I had a really comfortable stay at IntercityHotel Berlin Airport Area North. The location is perfect if you’re traveling through Berlin, it’s only a few minutes away and very convenient. The hotel is clean, quiet, and modern, which made my short stay really smooth.
The room was well-kept, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and tidy.
The train station is close by, so getting into the city is simple, and the walk around the neighborhood is quite calm if you just want a morning stroll. Overall, it’s an ideal hotel for travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and a stress-free experience near the airport. I would definitely stay here again!
The room was average, just OK. It was quite dusty due to the black furniture. The most important thing was that my 50 Euro deposit has not been returned to my card yet, and I don't know who to ask for the money.
The hotel is conveniently close to the BER T1 entrance hall.
We arrive by train for the night to catch a flight next early morning. Walking distance is below 5 min.
Out room was exceptionally clean, looks very modern and had - to my surprise - excellent soundproofing.
Also the bathroom and shower were very clean.
From the noise of the airplanes is very few to hear. We
Also very clean was the spa/sauna area.
It's a mixed sauna and open til 22:00.
Restaurant is in the hotel, a 24/7 Rewe supermarket in the BER entrance hall.
Great stay for one night.
I got off the train took the elevator up stepped outside the terminal and saw already the bright entrance of intercity Hotel Berlin AirPort. What else could you wish for with two huge and heavy pieces of luggage, it can’t be better than that. Very convenient to stay if you have an early flight or want a super relaxed start the next day.
Room was clean and tidy, seems still very new. Nothing to complain about 😎👍🏼
It was nice to stay here. Good and pleasant hotel. The only thing I was charged twice, one time by trip.com and hotel. So multiply your amount *2 and enjoy your stay)))
Super convenient for a quick overnight stay, close to airport. Shuttle service available for 3.50€ from hotel to airport. Cosy and homely feels.. free coffee and soft drinks available at lobby. 👍🏼
Very helpful staff at the reception, who also help on the phone! This is how I received, for example, a water cooker on request and the information I needed. Since I had to do in the area, the location was ideal for me. There are few free parking places around the hotel, so it is better to book a parking place there, if necessary in the deep garage.
We recently booked four rooms at this hotel in Berlin. To our disappointment, we were informed upon arrival that early check-in would cost a surcharge of 50% of the room rate, while we had never been informed of this by telephone in advance. We called three times and were not told about these additional charges during each call. After a long journey of 7 hours from Rotterdam, this was an unpleasant surprise. In addition, an additional charge was requested for everything. We request the management to communicate more transparently about such charges!!
The hotel is super located: walking to the Park Sanssouci, to the DB train station and to the bus stop. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Breakfast for 14 euros is rich.
The parking is short (deep garage and parking places before and behind the house; cost 8 Euro per night). Then there is also a shortage of room at breakfast if the majority wants to breakfast at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The service is effortful and friendly.
Apartment was very nice and tidy. It had so many nice amenities in the room and I loved the TV was able to face the bed! Check in and check out services was really easy and smooth, all digital.
The hotel's location is a 5 to 20-minute walk from the bus stop (depending on which bus you took), with buses running every 30 minutes to berlin airport. It's approximately one hour from Berlin Central Station from the Berlin Airport.
A key point to note is that the main entrance door locks after ~10 PM, and there is no night staff. We discovered this the hard way one evening and panicked. We later found out that you must use the hotel's website app (the same one used for check-in) to unlock the door. There is a ”front door” button in the app that triggers the lock.
This was not immediately obvious, as we saw another traveler struggling with the same issue. I highly recommend setting up the app beforehand, as checking in late at night without it would be very difficult.
