20mins shuttle bus ride & one-way 10mins cable car ride. At the end of the tour our legs were not cooperative anymore.
Besides the breathtaking views, it was also heartbreaking to see elderly potters carrying approximately 180 catties (about 108kg!) of goods up and down the mountains. They are literally breaking their backs 😭! Some even stopped and asked passers-by for water / food. Would forming a bucket brigade or a human chain be workable?★

While we expected to join in to a tour group, we ended up having a private tour led by the wonderful Frannie! We were picked up right on time from our hotel in Tunxi, and seamlessly transferred to the bus to get to the cable car. Frannie’s guidance, and help along the way was great. She was able to tell us all about all the landmarks, and make sure we saw everything from the best angle. The pace was perfect, not too rushed but also not too slow. We feel like we got the best combination of it all!★
