A broken room phone is a safety violation, but your staff’s total lack of empathy during an emergency is a failure of management. I expect a formal response regarding how you plan to address these room defects and the deeply problematic behavior of your front desk team. Anstatt mir in dieser dringenden Lage zu helfen, weigerte sich Ihr Personal, mich zu unterstützen, und drängte mich stattdessen in räuberischer Absicht dazu, einen völlig überteuerten Adapter vom Hotel zu kaufen. Zu allem Überfluss war das Personal an der Rezeption kalt und abweisend. Der völlige Mangel an grundlegender Höflichkeit ging über schlechten Kundenservice hinaus – es fühlte sich eindeutig nach rassistischer Voreingenommenheit an. Ein defektes Zimmertelefon ist ein Sicherheitsverstoß, aber das völlige Fehlen von Empathie Ihres Personals in einer Notsituation ist ein Versagen des Managements. Booked for three people. A sofa bed was already set up for us. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really liked the attic-style window. The bathroom's shower pressure was a bit weak, but I was generally satisfied. However, I kept trying to call the reception from my room, but couldn't get through, so I had to go down to the first floor after 10 PM. They might need more staff at the reception. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; there wasn't much variety, and depleted items weren't refilled. The location was good. It was an overall decent experience.

The reception was indifferent and unfriendly. When booking, I specified the need for latex pillows and an extra luggage rack in the special requests section, but neither was provided upon check-in. The concierge's service was better. At check-out, I requested the frontdesk to help with my luggage, but no one came to assist. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also poorly attended to; the service was lukewarm and indifferent, perhaps due to the restaurant's high demand. The food quality was mediocre and did not live up to the website's claim of being the top restaurant in Munich. The Deluxe Room we booked online was advertised as 35-38 square meters, but the actual room was much smaller than expected. In short, aside from the location, everything else fell short of expectations, earning only a mediocre rating. I would likely not stay there again or recommend it to friends; perhaps my expectations were too high, leading to greater disappointment.

The location was one of its biggest strengths for us. The hotel is only one bus stop away from Munich Messe, or about a five-minute drive if you're coming by car. For anyone attending an exhibition or event there, it makes the early mornings and long days feel much more manageable. Another thing that stood out was just how clean and well maintained the hotel felt. You could tell that some parts of the property, such as the carpets, had been there for quite a few years, but they were looked after remarkably well. Rather than feeling worn, the hotel gave the impression of being carefully maintained and respected by the people running it. I also appreciated the little touches in the lobby. There were refreshments available for both adults and children—ice cream, cookies, and drinks—which added a welcoming atmosphere to the space. It was one of those simple gestures that makes a hotel feel more hospitable and less transactional. The gym being open 24 hours a day was another unexpected bonus. Whether arriving late after a long day or wanting an early workout before heading out, having that flexibility was genuinely useful. For those arriving by car, the free parking directly in front of the hotel was another convenience that shouldn't be underestimated, especially around Munich where parking can quickly become expensive or complicated. The only less positive part of our stay was an interaction at the front desk. One of the gentlemen working there came across as somewhat impatient and a little abrupt. To be fair, the hotel was fully booked during our visit, and it was easy to imagine that the workload and constant stream of guests might have been contributing factors. Still, it stood out slightly against what was otherwise a very positive experience.

For a hotel located by the lake with a relatively high rating, I naturally expected a comfortable and reasonably spacious room with a nice lake view. However, I booked a single room and was honestly very disappointed upon entering. The room was extremely small, the bed felt cramped, and the ceiling was very low due to the sloped roof which means I couldn’t even sit upright on the bed comfortably. Even worse, there was no proper view through the window at all. The window was tiny, making the room quite dark, and it didn’t face anything pleasant. The photos on the website were also quite misleading and did not match the actual room I received. For a room priced at around €150 per night, this kind of space and condition feels unreasonable. To be fair, the facilities in the whole are fairly good. There is a wellness area, a gym, and a restaurant with great food and a nice view. However, the restaurant is also quite expensive, and breakfast is not included and must be paid separately. Given the pricing, I don’t think these aspects deserve excessive praise. What really matters is the room itself. Paying €150 per night for a room of about 15 square meters, with an average ceiling height of less than 2.2 meters and a very tiny window facing other’s balcony, honestly made me feel misled. In my opinion, the room quality does not match the price at all.

Even though I arrived in the morning, they let me check in because the room was ready. I was only there to drop off my luggage, but I was happy that I was able to check in. The room was very clean and spacious. The hair dryer had a strong wind, which was nice. I had hung a card on the door requesting cleaning, but the room was not cleaned or the towels were not changed.

We arrived at 6 PM on the first day. We had two rooms, and two people were checking us in. The person checking in the double room told me it was actually a single room, and the single room was checked in for two people. I don't think that's right. That evening, we washed our clothes and put them on the rack, and the amount of dust we wiped off was like the first picture. The next morning, they didn't clear away our breakfast until after 3 PM, and didn't even clean up the items on the floor. This hotel doesn't even have its own parking lot, which made us search for ages. We asked later and found out they don't have one. They did help us bring our luggage upstairs. The front desk staff had a bad attitude.

Everything was great, this was the most satisfying hotel stay on my trip to Germany. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very modern, with USB charging ports available. It was incredibly quiet, no noise at all, and the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and underground parking was convenient.
