Romantic Hotels in Central Visayas, Philippines

The location is great. Our room is very pleasant with free bottles of water bath robe provided. Our room is overlooking the Newtown beach. Need beach pass which is just a 5 min walk. Newtown beach and amenities are great with Bohemian theme. There are several convenient stores around. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is great. Thanks to the dining staff Mico who gave us an anniversary treat cake during our breakfast. Location is near to our place of worship you No floor towel provided and the small.towel is bi okt worn out no lotion provided. When we get there after our trip Hotel changed name to Mercure maybe thats the reason because it has a Belmont name on the towels Overall we enjoyed our stay and hotel is recommended..

Near to the airport. Around 15-20 minutes only. Service is so good as the staff willing to help me to decorate my room for my husband’s suprise birthday. Thanks to Mr Jed and team. I owe you for my good stay there. Overall, the food is acceptable, but the variety is limited. Additionally, the halal section is placed very close to the pork items, which is not appropriate and may be uncomfortable for Muslim travellers.

Surely it’s very nice 5 star hotel, but still one thing you need to consider before booking. The beach is sandy and zones nearby are quite comfortable to stay in and have a rest on the shore. But if you’re snorkeling fan - not a good option for you. On the photo you can see what happens on low tide. Surely you need to wear coral boots (mandatory!!!) and walk a long distance before reaching point where you can swim and snorkel. Still famous aero plane wreckage can be easily accessed and seen underwater. Coral bottom of the sea quite poor on this beach. But you can see a lot of different starfishes.

So, Only Seed Hotel... hmm, where do I start? The room was okay, but you know when the pics online look way better? Yeah, that. I think they use photos of, like, all their rooms for the standard king, 'cause I was picturing something bigger. The shower was a struggle – was the water even hot? Who knows! The separate toilet and shower thing? Cute idea, but brrr! Still freezing in there because of the gaps up top. And OMG, when my hubby showered, the toilet flooded! The seal is a joke. And the bidet? Let's just say it's like a power washer for your lady bits. Ouch! But hey, free water! That's a win. And the breakfast? Sarap! Not too salty, just right. I was shook when they brought out the whole spread – fruit, coffee, juice... all of it! Tapsilog was on point. They even nailed the eggs – sunnyside up for me, cooked yolk for the hubs. Plus, a whole plate of watermelon each! The juice and coffee were legit. The pool looked Insta-worthy, but we were zonked from our countryside tour. Plus, it closes early. The location's a bit out of the way, but there's street food nearby for when you're tipid. Not the best grub, but busog is busog, right? Would I stay again? Ewan ko. The staff were super nice, though. But no phones in the room? Ugh, gotta trek to the front desk next door for everything. Really awesome and accommodating service. The resort is one of the best I've experienced in this part of asia, in terms of the food, room quality, all the hardware and service as well. Aloher was super friendly and very helpful, the front office staff were all kind and warm too. Breakfast was excellent, but might need greater variety in the fruit section. Location was slightly off the beaten track but the private beach as a result was perfect.

This was a fantastic hotel! What stood out most was how incredibly kind and helpful the hotel staff were, offering 24-hour assistance. The breakfast was also delicious, and the rooms were clean, making for a truly satisfying hotel stay.

I’m very satisfied with my stay at Coco Grove. I love everything in this resort. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. There were lots of activities to do. It is clean and well maintained. Most of all, they made everything convenient- from checking in to checking out. I wish I stayed longer.

I spent four nights in the excecutive suite of the new wing and i was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and excellent standard of this beautiful resort near the airport, which was not noticeable at all (no planes flying over or near the location). The hotel staff was always attentive, friendly and helpful. The beach was kept clean, the schools of little fish in the water indicating its purity. The restaurant Allegro's breakfast buffet offered a variety of different cuisine to choose from: tasty , fresh, appetizingly displayed. i especially enjoyed the local filipino treats like puto and bibinki. In addition i thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian pizza at Delfino's and the refreshing thrist-quenching freshly-made juices at the juiceBar. I received two very relaxing treatments by Ms.Aileen at the Spa, with its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Housekeeper Ms.Rose was impeccable at making sure i always had new bottles of drinking water. Although i did not require her daily housekeeping, my room stayed clean , towels orderly and my laundry was in perfect condition , delivered on time. This beautiful Resort deserves a five star rating in my humble opinion. Bravo and Thank you Bluewater Maribago, i know where i will be staying when i come back to the Philippines in the near future.

This is our 2nd time with my husband booking this hotel, I prefer to stay here because it is quite near to the mactan airport and they also have free drop off and pick up in which I believe it was less hassle to just an ordinary customer like me. Furthermore, the cleanlines and ambiance was good and the staffs are accommodating. Highly recommended this hotel

Location is a bit far from Alona Beach, but the resort offers free shuttle services at fixed times (9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, and 9PM), which is very convenient. The room was clean and spacious. We were initially assigned a room with connecting doors, so we could hear noise from the adjacent room. After showing a video of the issue, the staff kindly accommodated our request for a room change. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the other room we booked wasn’t ready by 3PM, so we had to wait about 30 minutes. They allowed us a late check-out though, which we really appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay and great value for the price. Recommended.
