Other than the unforgivable heat, the place is a pleasant location booming with many tourists. Nice food and local products can be found here.

The Dutch Red House, located on the banks of the Malacca River, was built between 1641 and 1660 and is the oldest Dutch building in Southeast Asia, built by the Dutch colonial government at the time, using red bricks specially shipped from the Netherlands, so commonly known as the "Red House". Originally built, the church was the seat of government for more than 300 years, until 1980 it was converted to a museum in Malacca, containing historical artifacts from Malay, Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. However, it is also said that the exterior walls of the building are red, including the ancient Christian church built in 1753, and the red bell tower built in 1886, are part of the red house.

The Dutch Red House 6 in Malacca Although the British government has carried out many renovations during the British colonial period, Dutch architectural art and designs such as Dutch-style thick brick walls, large windows and doors have been preserved. The only one that has been rebuilt is its underground drainage system. The top floor of the Red House is the former Governor's bedroom, a vast bedroom filled with Chinese mythology and art.
