That hotel is really good. How do you feel about it? If you can't book the best hotel in Murman across the street, this hotel is still a good choice. The location is very good. There is the northernmost McDonald's next to it. Aurora hunters basically start from this place.
The hotel is very clean and the facilities are new. The location isn't the absolute best, but it's quite convenient. There's a supermarket not far from the hotel entrance, and restaurants nearby as well. Taking a taxi to the Lenin Icebreaker is less than 200 rubles. Walking to the famous McDonald's takes about 25 minutes.
There are 3 beds in a double room. Everything is very ascetic. The building looks like it used to be a hostel, when I arrived there was renovation on the 1st floor. There is no elevator, it is unlikely to be convenient to go up the stairs with a suitcase. Despite the fine of 5000 rubles, there is a strong smell of fish in the kitchen.
The showers and toilets are clean.
At the reception they are ready to offer an umbrella if it suddenly rains outside, and the weather in Murmansk is very capricious. The staff is very friendly, they will write to you more than once on the day of arrival to clarify the time of arrival and other information.
What to expect from a hotel next to the Arctic Circle?
Although there is no expectation, this hotel is indeed a bit beyond expectations. Clean and tidy, the heating is very powerful, basically exceeding the hotel experience we stayed in Moscow. The restaurant downstairs is also quite good, and the blue war has not come to punch the card. The only problem is that the young lady at the front desk will be a little bit unkind if you think your English is not very good.
The location is convenient between the old and new. Because it is a must-pass section in the middle, although it is very quiet at night, there are occasional cars passing by a little sound.
My location is very central, close to the Northernmost MCD and several popular restaurants. Overall, the value is excellent, but there are a few things to complain about. The curtains on the beds don't cover the area.
If the receptionist is introverted, he or she can choose not to be a receptionist. Leave it to someone who is suitable for this position. There is no need to occupy the toilet without doing anything. It is not your fault. Everyone has different personalities. This is normal, but you are not suitable for this position. If your service attitude is half as good as the front desk staff at this hotel, I would not write this review (the attitude of the front desk staff at the gym is really a plus). However, the positioning of this hotel is It is just a business hotel. Even if it is the best hotel in the city, the service attitude is not as good as that of Home Inn in China. I recommend this hotel to all friends who come to Murmansk. If you want a better room, you can stay in this hotel. However, if you want better service, I suggest you stay at the Meridian Hotel opposite our hotel. The service attitude is excellent (the room facilities are not as good as this one), or look for other hotels. This hotel costs more than 1,000 yuan per night during peak hours. Poor service attitude and low service efficiency (it took more than an hour to deliver two bottles of water to the room, and I urged them twice). Why bother...
Overall, everything was fine. The room was comfortable and fairly clean (minor issues like dust, a film on the bathroom sink, and some worn-out plumbing). The bed linens were very clean and fresh, and they provided an extra blanket upon request. The bath towels and sashes on the robes were worn, but very clean. The in-room safe didn't work, but I didn't have time to investigate, though it might be important to someone.
There's only one table in the room, so there's no room for two to sit and relax.
There's a great souvenir corner by the reception with reasonable prices.
Breakfast was okay, but the selection was limited. There was no porridge made with water.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location is excellent, centrally located, close to everything, and the price was better than the Azimut or Meridian.
Thank you for a pleasant stay from January 7-11, 2024.
There are two beds in one room, a bit like a bed with a desk underneath. There is a small window on the second floor. It is great to see the snow. The room is small but clean. You need to go to the front desk to get your toothbrush and slippers. There are none in the room. The front desk can handle the residence permit. The hotel Wi-Fi Chinese number cannot connect. This is really annoying. The water quality in Murmansk is very poor. Bring a few more tissues to filter it. The bathroom has a bathtub! There are two convenience stores and a fried ** across the street. The bus stop is right at the door. It is very convenient. Take the bus from the airport to the nearby bus stop and walk about one kilometer. McDonald's, the train station, and Lenin can all be reached by bus for 50 rubles. Alyosha is a little far away. Take the bus to the halfway point of the mountain and climb up.

MM14305****The hotel is very good, I saw the aurora for two nights.
I was afraid that I could not see the aurora when I landed. I spent a big price to ask the hunter to chase the light, and then after chasing the light back, the hotel directly erupted the aurora, which was bigger than the one chasing outside, and the photo was very good. Just chasing the light to stay in the hotel, saving the money of the hunter to eat and drink is very beautiful! And the network is very good, the supporting facilities are complete, the environment is good, the young lady at the front desk is nice and patient, super recommended

AAnonymous UserThe only thing I care a little about is that the toilet seems to be gender-neutral. It is recommended to bring your own slippers. Other environments are OK. You can cook by yourself. The basic seasonings are available.
GGuest UserI traveled with my parents. I set up an ordinary family suite. The room was very large. A 1.5-meter bed and a 1.2-meter bed were enough. The window was outside the cabin, which was a fairy tale.
Hotel location is also very good to find, very conspicuous, close to a colored reduced version of Guangzhou Tower hahaha.
The front desk will take the initiative to open a residence permit, usually the next day or the third day.

GGuest UserIn Lao Jieli, the window is the position of the swing and the throne, the Arctic Ocean is out, and the aurora is up! Their restaurant is also the same name, the taste is OK!
PPINGrecommend!! Super nice hotel, very warm and caring, delivered champagne and chocolates, and will also help to find the aurora. The room is very warm, and the stove will be hotter at night. The view is very good, there is a big lake on the side, because of the reason for the car reservation, we are allowed to check out until three o'clock. Thank you very much. :)
