A good option in its segment. It's a shame we were just passing through between flights and only stayed here for one night. We really liked the atmosphere and the staff at this place. The beach, restaurants, and market stalls... everything is nearby and has a great vibe. Maybe we'll come back for a week.
The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because itโs a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel.
Thereโs work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.
Good hotel but located next to the fishing village. The smell was essentially not, but if you go out of the beach it is better to walk away but not towards the center of Colva, but to the right
Overall great stay and standard Ginger look and feel.
(1) Location - very approachable, near to Condolim beach
(2)rooms - usual ginger decor. Could be little bit bigger. Bathroom was on smaller side
(3) lobby - grand and colorful
(4) Food - very good breakfast spread and dinner. Mr Krishna also took care of our jain requirement
The parking area is not connected with lift and requires stairs.
The Total environment is Clean and maintained necessary Cleanliness
Rooms are good, and clean, reception counter is good, food is good ๐
Overall good experience we had.
Very peaceful area
I will start with the best: The character is chic, starting from the entrance and everyone with whom we have had to interact, polite, smiley, sincerely set up to help and to meet all your adequate needs - it is just a gun, megarepspect. Come only for the night with the family, it was a forced stop, but to the hotel this relationship does not have, in the morning at breakfast we prepared the best for all the time omlet with milk, then we asked the cash, which was not and cocoa, the guy didn't even know what it was, guggled and we all did! The territory is beautiful, the road to the beach is pleasant, the rooms are beautiful! The sand on the beach is small, violinous like snow - just heaven!!
And the minus that require categorical attention:
1. The floor in the room was very dirty, we arrived late in the evening, laid the children, took a shower, went there on the room, and in the morning looked at their feet and chips. The wife took a napkin and spent on the floor - it would be better not to see ๐คฃ
2. In the pool, very clean water, the pool itself with different depths, very comfortable - NO, in the children's, smaller, area of the pool simply cannot be located, very strongly pulls the urine out of the toilets, right smells exactly at the level of water and a meter above. If you sail to the opposite end, there everything is good, airs.ย
3. We have not faced a problem, but I think there are few lying on the pool and beach(8 pcs), perhaps beach lying more relevant for Europeans, then should be enough.
Located in Ashvem, The Blackbuck Ashwem is within a 15-minute drive of Ashvem Beach and Morjim Beach. This hotel is 12.5 mi (20.2 km) from Baga Beach and 3.5 mi (5.6 km) from Arambol Beach.
Make yourself at home in one of the 66 guestrooms.
We had gone as 3 couples together. The rooms were of great quality and we were pleased with how the rooms looked. The pool was very clean and the garden view is beautiful with sea breeze.
