Romantic Hotels in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

Great hotel with a luxurious view of the most famous beach. Yes, there are some minor issues, like sometimes having to wait 7 minutes for an elevator, but I don't consider that a problem. It's a 30-story hotel with 6 elevators and many rooms, so you can imagine. The breakfasts are a bit repetitive and could be improved, but they do have fresh orange juice, which is a nice touch. There aren't always enough hotel umbrellas and chairs on the beach, but I don't see that as critical either. The bed was good, and I slept excellently! My birthday fell during my stay, and the hotel gave me a lovely surprise! Thank you! I'll definitely be back.

All right ... breakfast, swimming pool, staff were super attentive and mainly the beach view that is the postcard of the site.

This was my fifth time at this hotel . Both my husband and I always enjoy staying here ! The best - as good as the amazing views of the beach - are the staff .  It is incredible that most servers , check in people , luggage bellmen remember us ! They are all so kind , efficient and friendly that they make us feel part of their family !  Can’t find words to describe how much we enjoy staying at the PortoBay , Copacabana !

The environment is great! The air is fresh and the service is warm and thoughtful!

The Pousada is located in area out of Paraty You must have a car to be able to go around to the city , once arrived at the hotel they trying to get as much money as they can offering upgrades etc , during our time they was a night that Brasil play at the World Cup and to enjoy the Bar you needed to pay 37 usad to be able to set at the bar There was a public area like the bar that is to be used in all guests every night but they close it for the game this not correct If you planing just to relax by the pool and enjoy the facilities but if you wish to travel around you maybe better taking other place at the city center

La pousada se encuentra bien ubicada, a una cuadra de la playa. Al llegar nos asignaron una habitacion que no coincidia con nuestra reserva y NO SALIA AGUA CALIENTE en la ducha del baño y tampoco habia agua caliente en el lavatorio. La cortina de la ventana estaba realmente MUY SUCIA. Manifestamos estos inconvenientes al personal y, como era domingo, no pudieron ofrecernos mejores opciones. Ademas, nos indicaban que debiamos reclamar a la aplicacion a traves de la cual habiamos hecho la reserva, y no con la pousada. Al otro dia, volvimos a consultar por la posibilidad de un cambio y finalmente, nos ofrecieron otra habitacion. Tuvieron el detalle de decorarla especialmente por nuestro aniversario. La pousada no tiene estacionamiento pero, cuando fuimos, no estaba la concesion que cobraba el estacionamiento en la calle asi que pudimos dejar el vehiculo en la calle sin problems y sin costo extra. Tener en cuenta que LAS HABITACIONES SE ENCUENTRA SUBIENDO ESCALERAS, en algunos casos hasta 3 pisos y no es muy accesible para personas con movilidad reducida. El desayuno era poco variado

The hostel and beautiful ! The swimming pool at night and what is most beautiful, to drink just moon ! ! I was just sad because it was my birthday and they promised a commemorative cake and for 3 times I warned the 3 reception and they even gave my cake .... I went away without !

The hotel is very well located, near the historic centre of Petropolis and all its tourist areas. It offers a wide morning coffee and its bathrooms have sabbles, shampoos and quality liquid conditioner. Great internal installation with clean view. All the tours to the large breweries and museums are made on foot. - That's great.

Excelente!! Hermoso una vista perfecta, el personal súper respetuoso y atento nos recibió Mateo. Las habitaciones amplias cómodas con un estilo colonial, la habitación con una vista al mar perfecta, lo único que se escuchaba un poco el ruido de abajo que justo hay un resto. Pero todo perfecto el desayuno exquisito y súper fresco.

The hotel was very good !!! Super indic the hotel team of the super gentle and well-functioning breakfast, drinks and petiscos in the pool tdo very good tb and out the rooms all clean and smelling. You can certainly come either in couple or in family worth it very much and close to everything you can do on the night several well-legal restaurants I still had the surprise of my new with this decor in the room ❤️
