I had a very enjoyable stay at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the essential amenities for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city.
The hotel facilities were impressive, particularly the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, and sauna, which added extra value to the experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, ensuring a smooth check-in and overall pleasant stay.
While the decor may feel slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-kept and functional. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Auckland.
The room's design and atmosphere were stylish and excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed to find several hairs in the bathtub. It would have been nicer if the bathroom had been a bit cleaner.
In the morning, the cleaning staff started servicing nearby rooms, and the noise of doors opening and closing was quite loud, preventing me from getting a good night's sleep. This might be suitable for early risers, but perhaps not ideal for those who want to relax and sleep in until check-out.
I loved staying with Chancellor on Hobson. The customer service was top tier, and the location was perfect. Is was in the city so it was quite convenient, the wharf is 10 minutes walking distance away, and the sky tower is about 5 minutes walking distance.
I had an amazing time with my partner and the staff were lovely! The pool, spa and sauna and gym were lovely!
The apartment was a bit cramped. I saw that there were apartments of the same category with a larger and better-appointed living room, knowing that we stayed 10 days, 9 nights. We were a bit cramped.... In the kitchen there is a fridge with freezer (very good), as well as a microwave (top), however for cooking a frying pan (a bit tired) and two small saucepans. There is no salad bowl (for example). On the other hand, the bedding is top and comfortable.
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.
An established five-star international hotel with warm and thoughtful reception and skilled business. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. The location is very good, close to the sea. You can go downstairs and walk to the sea. The hotel is also in the harbor. During the stay, I encountered a large cruise ship entering the harbor. It was a real eye-opener. It was an unexpected gain. I have never seen such a large cruise ship up close before. It is more than 300 meters long and about 80 meters wide. It is about a 10-minute walk to Queen Street.
Service was excellent! The free shuttle to and from the airport is so convenient, and it's very helpful for us travellers. The accommodation itself was okay, quite old but necessities are there. Would definitely stay again!
Friendly Staff. Clean room and comfy everything were good except two things the room light low but not bad. And booking confirmation there is jacuzzi inside the bathroom but there wasn’t
Gym, pool, steam and Jacuzzi so much fan and have good change room with lock. The staff on spa was super friendly
The breakfast buffet was delicious
Really enjoyed will be book again
My stay at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre felt a bit like stepping back into the 90s, which was interesting but also a bit polarizing.
The hotel's setting is actually quite good, located by the lake and generally peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. It's perfect for those looking to relax. Parking is also convenient, which was a big plus for me as I was driving.
However, upon entering the room, the age of the place was immediately apparent: the decor was old-fashioned, from the carpets to the furniture, giving it a distinct 'old-school hotel' vibe, reminiscent of a 90s business hotel. On the bright side, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough, so it didn't detract from the basic stay experience.
As for amenities, they were pretty standard. There weren't any particularly modern features; it leaned more towards practical rather than luxurious. The service was decent though, with friendly staff who were quite responsive.
The pros are its quiet location, pleasant environment, and reasonable value for money. The main drawback is definitely its age; if you're particular about how new a hotel feels, you might be a little disappointed.
Overall, it's an 'aged but not bad' hotel, best suited for those who prioritize peace and practicality over modern decor.
”I stayed at this motel recently, and I have to say, the location was absolutely amazing—the view from the room was outstanding. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. My only small critique is that the TV was a bit outdated and could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, though, it was a fantastic stay, and I’d still highly recommend it.”

LLingerbaobeiThe room had a beautiful view, and the balcony door could be opened, but you couldn't get out because there wasn't enough room to stand, which was a shame!
The only downside to the room was that if you opened the refrigerator and didn't close it immediately, or if you closed the door too slowly, a speaker on the ceiling would suddenly start making noises in English. Since my English isn't good, I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and it was terrifying! I felt like I was being spied on, and I didn't even know I was changing clothes. Was there any CCTV in the room? It was quite frightening, and I'm afraid to extend my stay.

AAnonymous UserNestled in superb locations, the hotel offers not only convenience but also serenity. The staff’s service was beyond impeccable, the room exuded cleanliness and order, and the overall ambiance created an idea setting for both relaxation and deep concentration.
YYuyijintianyekaixinlemaLocation: First off, the location is excellent. It's a pleasant 10-minute walk to the harbor, a 5-minute stroll to the bustling commercial district, and a 7-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Within 10 minutes, you'll find two large supermarkets and numerous Chinese restaurants.
Amenities: The hotel room comes fully equipped with kitchenware, including a microwave. What's even more impressive is that there's a washer and dryer right in the room! Highly recommend!
Service: The front desk is staffed 24 hours, and the staff were quite friendly. After paying online, a 75 yuan deposit is required at check-in.
TTaogekanshijie[”**Version 1 (Short & Sweet):**\nSuper satisfied with our transit stay! The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly soft – I slept wonderfully. The free airport shuttle was so convenient, a real lifesaver for those with connecting flights or catching an early plane. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center; for pure sightseeing, staying downtown would be better. But for a transit stop, this place gets a full recommendation!”,”**Version 2 (Balanced & Honest):**\nThe overall hotel experience was good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after a long flight. The free airport shuttle service was the biggest highlight, saving both hassle and taxi fares. The location is indeed a bit out of the way and far from the city center, so it's not ideal for sightseeing or shopping. However, for a one-night transit stay, it's definitely a top choice and offers great value for money.”,”**Version 3 (Heartfelt Praise):**\nThis hotel is perfectly suited for an airport layover! The room was big enough, and the bedding was soft, making for a great night's sleep. The best part was the free round-trip airport shuttle – such thoughtful service, no need to fuss with taxis. The location is a bit far from the city center, making it less convenient for tourism, but for catching an early flight or a transit stay, it's truly excellent. Highly recommended for fellow frequent flyers!”]

GGuest UserWe booked a room with breakfast and dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, just in time before dinner service ended. The hotel dinner truly blew us away; there was so much food that two adults and two children couldn't even finish it all, and the quality and taste were superb. There was also a great variety of fresh fruit. The next day, we went to a fruit shop and regretted not having packed up the last remaining fruit from the hotel. I've already recommended this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Auckland.
DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Waitakere Resort & Spa for one night, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful native bush and stunning views that make the whole place feel like a relaxing escape from the city.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt positive and professional, and they truly made me feel looked after. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, offering everything needed for a restful night.
The food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dining area also has amazing views, making every meal feel special. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the property is calm, serene, and very refreshing.
I loved the walking tracks, greenery, and peaceful environment. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, great service, and a beautiful environment. I will definitely be returning!
