JJoe RossiterBooked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport.
The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines!
Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in.
The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water.
There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that.
Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted….
Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too

This property offers a unique experience with its beautiful, historic setting near Bologna. The grand alley, antique decor, spacious living room, and modern touches like AC and smart TVs make it feel both classic and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the detailed directions are helpful—just make sure to complete online check-in to get all the access codes.
Pros:
• Peaceful location in nature, yet close to Bologna.
• Clean bedsheets, AC, and modern TVs.
• Impressive decor and spacious common areas.
• Plenty of parking space.
Cons:
• Room and bathroom doors are thin wood, noisy, and not well insulated.
• Bathroom shower door has water leakage issues, from bathroom to hallway to our bedroom—needs fixing.
• Beds are typical Tuscan style, not very stable but nice and new bed sheets!
• No mosquito nets, though AC keeps the room cool.
• Shared kitchen is downstairs; hair dryer didn’t fit any socket…
Overall, it’s one of the best stays in Tuscany at this price range. Just avoid bringing a sports car—the village roads are in very very poor condition.

Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is excellent, close to the company I needed to visit and the subway station. There are also plenty of casual dining options and cafes nearby, making it convenient for business meals or personal meals, significantly saving commuting time.
Environment & Facilities: The lobby has a dedicated business area, making check-in efficient. The room design is simple and practical, with a spacious desk, soft and bright lighting, and fast internet speed, making document processing and video conferencing no problem at all. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Service & Details: The staff were very professional, proactively asking if I needed an invoice and expense report upon check-out. Room service was prompt, quickly providing extra bottled water and ironing service. The breakfast offered a good mix of Western and Chinese options, with a wide variety of choices, ensuring a satisfying and nutritious start to the day.
Overall, this hotel excels in meeting core business travel needs, with excellent facilities and efficient service. It will definitely be my first choice for my next business trip.

GGuest UserA hotel caters for conferences and business meetings. Very spacious common area with plenty of comfortable seating and lovely outdoors area in the middle of the hotel. The room and bathroom are spacious and modern. The downside is the toiletries, the shampoo, body wash and body lotion smelt off. Luckily I brought my own because the fragrance of their complimentary toiletries was unacceptable.
The buffet breakfast was decent and plentiful with the hot foods and pastry section. The standouts were the fresh croissants, bacon and the coffee from the self-service machine was just like the bar. The fresh fruits were tasteless but I loved the dried nuts selection.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The gym also had a variety of professional equipment. I would definitely return and recommend to other travellers but bring your own toiletries.

AAnonymous UserGave a free upgrade for longer stay! Really thankful for that. However, there were mixed experiences with the staff. The staff at the check in counter were friendly, and so was the staff who brought a fan to our room upon requesting it. We found that the kettle provided was dirty and made a request to change it. However, the staff who came up to give the replacement was rude, impatient and unpleasant. When we tried to return the dirty kettle, we were faced with an undeservingly obnoxious reply from him, telling us to leave it and it will be collected the next day. That tone is definitely not appreciated. He ruined the perfect service the other staff had provided.

GGuest UserI was very happy with the room and it's facilities. I really liked that the safe had a key rather than the key pad which I can never work.
I was more than happy with the level of service provided. On my first night I asked reception what plugs were used in the rooms and I was loaned an adapter plug. This was greatly appreciated as I didn't have the correct plug. Also, when I asked for help to call a taxi the night before, at reception, a note was left for the morning reception to call a taxi. True to his word a taxi was called and as stated the taxi arrived within 5 mins.
All in all I was very happy with my hotel room, the staff and the location which was very close, to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
I will definitely return to Rimini and the Royal Plaza.

GGuest UserGreat location, only a short walk to and from the old town centre, and right next to the Parma Centrale. Parking available, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only slight downside was that the AC wasn’t working properly, but the staff ensured that we were well taken care of.

Location is great with the hotel located near the main streets and of course the beach itself.
