A very clean hotel in the center of Thessaloniki. It is at walking distance for strolling along the docks and shopping at the shops, and this is a very important comfort because it is very difficult to find a car park. The hotel does not have a parking lot, but there is plenty of parking nearby and there is a valet service, albeit for a fee.
The reception staff are very friendly and attentive. They are very helpful, even though I don't speak Greek or English. We got along with their body language.
Our room was small, facing the back, but we were comfortable. There was always hot water in the shower. I liked the shampoo and conditioner. We walked around during the day and used it to sleep at night, so it wasn't too tight.
It was within walking distance of the house where Atatürk was born.
Breakfast is open buffet; The baked goods and jam are delicious.
If I go again, I will definitely stay at the city hotel, and I recommend it to you too.

This is absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, by the sea, great restaurants, all the attractions few minutes walking away. On top of that the service was great from the reception. But just make sure you visit the main hotel about 2-3 mins walking distance to get your key & door code.

It states that check-in hours are until 24:00, but the counter is only open until 21:00.
I completely missed it and almost missed checking in. (Password required to enter)
I couldn't have reached the hotel without a kind Turkish man opening the door for me.
When I checked out, there was no one at the counter, so I didn't have to speak face-to-face.
Also, I felt that the room was not cleaned properly. It looks like the floor is dusty.

The front desk staff is amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Our room was so clean & creatively designed. My kids LOVED it! Area is super convenient, walkable to everywhere. I would probably stay here next time I visit as well

Location was close to the station and the staff was friendly.
However, there was a construction site in front of the room, and there were a lot of birds around, so when I opened the window, there was a bit of a fishy smell.

Δεν έχω ξανασυναντήσει τόσο ευγενικό προσωπικό, όλοι με το χαμόγελο σε εξυπηρετήσουν σε ότι ζητήσεις !! Μας κάνανε έκπληξη για την επέτειο του γάμου μας με τούρτα και κεράκι μας συγκίνησαν πολύ !! Τους ευχαριστώ όλους από καρδιάς !!
Ευχαριστώ πολύ την κα Ελβίρα (ίσως κάνω λάθος το ονομα της) στις κρατησεις που με βοήθησε πολύ ώστε να κλείσω το δωμάτιο με διαβεβαίωσε ότι όλα είναι όπως τα λέει το trip.com και τελικά πήρα την απόφαση να το κλείσω !! Την κα Μαρία στη reception ευγενεστατη και χαμογελαστή πάντα!!! Την κα Ευαγγελία υπεύθυνη δημοσίων σχέσεων γλυκύτατη ευγενεστατη να μας ενημερώσει για το κάθε τι που μας ενδιαφέρει!! Την κα Γεωργία maitre της τραπεζαρίας ότι ζητούσες το είχες αμέσως !! Την κα Φανή φοβερή γλυκύτατη με τα τέλεια αβγά της και pancakes,, μου τα έφτιαχνε τα αβγά ακριβώς όπως τα ζητούσα!!
Πολλά συγχαρητήρια σε όλο το προσωπικό μας έχουν σκλαβώσει !!
Όσον αφορά το ξενοδοχείο μπορεί όντως να χρειάζεται κάποιες μικρές επιδιορθώσεις αλλά δεν μένω εκεί γιατί όλα τα άλλα ήταν τέλεια !! Τα δωμάτια καθαρά και τακτοποιημένα, οι εξωτερικοί χώροι όλοι τακτοποιημένοι, πισίνες μεγάλες και καθαρές, ωραία παραλία με ξαπλώστρες του ξενοδοχείου χωρίς επιβάρυνση!!

GGuest UserDas Hotel wird aufgrund seiner exzellenten Lage in der Nähe des Flughafens von Thessaloniki SKG, meist von Durchreisenden gebucht. Zu diesem Zweck ist das Hotel Ambassador meines Erachtens nach, bestens geeignet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig vor allem aber sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist üppig und lässt fast keine Wünsche übrig. Der Swimmingpool des Hotels gehört insbesondere in den Sommermonaten zu den Highlights des Aufenthalts. Kinder, Jugendliche und jung gebliebene Erwachsene kommen in dem sehr gut geschnittenen Open Air Swimmingpool, mit Sicherheit auf deren Kosten. Autos können auf dem Parkplatz des Hotels kostenlos parken. Fazit: Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert insbesondere für durchreisende Gäste. Wer auf Luxus verzichten kann, ohne Sauberkeit und Komfort vernachlässigen zu wollen, ist meines Erachtens nach, hier gold richtig.
