The season I came here is the end of spring and the beginning of summer. This season, the starry sky is very beautiful. We drove from the mountain to the accommodation. The environment on the road without light damage is even more beautiful. There are some lights in the hotel, but you can still see a good starry sky.

Exceptionally clean, lots of little perks you would expect in a high rated hotel. It is a small place and you can hear your neighbours if they are noisy but most places are like this. It is cosy and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Gail is lovely and looks after your every need. Beautiful outlook, different areas outside. It is not far from township and from what I hear of others that stayed in town we got the winner. Value for dollar is exceptional. One of the restaurants/bars in town has a courtesy van you can get picked up and returned if you using their establishment, so there is no issue with transport if you need it though we didn't utilise. Friendly dog and cat, great bird life, has a couple of friendly weka who came to say hello. Cicaders and birds to listen to as you maybe have a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sky. It was a place that felt warm. It's a dormitory, but it's a mixture of beds on the first floor. I was happy that the cat teacher greeted me.

The hotel is near the water fountain scenic spot, the surrounding environment is beautiful, all are cabins, the rooms are clean and spacious, fully equipped, and there is a kitchenette. The hotel has a restaurant with a wide variety and good taste.

In the town of hokitika on the west coast of New Zealand, very close to the Firefly Valley, the grasshopper needs a few minutes walk. In addition, the hokitika valley is also worth going, the water is blue and clear and bright. A little better in New Zealand, the attractions are basically free. Basic accommodation that ticks all the boxes, comfortable bed, nice hot shower, decent sized TV with SkyTV and well appointed kitchen for a cooked dinner and breakfast. 5 minutes walk to NewWorld and town.

The room was quite nice, with a large lawn in front and a supermarket nearby, though it was a bit small and had limited stock. Parking was available in front, but the glacier viewpoint next door was mostly obscured by rain and clouds, which was a bit of a disappointment.

The hotel is very close to the free glowworm caves, and it is very convenient to cook. The location is very good, in the very center of the earthquake. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was a very good night.
