This resort was AMAZING! 5/5! What a true gem. The hotel staff are incredible and upgraded my room to a Nile view. The management really know how to treat you and make you feel special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long hot day in the Egyptian sun. Not to mention the amazing sunsets! Highly recommend this hotel

The Temple Hotel & Spa in Luxor is truly a hidden gem and one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. From the beautiful design of the hotel to the exceptional level of service, everything about this place reflects quality and comfort. The moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed by the elegant atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was incredibly respectful, attentive, and eager to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel at home from day one. One of the best things about The Temple Hotel & Spa is its location. It is close to many of Luxor’s famous attractions while still offering a quiet and peaceful environment away from the busy crowds. This made my trip both exciting and relaxing at the same time.

This hotel is absolutely stunning; the photos don't do it justice. The lawn is dotted with meticulously trimmed African-style trees, and at night, you can stargaze. The temperature is pleasant, and there are hardly any mosquitoes; each room even has a mosquito repellent lamp outside. There's a wonderful sense of tranquil spaciousness. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering great value for money. Right next to the Nile River, you can see the Valley of the Kings on the opposite bank, and the infinity pool by the Nile is absolutely breathtaking! We didn't book all-inclusive, so breakfast wasn't included, and dining out was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi in Luxor is a real hassle, so we often went hungry in the mornings. I'd recommend buying some food the day before or booking breakfast. However, on one occasion, we were stopped and checked for outside food when entering the hotel, which I didn't quite understand or appreciate. Most of the staff were friendly, and they didn't fuss about our late check-out on the last day. We only had one slightly negative experience: we tried to book the hotel's felucca, and the staff told us to come back at 6:10 PM to see if it could sail, or switch to an electric boat if not. When we went to the front desk after 6 PM, there was a different person who told us we had missed the window, as felucca bookings were from 6 PM to 7 PM, and if we missed it, we'd have to book for the next day. I found this confusing and felt like they were passing the buck and unwilling to help.

Let's start with the positives: The environment is excellent, right by the Nile River. The swimming pool is large, with two sections offering spacious surroundings. It's very close to the city center, just a 1 km carriage ride away. Most rooms seem to offer direct or partial views of the Nile. We initially had a triple room, then switched to a junior suite with two balconies. The staff were very genuine and keen to make us feel welcome. The transportation department in the lobby was very responsible. The hotel restaurant staff even remembered us and frequently greeted us. The hotel restaurant has ample space, so it never feels crowded. We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and were able to order some Chinese dishes from the adjacent bar, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was great, the prices fair, and the food delicious. The hot water in the room was plentiful, making for a comfortable shower. Now for the drawbacks: The room facilities are noticeably outdated and in urgent need of an upgrade. Upon check-in, it was a bit off-putting, but I gradually understood after adjusting my mindset. I completely forgot about the soaring prices. I noticed a row of white buildings at the hotel that were almost renovated, which should be nice in the future. When checking out, the front desk asked for my feedback, and I told them exactly this. Overall, Luxor tourism is recovering, and I hope more investment comes in.

Every service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night

First of all: the hotel itself has seen better times, my room was quite „used“ and old. But: it was clean and I had everything I needed. Breakfast was pretty good with a nice choice of veggie dishes. Thy gym was amazing - great amount of equipment. Location perfect - walking distance to Luxor and Karnak temple.

The Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor Hotel & Spa, while showing its age, still hints at its past grandeur. The rooms are incredibly spacious and very comfortable, with good amenities – even the TV is a Japanese LG brand. The laundry service is reasonably priced, which is a big plus for long-term travelers. Breakfast offers a decent variety, enough to meet daily needs. The hotel's location is convenient, within walking distance of Luxor Temple, making it easy for sightseeing and getting around. Overall, it offers good value for money.

It's a resort hotel! Although it was a side view, the scenery was still great. You can walk to restaurants from the hotel, but you'll immediately be approached by taxi drivers and horse carriage operators. For Luxor Station or Luxor Temple, I recommend taking a taxi or horse carriage. Those who enjoy walking might be able to do so, but along the way, taxi drivers and horse carriage operators are relentlessly persistent, so be sure to firmly decline or negotiate a price you're comfortable with before using their services.

My girlfriend and I stayed here together. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The location is also excellent; you can walk to Luxor Temple at night. What's more, the Nile River is right in front of the hotel, and watching the sunset over the Nile from the hotel garden was absolutely beautiful. Among all the hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one had the best breakfast, which I was very happy about. Highly recommended!

Extremely satisfied! This hotel feels like a completely different world from the outside. The service, location, room size, and views are all top-notch. A special, heartfelt thank you to Manager Wahid, who provided us with the utmost assistance. Our flight was delayed until 8:50 PM, and after a hot and tiring day visiting the temples, we had nowhere to go. We asked the front desk if we could pay for a late check-out, and dear Manager Wahid immediately offered us a complimentary extension until 5 PM! I was not only shocked but also incredibly grateful when I heard that! I will strongly recommend this hotel to all Chinese and international travelers. They truly care about their guests, a world apart from those who try to scam you outside. You definitely won't regret coming here!
