Hotels With spa in Mpumalanga, South Africa

It’s our honeymoon, and we’re glad we chose South Africa as our honeymoon destination! Spent 4 nights at Grand Kruger Lodge and booked 2 game drives, a sunrise bush walk and sunset drive via the lodge. The lodge staff were good representatives of South African hospitality; we were well taken care of since day 1 - from decorating our room to welcome us for our honeymoon, the delicious and homely dinner spread (we looked forward to checking out the handwritten menu on the blackboard daily!), the friendly chats to find out if we enjoyed our Kruger National Park experience, leaving us chocolates on our bed after dinner etc. Returning to the lodge after our day felt like returning home to meet close friends whom we knew by name. Special shoutout to Innocent (yes that’s a staff’s name) who even gave us a ride back to the lodge when he saw us walking on the dirt path back after visiting Marloth viewpoint! The game drives were conducted by the lodge safari guides, while the bush walk and sunset drive were conducted by SAN Parks rangers. We got Tamba as our game drive guide and learnt loads from him! From learning how to identify male/female animals via their distinctive features, to looking out for telltale signs such as animal poop and footprints to determine if the animals were nearby, the drives were like a live Nat Geo experience! Definitely miss this place and everyone we met at Kruger/Marloth. Thank you for the lovely memories 😊

Beautiful room with a phenomenal view! Great location, about 20 mins from Kruger park. The space was large, spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable — perfect for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary sherry, water, and milk in the room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond: they had dinner ready for me even though I returned after restaurant hours, and they kindly held my luggage the next morning when I had to leave at 5 a.m. The pool looked incredible, though unfortunately I didn’t have time to use it. Overall, an outstanding experience with wonderful hospitality and very well maintained grounds. I’d definitely stay here again!

This has to be one of the nicest hotel in the safari. We stayed at the newly built 2 bedrooms plunge pool villa, it is spectacular! Everything is perfect, from the interior design, panorama view, pool, amenities, beds, service and everything is amazing! Our safari guide is the best, he is great with children and also very knowledgeable on everything in the reserve from animals, birds, trees, insects and roads, on and off roads. The kitchen staffs offers us delicious meals everyday, everything is perfect!

“We had a truly wonderful stay at Simbavati Waterside. The hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to our guide Sheddy for his deep knowledge and enthusiasm, our tracker Allan for his sharp eyes and calm professionalism, and our butler Richmond for his warm service and thoughtful care throughout the stay. Every part of the experience — from the game drives to the meals — was exceptional. We hope to return one day!”

It is a huge complex with full scale ****** and relevant audience on first floor. Nearby there is a biggest chemical plant with flaming tubes and industrial landscape The breakfast was testy and very acceptable all facilities in room were on highest level

The rooms and environment are beautiful and clean. The environment is quiet and just what we wanted. The only thing I would say is maybe the curtains can be darker and the glass on the doors can be covered…the room is very light at night.

Located on the edge of sabie river , the scenery is beautiful, you can prepare your own meals, braii facilities are all available, or choose to go to the restaurant to eat, the amusement facilities are complete, suitable for parents and children or friends to travel on weekends!

Hotel requires serious renovation and repair. Furniture is ancient. We got a shale. Next door can park the car. Shale needs renovation. The breakfast area has a superb terrace with river view. Breakfasts and dinner are delicious. Water, tea, coffee at dinner are paid. All Swedish table

We’ve been to Ndhula a couple of times simply because of the great service they offer! The staff is always friendly and the food is great, shout out to the chef! I also did the massage and I totally recommend it!!

1. The geographical position is excellent, just at the gate of the national park, there is also a town nearby, there is a large supermarket: 2. From the front desk, restaurant to safari drivers are good, very active to help; 3. Eat for 4 or 5 days in a row, breakfast is English, dinner dishes are very rich, and many big fish and meat, willing to smash money, but some dishes are not suitable for Chinese tastes, we rely on a plate of chicken shrimp fried noodles every night; 4. The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, and small animals can often be seen.
