The room was located at the 5th floor without elevator, it discourages as to go somewhere when we are already at the room. Lack of toiletries, there was no dental kits. The bathroom is a bath tub style that do not automatically drain, the reason we can't take a bath because the water just stocked there all the night. We called the management 3 times and waited for hours to fix the problem.

First time at Citadines Iloilo. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the location is top-tier — right in the heart of downtown Iloilo. The resto-bar on the second floor is great, and the staff there showed the kind of warm Ilonggo hospitality we’re all proud of. I commend the step to help the environment. Their is a refiling jar of water inside the room, DBest! But since this was my first stay, there were a few things I really noticed: 1. I booked specifically requesting a single bed. I was given a room with two beds instead. 2. I also requested a quiet room, yet I was placed on the same floor as the swimming pool — and that night there was a big party going on until 9 PM. 3. I didn’t expect a fancy view since I booked a lower-priced room, but natural light is a basic comfort. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even open my curtains because people outside, from the pool, could directly see into my room. 4. And the worst part: while I was resting, another guest opened my room with their key card. Absolutely not okay. I understand the hotel was fully booked, but that shouldn’t be used as an excuse. Front desk staff should still be trained to handle guest requests properly and ensure room safety — especially safety. Should a guest really have to pray the hotel isn’t full just to avoid these issues? Despite everything, I’m willing to give them another try. I know they can do better — and I hope the next stay reflects the level of service Citadines is known for.

The hotel has a great facility. Staffs are friendly. I really appreciate the hotel service for free. I suggest that the hotel needs to look for transportation access for its clients since it was quite far from the downtown.

Staffs are very accommodating. They allow us to leave our luggages and belonging while wating for us to check in. This hotel are perfect for those who wants a peaceful vibes. 2-3minutes walking to the beach, they have a pathway going to beach. Their swimming pool is clean and the water is warm. Overall my friends and I enjoyed so much. I highly recommended this place.

Fantastic location at station 1 and a good hotel. We would not class it as a five star hotel, more like a four star. We would not recommend the breakfasts, plenty of better places closer, it is not a buffet style and the food presentation can be poor. No hot water during our whole visit (warm at best). The staff at times are friendly but not as good as other five star hotels that we have stopped in. The spa treatments were very good, the gym was basic and had poor lighting.

On my previous review, I mentioned some of the drawback regarding this hotel. On my recent stay, they have managed to turn things around and made my whole stay an enjoyable one. The staffs were proactive in asking if I need any assistance. The room is clean and spacious and they had more variety of foods for their buffet breakfast. I would most likely stay here again.

Honestly great value! I had a very good stay, rooms are clean and cozy. They also have pool, altho i didnt use but looked very decent. Located right near station 3, i think its more chill and not as loud as station 1, which is good. However i would not count on breakfast, as its literally eggs and a toast.

We stayed there from 12 Sept to 16 Sept and it was a great experience. First the hotel's location is very practical as it is between the White beach and bulabog beach and surrounded with stores and restos. The room experience is 10/10 as during our stay we experienced a storm and multiple times the electricity has been cut-off but in just few seconds the generator started. Kudos to thats. The internet connections is very decent. The room is clean and housekeeping frequently can be found on the floor ready to render any help and to be ask to clean our room. The swimming area is decent just need a little bit cleaning of the pool. The hotel's resto is very good, food is delicious and in good portion. Hotel's resto is very accommodating. The only comment is that if it is not possible to have a buffet breakfast atleast add more breakfast menus to have more options but other than that the food is great. And lastly special mention to Ms. Shar of front desk, she has a very welcoming aura, always smiling and very accommodating even though we are just passing through the front desk we always seeing her smile and she is very jolly. Overall the stay is great and will certainly book again to Ferra. Thanks to all the hotels staff.

DDar PoliskiAbout Wald’s Place Hotel (Boracay) Location: Situated in Station 2, Balabag, Boracay—just a short stroll (4–5 minutes) from White Beach, D’Mall, and other local attractions. Facilities & Features: Property size: 18 rooms across 4 levels, built around 2014. Offers free Wi-Fi in rooms, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, communal kitchen, and common amenities like a vending machine, TV in the lobby, and conference space (~70 m²). Breakfast is available for a fee, typically cooked-to-order. Some sources mention additional features like a seasonal outdoor pool, spa/wellness facilities including a Turkish bath, steam room, and fitness center. (Note: these amenities aren’t consistently listed elsewhere and may not reflect current offerings.) Room Types & Pricing: Room types include: Basic Quadruple Room (2 Double Beds) – sleeps 4 Standard Single Room (1 Double Bed) Deluxe Quadruple Room (1 Double Bunk Bed) As of July 2025, prices start around ₱1,205 per night (excluding taxes/fees). Guest Reviews & Ratings: The hotel’s rating on ******* is notably low—2.0 out of 10, also described as 2/10 “Terrible” in its reviews. Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.

AAleksandr P.We returned to this hotel again from Gigantes Island and stayed for another 3 days. We were satisfied with everything, the only bad thing was that there were strong low tides in the sea. The staff is very responsive and attentive. There is shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper and bottled water in the room, the breakfast is very filling and tasty.

JJohn AlombroLoved Every Minute at Ferra Premier — Total Boracay Vibes! Okay, let me just say… Ferra Premier by JG nailed it. This place is seriously a hidden gem! Tucked away just enough from the busy Boracay crowd, but still super close to the beach, restos, and shops—like, a 5-minute chill walk and you’re at White Beach. The staff? Absolutely the sweetest. They treat you like family from the second you check in. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and just genuinely kind. You can tell they actually care that you're having a good time. Our room was clean, cozy, and stylish. The bed was comfy, the AC was nice too. Bonus points for the little details—like welcome drinks and nice-smelling toiletries. And yo, the rooftop bar and restaurant? Big win. Great vibes, tasty food, and perfect for that golden hour chill with cocktails in hand. Breakfast every morning was also solid—plenty of choices and very filling. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. If you want a more personal, boutique hotel experience that still gives you full-on island vacay feels, Ferra Premier is it. 10/10 would stay again.

NNicethorI absolutely loved staying at this hotel! It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a tranquil sanctuary perfect for spiritual rejuvenation and quiet reflection. The serene atmosphere makes it ideal for prayer and reconnecting with inner peace. What truly impressed me was the staff’s attentiveness: they went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. For instance, when I needed a stronger Wi-Fi connection, they promptly provided a router directly to my room upon request—a small but thoughtful gesture that made a big difference. If you’re seeking a peaceful retreat that blends modern convenience with a spiritually uplifting environment, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It’s a rare gem for both relaxation and practical needs.
