"A clean business hotel very close to the pier, great for those catching a ferry. Right opposite SM Mall, so shopping is super convenient. It's relatively quiet at night, not too noisy, and I didn't spot any bugs. There's also a 7-Eleven downstairs."
I'm leaving this review in the hopes that it will be helpful to those traveling to Bohol.
1. Location: Since it's far from Alona Beach, I had to pay an additional 300 pesos one way for the free massage pickup and drop-off.
2. Facilities: The room was very comfortable and bright, perfect for putting on makeup. The mattress and bedding were nice, and the single beds came with two pillows, which was very comfortable.
3. Pool: The water was clean and regularly maintained, so it was great for swimming. At other resorts, I've never been in the water.
4. Meals: Breakfast was included, which was simple but filling and delicious. It was also nice to be able to order other meals whenever I wanted, which was also delicious.
5. Service: The staff were all friendly, and since it's not a busy area, they provided hotel pickup and drop-off for nearby areas and called tuk-tuks for further places. Grab wasn't available.
6. Overall: This is a resort I'd stay at again when I want a quiet and relaxing stay, but the distance from the city center was a bit inconvenient. This resort is great for water activities. I went shopping at ICM for 400 pesos one way, but I like to wander around nearby, so I moved to Alona Beach and had some fun.
Because it's surrounded by mountains, there were so many mosquitoes that I think I killed about 10 a day. Ask for an electric mosquito coil to minimize the damage.
This is a resort I highly recommend, but the biggest drawback is the mosquitoes.
The ambiance + the interiors + exteriors is its best feature. We enjoy the concept. Also the front desk lady informed us beforehand abt possible concerns and we’re ok with all those.
Location wise: just 10-15 minutes away from alona where most restos/shops/spas located with motorbike/van or tuktuk. Fine if u want a moment of silence after nightlife in Alona heheh.
Rate per night is reasonable. And got vouchers from this app ✨
Honest review for the bfast served - there are only 3 options and i just like the sandwich. 🤗
I got a heart with the staff bcos she is so mabait and considerate with the challenges faced during the booking. The owner should give a raise! Or hire staff atleast one more.
Cleanliness - 8/10
Add more food and beverages.
We dont have body mirror in our room. a little bit disappointed wt that since im just a girl but im ok with the reflection on the glass 😬😏
Still recommended for a place to stay in Panglao.
The location of the hotel is OK, it's only about 10 minutes' walk from the commercial center, and it's easy to find food. The hotel facilities are too old. The air conditioner in the room was not cooling and the noise was very loud. There was no way to rest. After communicating with the front desk, it was immediately solved and the room was changed. I would like to thank the hotel service staff for their quick handling. The air conditioner in the changed room was fine. When I washed up in the morning, the water from the faucet was gone. It gushed out and then stopped. It took a long time to get back to normal. We booked a suite, but it was just a little bit. It didn't feel like a suite. It cost more than 600 a night without breakfast, which was a bit not worth it.
The hotel has a great location, just a five- or six-minute walk from Alona Beach and McDonald's. The room is a duplex, with two floors; there's no bed on the upper floor. There's a pool in the courtyard with two lounge chairs. The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries like toothbrushes; you'll need to bring your own.
