We stayed here last Holy Week 2024 for 2 nights. The location is good and easy to find. The restaurant needs a bit of improvement when it comes to tables and chairs and the ambiance and also the food choices. There were no pastries and cakes and no other coffee choices.They only have brewed which didn’t taste good. The room was nice and huge including the bathroom but it needs brighter lighting. Overall it was a good stay but it’s not really place to be going back to. We just tried it.

The place looks' good, lots of trees, fresh air and clean room that fits a family of four. But with great place comes the great walk up and down the stairs.....hahaha not for the old age Lolos' and lolas' who can barely walk. But, overall we enjoyed our 22 hour stay. Overall, it was a great experience. The amenities were amazing — lots of activities to enjoy, whether you're into relaxing or staying active. You definitely won’t run out of things to do! The food was delicious, and the staff were all so kind and accommodating. They even granted our request for a room with a stunning view of Taal Volcano — waking up to that scenery was truly unforgettable. Cleanliness was good, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. There’s a little room for improvement, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food, fun activities, and breathtaking views, I highly recommend Canyon Woods!

This property is a wonderful retreat for anyone looking to relax in a clean, quiet environment. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and attentive. While the location is a bit of a trek for commuters requiring a short walk or a quick trike/motorcycle ride to reach local attractions, there are excellent dining options nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff are very friendly, and the room is clean with strong air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. There’s also plenty of parking available. However, the bidet needs replacing, and the breakfast buffet has a limited selection. The food we tried lacked flavor, which was disappointing. This is our second stay, and we had hoped the food would have improved, but unfortunately, it hasn’t. That said, we would still return here when we need a place to relax and reset from work.

The food was delicious with a great variety, and everything was well prepared. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help, which really made the experience even better. The amenities were excellent, well maintained, and added a lot of comfort to the stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, and a nice buffet. 💯 We had a great two days at this hotel. The food at their Emerald Cafë and Kimsuy Chinese restaurant, was excellent. The employees were really kind and helpful. The drawback is that the hotel is two decades old, and some of its components are degrading. Perhaps renovations will restore the hotel's magnificent facade and make it seem like it used to. Over all we appreciate the staff, and the room rate it was very reasonable for a suite.💖

Our stay was generally good, and we truly enjoyed the facilities and activities offered by the hotel. There was plenty to do, and it made our overall experience fun and memorable. However, when we first entered the room, there was a noticeable smell on the bed that seemed like dog urine, which was unpleasant. Thankfully, when we reported it, the staff responded immediately and changed the beddings right away. We really appreciate their prompt action and professionalism. After that concern was addressed, everything felt comfortable. Overall, while the initial issue was disappointing, the staff handled it well, and we still had an enjoyable stay.

First time to visit a resort and beach in Batangas, and I must say that Altamare exceeded my expectations. I love the activities you can do, though it is limited, but still worth it. The vibe of being so peaceful and calm, since it is away from the noise, is the best thing of this resort. The services and foods are very good. You just need to be prepared of the stairs, it is very challenging! Overall it was really really good experience.
