"Location is not the best area in Hohhot, but taxi is cheap in the city so it was not a big issue. What bothered us the most was the fact that the room is “non-smoking” but had obvious smell of smoke when we arrived, and an ashtray (?!) is part of the room amenities. I asked the front if I was put in the wrong room and they said that it was indeed non-smoking but due to the language barrier they could not explain the ashtray well. Besides that, it was OK in terms of cleanliness and the bed was comfortable. The smell faded away from the 2nd night. Staff was also very helpful for fulfilling our requests. I recommend the hotel to remove the ashtray to suggest guests to not smoke. All in all it is a decent accommodation for what you pay for."

They offered complimentary fruit and beverages, and the late-night snack service was a thoughtful touch, with staff on-site to prepare noodles. The breakfast spread was excellent, featuring milk tea, freshly steamed shaomai, and noodles, among other things. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time I visit Hohhot."

"They upgraded us, an older couple, to a Russian-style room. The facilities were excellent and fully equipped, the toiletries were good, and the shower water was nice and hot – perfect for unwinding. It was clean and well-maintained, with timely housekeeping. The hotel is located on Zhongsu Jinjie, a bustling street, making shopping and getting around very convenient; it was easy to hail a taxi quickly from the roadside. The service deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were warm and thoughtful. They even allowed us to have an early breakfast because we had to catch a morning train. The Russian-style buffet afternoon tea was a comfortable spot for relaxing and chatting."

"Having stayed at numerous hotels in Hohhot, this is truly the first one that genuinely impressed me. The hotel facilities are very new, the lobby design is distinctive, and the staff's service attitude is excellent. The room design is thoughtful, exuding a subtle sense of luxury throughout. It's also adorned with artwork featuring unique Inner Mongolian characteristics, creating just the right regional ambiance. It avoids the monotonous feel of chain hotels and the aloofness of older luxury establishments; instead, it makes you feel warm and at ease, like returning home. From the color scheme and lighting to the overall layout and decor, it clearly caters to a younger aesthetic, making for a very comfortable stay. The shower's temperature control is very user-friendly, which is a definite plus.
The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to Hohhot's unique attractions, and right outside a subway station, making transportation incredibly hassle-free.
The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel is right next to an elevated highway, so traffic noise is quite noticeable. Additionally, the overall soundproofing is average, allowing sounds from the hallway to be heard in the room, which can slightly affect rest.
Overall, it was a stay that exceeded my expectations. I hope the hotel can improve the soundproofing in the future; I believe the experience would then be even more perfect."

"Choosing Shan Yin Qi Zhu was absolutely the right decision for our family trip to Ulan Hada! The room was spacious and bright, plenty of room for my three-year-old to run and play. There's also an enclosed small courtyard where he immediately started playing freely, so we didn't have to constantly watch him. The owner even gave free fireworks to the kids, and my son played so much he didn't want to come back inside. The breakfast, with its buns and millet porridge, was light and perfect for my child's taste. The owner also gave us some homemade, additive-free milk candy, which my son clutched and ate the whole way. It’s only about a twenty-minute drive to the volcano, and the owner even recommended a less crowded, gentle slope route, which made climbing with a child totally manageable. Our whole family had a fantastic time, I highly recommend this place for families with kids!"

Service: The service was absolutely fantastic! 👏 Because we felt so comfortable, we extended our stay for another night. One evening, after returning from a scenic spot, the restaurant manager specifically waited for us, knowing we'd be back for dinner. We ended up eating until closing time, and the service remained consistently excellent from start to finish. The Western restaurant also has a play area for kids, which was great for my younger brother during meals. There was also a short-haired, round-faced front desk staff member who spoke very gently and patiently explained everything from beginning to end, even though I had many questions. This shows that their excellent service isn't just an individual thing, but reflects a high-quality brand with thorough internal training! Definitely worth choosing!

GGuest UserThe service was excellent! 👍 I booked a twin room, and the hotel upgraded us to a family suite in advance. There was even a handwritten welcome card with our names on it. The room was very spacious, and the children's toiletries were all provided.
This must be the best accommodation in the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The courtyard has children's facilities like a fountain, slide, swings, and a carousel, and many kids play there in the evenings after guests return from their travels. 🛝 The air quality is also excellent.
However, breakfast was just average. It's best to go early, otherwise, there won't be much left to eat. Some guests in the laundry room were inconsiderate and used the washing machines to wash shoes, clogging them with mud. This was the only place on our entire trip where we had to hand-wash our clothes. The dryers were also in high demand.
Additionally, the on-site restaurant has limited serving hours, and late delivery orders can be slow due to limited capacity.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel and would definitely stay here again if I come back to this area! 👍

GGuest UserManzhouli Youyi Hotel is a long-standing four-star hotel with an excellent location, right next to Manzhouli Railway Station. You can see it from the station, and it's a short walk after exiting to the right and crossing the railway bridge. Located on Yidao Street, it's very convenient to Zhongsu Golden Street and Beihu Park, yet without any noise disturbance. The hotel's interior environment is great, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The front desk staff and the few staff in the lobby were all enthusiastic and responsible, working together seamlessly. We arrived early, and they proactively helped us check in and even upgraded our room, providing the most attentive service. When we checked out, they gave us a lovely souvenir. The stay was very pleasant, making it an ideal choice for accommodation in Manzhouli!

Service: The front desk check-in is efficient and intimate. I learned that we are traveling with children and pets. We took the initiative to arrange this spongeBob SquarePants theme room type. The reception is very friendly. After checking out, I found that the earrings were accidentally lost. I contacted the front desk. She was very patient and serious to help investigate and find. She actively followed up the whole process and the service was warm and thoughtful.
Hygienic: The room is cleaned meticulously, the bedding is clean and odorless, the ground and bedside tables are clean and tidy, and the sanitary details are strictly controlled. Even if you bring pets, the environment is clean and refreshing, and you live in peace of mind.
Facilities: Children like the theme bedding especially, the bed is moderately hard and soft, the room lighting and storage are complete, the curtains are shading and sound insulation are good; The hotel supports free parking, and it is pet-friendly. The bedding is very comfortable, and the room even has a bathtub. You can ask for disposable bath liners, which the kids loved using for a bath in the room. The restaurant downstairs was incredibly popular for dinner; we couldn't get a table just by walking in – you need to book a day in advance, so we missed out on eating there. However, the hotel breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious dishes!

As soon as I entered the yurt, I was amazed by the traditional solid wood decoration and wool felt exterior wall, which perfectly preserved the Mongolian style. I didn't expect that under the traditional appearance, the internal facilities were super modern and comfortable: independent bathroom, 24-hour hot water can be enjoyed at any time; once the air conditioner is turned on, it is warm even at night. High-speed WiFi is available, and it is super comfortable to lie on the soft big bed and watch TV series. The most considerate thing is that it provides special breakfast, milk tea, milk, and various side dishes. The store also enthusiastically introduces the tour route.
