"I came to Izu last year and again this year. After considering many factors like value for money, location proximity, and convenience to Mount Omuro, Jogasaki Coast, and Izukyu Shimoda, I still chose this hotel. Although the hotel looks a bit old from the outside and is run by elderly people, they are very spirited, healthy, speak excellent English, and are very polite. The rooms are also exceptionally clean. I absolutely love this hotel and have recommended it to every friend I know who is traveling to Japan! I hope everyone will support their business; you definitely won't regret it!"

"This is a century-old hotel with a real sense of history. Dinner and breakfast were decent, much like what you'd find at most onsen hotels, with the added local specialty of sea bream. The unique bathing experience here is thanks to the hotel's exclusive mountain elevator, which takes you to the highest point for panoramic views of the entire city."

"This is a traditional Japanese onsen ryokan. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a private hot spring bath and a complimentary massage chair. The dinner was bountiful and well worth the price. The staff lady was absolutely adorable; even though her English wasn't perfect, her effortful body language always made me laugh. I truly appreciated her dedication and politeness 💖"

"This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$ As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!"

"The location is incredibly convenient; the hotel is directly connected to the high-speed rail and bus stations on the ground floor. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant had a great view. Plus, there's a free rooftop onsen, which was a pleasant surprise! Although the room was small, it was very clean and the facilities were new. The hotel staff were patient and friendly, providing excellent service. Overall, I was very satisfied!"

"Facilities: Very old, which is exactly the style I love. Cleanliness: First-class, fresh air, and the hot springs ♨️ were excellent. Environment: It happened to be pouring rain ☔️, which made for a perfectly beautiful view with the stream gurgling. Service: Fantastic. "I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."
