SShevaniA beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Yycxw1314loveThe hotel is located in an underground cave. It is a real cave. Parking is very convenient at the door. Breakfast is not a buffet but a set meal per person. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the bath water is not hot, a little bit mild, and I can't wash.
Yyoli0617The hotel room was exactly as described online, and each room had a small outdoor balcony. It was a bit chilly, so we didn't get to fully enjoy it, unfortunately. 😂 If you're driving, the hotel can be a bit tricky to find, so it's best to go during the day. Otherwise, turning around if you take a wrong turn can be difficult. It's also not advisable to drive a large vehicle, as these cave rooms are built into the mountainside, making it hard for big cars to navigate. We stayed for two days, and the hot air balloons didn't fly. If they had, this would have been an absolutely stunning location! The hotel restaurant doesn't require reservations; you can just wait for a table. The hotel was cleaned very well, with no strange odors, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. They proactively helped us take our luggage to the room, which was a big plus.
YYee11We had an amazing stay at Divan Cave House! The hotel sits on a quiet hill in Göreme with beautiful panoramic views of the town and hot air balloons at sunrise. The cave rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character, blending traditional charm with modern comfort.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with balloon bookings, transfers, and local recommendations. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of fresh items served on the rooftop terrace, where you can also enjoy a perfect view of the balloons in the morning.
The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough for peace and quiet. The cave atmosphere felt truly authentic and cozy, especially in the cool October weather.
Highly recommend Divan Cave House for anyone visiting Cappadocia — it’s a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay that captures the spirit of the region perfectly.
GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. The owner, Mikai, kindly gave us a room with one of the best views and a private balcony. Even just stepping outside our room, we were greeted with breathtaking panoramic views of Cappadocia.
When our hot air balloon flight was cancelled due to the weather, Mikai went above and beyond to make sure we could fly on another day. He arranged for us to go on a less crowded day, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
His recommendations for sightseeing and cultural experiences were all excellent and truly enhanced our visit. His staff, Rahmed, checked in with us every morning during breakfast and made sure we got what we needed.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what really sets it apart is the exceptional hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely stay here again!
NNHussinWe booked 3 rooms for the 8 of us (adults, kids under 10 and an elderly). The location of the hotel was strategic, at the entrance of the Gerome city, with the eateries/shop just a walk away. The rooms were clean, everything in place, heater is working and top notch in everything. The buffet breakfast were also delicious, varieties of local food (you have to order eggs from them to be cooked) and a selection of juices and hot drinks. Even more, it has balcony that you can use to see the hot balloon in the morning or rest at night. The booking is easier with trip.com and we settled our check in and out in less than 10mins. This hotel goes a bit more in making sure their guests are comfortable and that is commendable.
GGuest UserCastle Cave Hotel was truly our first stop in Turkey, and it left us with wonderful memories! 🏨
1️⃣ The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastically introduced us to local sights and day trip itineraries, enriching our journey. 🤝
2️⃣ The breakfast buffet was amazing! 🧀🥗 There was a variety of cheeses, yogurts, and vegetables – healthy and fresh. Plus, there were many adorable cats in the courtyard 🐱; I hope the pregnant one delivers safely and healthily. 💖
3️⃣ The hotel's location is superb, very close to the hot air balloon pick-up point. The driver only takes about 8 minutes to get there, so you don't have to wake up too early – super convenient! 🎈🌅
4️⃣ Most importantly, the hotel's view! The rooftop offers an incredible vantage point with breathtaking scenery. 🌟
5️⃣ The hotel's location is also excellent. It’s a 2-minute walk to the main street, where you'll find restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream shops, ATMs, and a bus station – all the amenities you need. 🍽️☕🍦💳🚍
One thing to note is that while some rooms have windows, opening them reveals the lobby instead of an outdoor view 😂. If the view is particularly important to you, I recommend confirming with the hotel before booking. 📞
Overall, Castle Cave Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Cappadocia – it's both cozy and unforgettable. Highly recommended! 🙌
IinicalloI have visited this hotel twice, and it is highly recommended. The hotel is in the center of Goreme, and its tour package offers are cheaper compared to others.
GGuest UserThe room was very satisfying, with underfloor heating that kept it warm no matter how cold it was outside. It was genuinely carved out of a cave, not a later construction.
The hotel itself is quite large, especially since it has its own restaurant. The food was very much to Chinese taste; it was the best chicken and beef rice I had in Turkey.
The only minor issue is that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water. I asked the staff for two bottles, and they charged me for them upon checkout. I'm okay with paying, but I'm not okay with them not mentioning it at the time and only bringing it up during checkout. Plus, I think providing daily drinking water for guests is something a hotel should do. I'd still rate it a 9.5; overall, I'm quite happy with my stay.
AAyshanWhen I arrived, unfortunately, my room was not cleaned and ready even though it was after the check-in time, so I had to wait a little while.
Other than that, everything else was wonderful. The location is perfect, the view from the terrace is amazing, and watching the balloons at sunrise was such a memorable experience. A special thanks to Edip from the staff, he was very helpful and offered me great deals for the hot air balloon ride and the Turkish night.
Overall, despite the small inconvenience at check-in, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for its location, views, and friendly staff.
