Pet Friendly Hotels in Normandy, France

The hotel is on a small hillside and you can see the magnificent English Channel, very beautiful! You have to take the stairs to enter the room, but the waiter will help with luggage. The room decoration is more retro and feels special. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Elephant Trunk Hill Beach, which is very convenient. The seafood restaurant on the beach is very cost-effective and worth tasting.

If you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley. Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!! We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us. Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady. Just go. Dont hesitate.

A perfect hotel, reminiscent of the Etap of old but a much better standard. Everything perfect at a bargain price. We will stay again next year to explore Caen better.

Well maintained hotel, warm welcome, good breakfast, good service

Since it is self-check-in, it is very convenient because you can enter the room at your own timing and check out. It was good that there were amenities.

The hotel is a private house located in the center of the town with private parking. It is very convenient to walk to the surrounding attractions. The garden is quiet, the interior is beautifully decorated, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with a balcony, sanitation is in place, and there is plenty of storage space. The host couple and staff are warm, the cooking is superb, and the dinner and breakfast are very exquisite and delicious. Suitable for couples or small families on vacation.

The photos on the site are very old and weakly clean and are not matching.

Hotel is good, the proprietress is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is eaten in the bar next door. It seems to be the same boss. The room is clean and easy to enter. If you can live for a few more days, it is better to let the landlord help rent a bicycle.
