Hotels With Pools in Qinghai, China

Excellent location. Worth the price. Varied breakfast options. Recommended for families. Parking underground option little inconvenient and parking fees for hotel stay is expensive and shocking. Otherwise room is spacious enough and clean. Staff were helpful and check in and out process was quick and seamless.

The hotel is in a prime location, with ground and underground parking lots. The hotel staff is enthusiastic, the hotel rooms are large and well-equipped, the hotel's breakfast is rich, and the hotel's evening buffet dinner is economical and affordable. Next time I come to Golmud, I will choose to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Qinghai Golmud.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

We started our final China trip form Ürümqi followed by Turpin and Dunhuang. While our hotels there were reasonable, we felt really comfortable when we stayed at at a Club floor room at Sofitel Xining. Their service was one of the best we have experienced during our seven China trips so far. We enjoyed the comfort and the staff’s dedicated service. Thank you.

The stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel has a modern design, spacious and bright rooms, and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of the city. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom has perfect details of dry and wet separation, and the toiletries are high-end and exquisite. All the fatigue along the way is swept away! The front desk was warm and thoughtful, and gave us an upgraded room. The breakfast was rich, and the local yogurt and mutton soup noodles were must-try. The combination of Chinese and Western food satisfied the taste buds. The location is convenient, it only takes 20 minutes to drive to Ta'er Monastery, and there is convenient parking nearby. The details are carefully considered and it is highly recommended to travelers who pursue quality!

The hotel is centrally located, facing the central square. Room windows offer stunning views of Xining's city center. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a large Sharp TV. The bathroom is spacious, with separate wet and dry areas and a TOTO automatic flush toilet. The lobby counter is stocked with bottles of mineral water and a variety of fruit for guests to enjoy, a truly impressive touch. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality. The staff are especially welcoming, proactively inquiring about service needs and offering recommendations, a truly valuable touch. The front desk staff are equally proactive and service-minded. The front square is spacious, with free parking, and the security guards are friendly and attentive. A gas station is just around the corner in the alley next to the hotel, making refueling very convenient.

走進酒店大廳，柔和的音樂和舒適的温度讓人瞬間放鬆，前台小趙看到我拉着行李箱，立刻起身幫忙，辦理入住時還貼心的給我安排了11樓的房間，視野很好，到房間後果然沒讓人失望，落地窗視野超棒早上能看到點日出，房間裏有遮光簾，想睡懶覺也沒問題，房間裏的傢俱質感很好，洗漱用品用完，不用自己去拿，會有專門的人送到房間，特別方便。從大廳小趙的暖心幫助到客房的細節設計，每一處都讓人覺得周到，入住體驗直接拉滿！

This stay in the pool room completely exceeded expectations! The water quality of the private pool is clear and transparent, and the water temperature is comfortable. Whether it is a small afternoon play in the water or a relaxing view in the evening, it is very pleasant to take pictures at will. The layout of the room is transparent and spacious, the decoration texture is online, the bedding is soft and sleepy, the toiletries are complete and practical, and the sanitary details are full. The hotel service is intimate and thoughtful throughout the whole process, from check-in guidance to demand response are efficient and warm, the supporting meals and free drinks are also very pleasant, a proper holiday healing experience, highly recommended to everyone!

The Sofitel Residences, despite being ten years old, are still well-maintained. Having a washing machine, fridge, and induction hob makes it convenient to cook a little something. However, the hairdryer and toothbrushes could use an upgrade. The customer service staff are very well-trained. Xiao Quan at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful; hearing we wanted to stir-fry vegetables, she specifically helped us buy a wok! The hotel's location is excellent. The breakfast at the Western restaurant looks a bit dated, but the selection is quite rich. There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. Recommended!

當天到酒店時間很晚，希望安排在安靜點的樓層，當時值班的是前台小戚帥哥，看我們年紀大，主動跟我們升級配有製氧機的房間，衞生乾淨，設施齊全，窗外遠眺可觀湖景。酒店早餐也很豐富，而且餐廳服務員主動告訴我們，吃完後可以打包一點食物帶在路上吃，真是驚喜，第一回遇到酒店自助餐廳還可以隨意打包！離開酒店時前台又送兩盒氂牛酸奶和乾糧，説出去方圓百十公里的都沒有像樣的餐飲之地，以備之需，考慮太周到了！聽小戚説這個酒店是攜程旗下的，這種理念服務意識確實可贊👍必須單獨表揚前台與我們對接的小戚，對客人主動、周到、細心，重要的是他還是周邊旅遊活地圖，有什麼問題他都能詳細的回答，還能給我們一些建議及注意事項，不像有的酒店前台一問三不知。建議攜程領導要多培養和獎勵這樣的員工！讓出門在外的遊客有賓至如歸的感覺。總之，這次入住該酒店非常滿意，如果有朋友來這邊一定給推薦！
