The hotel is located in the middle of the city and is still well reached. The ideal starting point for all businesses. Unfortunately no parking facilities outside the deep garage and the daily fee there is unfortunately € 20 per day.

Breakfast is worthy of praise 👍 The first picture of the hotel, the castle photo is deceptive. It is a castle on a mountaintop a few kilometers away from the hotel. It is almost invisible from the hotel.

The room is a standard double room, very clean! There is a big park outside the hotel, and it is great to take a walk and enjoy the scenery! It takes more than 10 minutes to walk from the city center, and through the big park is the city center. The ground in the city center is paved with stones, which is quite simple and elegant. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when you come to Weimar

The hotel itself, and the staff are excellent. All clean, people very friendly and operate efficiently and without waiting times. The food is cheap, portions (too) large, tastes good, but it does not come to the high kitchen of a Michelin star level. Unfortunately, the hotel's garage was already occupied, so I had to stop my car at the public at the post (with a car 250m, walking well 50m), but it is also easy.

The hotel is a little far away from downtown Weimar, but there is a bus at the door, and there is convenient ground parking for self-driving. The hotel is a bit old, but it has a balcony and you can see the lush forest. There is no hotel breakfast this time because there are too many delicious restaurants in the small town of Weimar. Weimar is really great, not too noisy, highly recommended The front desk service of the hotel is super patient and friendly. The swimming pool is also highly recommended. The hotel is very cost-effective. Also, the local potato balls are the best I have ever tasted in Germany, and the fresh mushrooms in the forest are invincible.

When they saw our instruments and learned that we are to study music in Weimar, we were surprised to be deprived: the city tax was relieved and the room was upgraded free of charge. This attention and appreciation has made us very happy and enriched our stay substantially. A really lovely hotel – at the next Weimar visit we will certainly come back!
