Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5.
The room itself was decentâclean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety.
What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, âI have other customer,â in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude.
This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

This new space in Cebu is a nice place to stay if you want to be near IT Park. Itâs just a walking distance to the malls and the famous Sugbo Mercado. I donât have a photo of my room but it doesnât have a fridge and a TV. Which is understandable for the price. They have restaurants, cafe, pool, and even 7-11 outside. So it is really convenient. They also offer buffet on the rooftop for around 699php.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Savoy. The staff are very accommodating, the room is clean as well as the surroundings. Fast food/ stalls (jollibee, mcdo, 7eleven, starbucks, etc.) are also very accessible.

It's a budget hotel with good amenities.
The front desk is strangely located at the second floor and not at the main building entrance. It was good though. It was relatively small but it was clean and presentable with some decor. The receptionist was nice and courteous as she did her best to give us what we requested (a quiet room for someone who came from a long and tiring motor ride). When we came inside the room, it was a bit smaller than what you usually have with other hotels but mind you, their bed was so comfortable and soft with nice pillows and duvet covers. Ventilation was also good. They also have a huge aesthetic ceiling fan guests can use. The faucet and shower have hot and cold options. There's TV and safety deposit box too. It was indeed a nice comfy stay.

This hotel is very convenient, located only about 20 minutes from the airport, which makes it perfect before a flight. It is a large property, yet it remains surprisingly peaceful. The staff are truly lovely and welcoming.
The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you might need. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast, which offers a great selection.
We spent a fun evening at the Sports Bar â my children really enjoyed all the activities available. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the prices there were quite high.
Aside from that, the view from the pool is stunning, and there is a pleasant small beach to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay before catching our flight.
Our stay at Bohol Beach Club was an absolute dream, a perfect blend of swaying palm trees and pristine white sands! We stayed in a beachfront villa suite, and from our terrace, we had an uninterrupted view of the towering coconut trees, standing like elegant sentinels stretching endlessly along the coastline. They not only formed a stunning tropical tableau but also provided refreshing shade from the scorching sun. Lying in a hammock or on a beach chair, listening to the rustle of the coconut leaves in the sea breeze, was the unique, soothing soundtrack of this place. The fine, soft white sand was a delight to walk on barefoot, transitioning from warm to cool with every step. The beach gently sloped into the clear, emerald-green waters, creating a natural shallow area that was safe and perfect for children to play and for beginners to snorkel. If you're looking for that classic, quintessential island paradise â swaying palms, immaculate white sand, and crystal-clear water â Bohol Beach Club is the epitome of that postcard-perfect scene. We will definitely return for more memories of this coconut breeze and white sand!

This hotel is even better than some more expensive hotels nearby, especially for less than 1,000 PHP a night. It's incredibly good value for money. The room was spacious and all transactions were smooth. This will definitely be my first choice when I return to Cebu.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service is also top-notch, and every staff member is very enthusiastic. However, there are a few drawbacks: the bathroom is tiny, the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great, and the breakfast selection is quite limited. If these issues were improved, it would easily be a five-star hotel.

AAlena_SokolovaWe never thought that for such a price, we could get such a clean, hospitable place with a pool and excellent staff. We loved it!
GGuest UserThe hotel name sounds fancy, but personally, I think it's more like a guesthouse or hostel. It's located in an alley off the main road leading to Alona Beach, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy, close access to the beach. I was really pleased with the great value for money and the simple, clean environment; the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious. The downsides are that you need to bring your own toiletries, the water pressure for showering isn't strong enough, and there was a brief power outage once that led to the water being cut off. Overall, it was still a pretty good stay! đ
MMargaretPerry11/10. Been booking with Diane for quite some time, my partner and I. This has been our favorite hotel in Cebu, and we are gatekeeping it lol
But in our recent stay, I feel like we were not supposed to have the correct room that we're supposed to get, but not really sure about it. I booked a Superior Room with a City view so we can watch some fireworks during Christmas Eve, but when we came into the room, the window was a small one, and when we tried to open the window, we could only see equipment outside blocking the window and the view; the window was forced to just open maybe just 5 inches and that's it. I don't know what City View I was supposed to see. Overall, that's just my only concern. The girl from the reception wearing white did not seem happy (those that are in green uniforms are fine, I love them and those in the dining area even in the rooftop - but the girl in the reception that day idk whats with her) when giving us the room key, she was smiling a little bit, but I could feel she wanted us to just go and disappear in front of her.
Overall, we just brush it off and moved on with our day and enjoyed the view from that little window and the from the rooftop. We still love Diane's and will still keep recommending this to our friends and family ofcourse. 11/10.
CCayucosAn otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel itâs worth knowing the following:
1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is âprivateâ or not is at the discretion of the third party
2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you.
This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldnât personally recommend this place to family or friends.
GGuest UserStayed at the hotel for three nights, the hotel is very new, although small but the facilities are very good, facing the beach and the sea (although it is black sand beach). Breakfast is delicious, if you don't have time to eat, you can ask the hotel to prepare a sandwich. I have eaten a few meals at the hotel, but it is more expensive than the outside, but it is recommended. The hotel also has a horse to kill the chicken, but there is no special room. It is made on the beach chair by the pool. The price is more expensive than the outside, but the experience is Not bad. The only bad thing is that the hotel location is cheaper. Come in and take a bad road. We were also found on Google Maps. It would be a bit painful to take the baggage. The hotel is 20 kilometers away from the city, it is more troublesome to go out, you can sit on the yellow bus is very cheap. It is recommended that people who like a quiet holiday come, otherwise it is better to live in the city. The chickens in the house next to the hotel like to call in the middle of the night. If the room is close, it will be a bit noisy.
KKuailededadadadabaibaicaiA great place to watch the sunset. The room was quite large but the facilities were sparse, not even a sofa. The waiters were friendly, except for one strong, female employee who had a bad attitude. Getting around wasn't particularly convenient; there were no cars at the door, and it was difficult to get a taxi online. Walking to Belfort would be better. The hotel restaurant was a good option for dining, and the food was delicious. There are many restaurants in the Modara Commercial Plaza in front, and there's also a Filipino restaurant next to Belfort. The environment is beautiful, and the beach is nice. Overall, except for that waiter, everything else matched the price.
KkimposssibleWe had such a great time staying at NorthVille Beach Resort! The location is super convenientâjust a short walk from the port, which helped us save on transportation costs. The resort staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with cold and quiet air conditioning that made our stay extra comfortable. Weâre definitely looking forward to coming back!
JJulianDA lovely relaxed stay. Acacia is in a great location, away from Alona beach but only 10 mins on a bike. The public area has a small pool, and a place to cook, with a fridge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. I would recommend Acacia highly.
ĐĐŃĐŽĐŒĐžĐ»Đ°@We stayed for three days, I don't even know how to describe it correctly, the location is very beautiful, cozy! But the room, of course đ€, no kettle, no glasses, dirty, one large towel, sockets did not work, no Wi-Fi in the room, in general, we finished our stay, although we initially thought to extend it, we definitely don't want to go back there(((
GGuest UserWhat an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasnât great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places weâve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you
