Pet Friendly Hotels in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia

We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

Excellent! The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is very helpful. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the location is fantastic, right across from Lake Baikal. It has two buildings, a main building and an annex. You can still catch a glimpse of Lake Baikal from the annex as well.

When I went to Lake Baikal, I booked another night on the return trip. I wanted to book a business room for two days before, but it was fully booked, so I had to choose an older standard room instead. The business room is much better and larger overall than the standard room, and seems to be more popular. Overall, it was good. The front desk even allowed me to check out at 1 PM, which was convenient for my travels.

The hotel was disappointing. Noise: You can hear everything going on in the hallway and in the neighbors' rooms. Breakfast: Chaotic organization, so-so food, and they charge children as much as adults for a child's stay. Rooms: Loose toilet, non-working Wi-Fi, insufficient toiletries (they gave two for three people), and dirty towels. I recommend the hotel inspect the rooms before check-in and train the staff on guest relations.

The room was clean and odorless, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the hot water was stable. The staff is friendly, responsive, the location is excellent, the price is super high, and the overall stay experience is beyond expectations.

I really liked the hotel. The friendly and attentive receptionist, Diana, was always ready to help with any questions. She's a wonderful host, kind and responsive. I had room 15, and the view was simply magnificent, with mountains on both sides, right down to Lake Baikal. The balcony adjoins room 14, but that didn't bother me at all as the balcony itself is large. Breakfasts are made with fresh ingredients, prepared by a chef every morning. I was especially pleased that my preferences were taken into account during my stay (I don't eat meat). The location is convenient. It's quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the embankment, market, wheel, and seal aquarium (3-4 minutes' walk). The Great Baikal Trail is also within walking distance (7 minutes from the ped center). I can imagine how beautiful it is here in the summer. I'll definitely be back. The room is very big! The breakfast is also delicious! But because we wore the bathrobe from our friend's room back to our room, our room was cleaned the next day, and the bathrobe that was missing from our friend's room was probably taken away by the aunt, and then the hotel suspected that we stole the bathrobe... It took a long time to argue! Because we had to catch up with the next trip, it was a good time to spend money to avoid disaster during the Chinese New Year! Fortunately, Ctrip's customer service is reliable! ! They solved it for us online quickly!
