Pet Friendly Hotels in Gandaki, Nepal

I took the cable car to Sarankot, it was a great experience. I had the carriage all to myself. I must say the staff were wonderful.. From the driver who picked me up at my hotel to the ticket staff, the boarding staff and exit staff I would recommend this to everyone going to Sarankot. I stayed at The high Ground Hotel, it was basic, cheap (£12.00 per night) which included breakfast My room was excellent and I had a nice view of lakeside from my small balcony The room and private bathroom was was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and very attentive. Dinner was great, I tried sadako for the first time, I really enjoyed it after the initial shock of how spicy it was. The only downside was the weather. It was very misty, so I didn't see the Annapurna Mountains at sunset. The morning was also misty however I did see the mountain a, even if it wasn't clear.

An excellently located guest house. Just off the main road in central Lakeside yet so calm and peaceful. Quite unbelievable really. Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms and 2 min walk to the best section of the lake in this area. Pratigya, one of the owners, helped me decide what trekking route to take and recommended some cool extra sections that turned out to be big highlights for me. She helped, advised and booked everything from buses, permits, taxis and masseuses and made sure I had her number for in case I ran into problems on my trek. As a solo female traveler this was extremely comforting. When I come back to do one of the treks that can only be done with a guide I will be contacting her and her husband. I highly recommend Yeti guest house and especially the owners / hosts.

I think the staff are generally all kind. The hotel is located just down a small street, so it was quiet at night. You could see the beautiful Machapuchare from the rooftop! The only thing that was disappointing was that check-out time was said to be 12pm, even though trip.com said it was 1pm. Please update the posted times. As someone who works according to Japanese time, check-in and check-out times are very important to me.

The room is relatively clean The boss is very enthusiastic Bathing facilities are relatively new However, the door is still used in the traditional lock key, but this is not convenient to plug in the card to charge.

My second stay here. Boss was flexible, lovely and very helpful. It’s about 8 mins walk to the lakeside and 20 mins to the tourist bus stop. However, biggest downside is that there’s no hot water for this chilly winter weather, I tried for both the morning and evening and there was no water hence I didn’t get to have a proper shower.

Friendly and polite staff, clean hotel, eco friendly concept, quiet location, awesome breakfast, loved the tea in room. I was even upgraded to a larger room.

Very nice place a little expensive the restaurant below but good location near better restaurants

The room was very good, The staff and receptionist were very good in nature and provided nice Service to us. The locality of the hotel was very good. The hotel and the rooms were very hygienic. The views from the hotel room was awesome. The room was value for money.

Service is intimate, good enthusiasm, back to the hotel room at night, there will be staff to take the flashlight all the way to help follow the road. Put a bottle of fresh milk every morning in front of the door will come again

Location is excellent and staffs are very helpful and friendly!
