#Yulong River Rafting Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
When you come to Yangshuo, you must first visit Xingping Ancient Town, it's really beautiful|||
|||. When you come to Yangshuo, you must first visit Xingping Ancient Town, it's really beautiful|||❤️ Before going to Yangshuo, it is recommended to visit Xingping Ancient Town to tour the Li River. Boating on the green waves, as if you are in a painting, this feeling is too wonderful! I have organized some strategies for bamboo rafting on the Li River and in Yangshuo, 🉑 for reference!
📍Tour route: Xingping Ancient Town→Li River Bamboo Raft→Yulong River Bamboo Raft→Ten-Mile Gallery
✅️Attraction Strategies
📍Xingping Ancient Town: After exiting Yangshuo high-speed train station, buy a bus ticket to Xingping Ancient Town on the left-hand side, 5 yuan per person, the journey takes 15 minutes. In Xingping Ancient Town, you can rent an electric scooter to go to the 20 yuan photo spot + the old man's internet-famous photo spot, you can go down to the riverside to take pictures, and pose with the fisherman grandpa, 20r
📍Li River Electric Bamboo Raft: The electric bamboo raft seats 4 people, you can share a raft, and tickets can be bought at any pier ticket office, there are three routes for the electric bamboo raft
Route 1⃣: Zhaoqingshan Pier→Mashan Pier
Ticket + bamboo raft 120r, round trip about 50min. This route offers the essence of the Li River: the 20 yuan background and Nine Horses Painting Mountain. You can walk or take a 30r sightseeing car to Zhaoqingshan Pier
Route 2⃣: Zhaoqingshan Pier→Yangdi Pier
There are both one-way and round-trip options, one-way takes about 90min, 225r. It includes the 20 yuan background, Nine Horses Painting Mountain, Shanshui Peak, Carp Hanging on the Wall, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, etc. This segment is often crowded with tour groups, long in duration, and can lead to aesthetic fatigue, plus the electric noise and smell of oil, making the experience just average
Route 3⃣: Mashan Pier→Yangdi Pier
One-way takes about 50min, round trip about 80min, 120r. This segment only has the Nine Horses Painting Mountain as a scenic spot
📍Yulong River Bamboo Raft: Manually operated bamboo raft, you can go over dams, comfortable and thrilling, four essence routes:
Route 1⃣: Jimamato Pier→Gongnong Bridge Pier (320r)
Double raft, one-way takes about 90min, 9 dams, two sections of scenery, mountains + bamboo forest
Route 2⃣: Fuli Bridge→Sanchakou (358r)
There are double, triple, and quadruple rafts, round trip about 40min. This segment is a bit far from the county town, quite stable, suitable for families with children and elderly
Route 3⃣: Jinlong Bridge Pier→Old County Comprehensive Pier (320r)
Double raft, one-way takes about 90min, 9 dams, large drop, suitable for friends who like thrills
Route 4⃣: Shui'edi Pier→Gongnong Bridge Pier (200r)
Double raft, one-way takes about 40min, there are 4 dams, the scenery is good, this route is quite popular, not too long or too short, and the dam crossing is also enough
📍Ten-Mile Gallery: After taking the bamboo raft from the old county, ride an electric scooter along the Ten-Mile Gallery. Follow the route: Old County Pier→Shuangliuyi Pavilion→navigate to Liangsu, there is an internet-famous dam, the scenery is beautiful and photogenic→Haruki Murakami→Yulong River Swing→Yulong Shuiyun→Gongnong Bridge Sunset

Yangshuo check-in 20 yuan RMB background
DAY1: Take a cruise to Yangshuo
We booked a four-star cruise (400 yuan per person), and the original route was from the Shimo Mountain Pier in Guilin city to the West Street Pier in Yangshuo. But because March is the dry season in Guilin, the water level is not high when we arrive in Yangshuo, and the route has become a round trip from Yangzi Mountain Pier, this section of the route is the most charming. The car took us from the pier to the vicinity of West Street in Yangshuo.
Then we rented a small electric donkey (30 yuan/day), and rode a bike along the Ten Mile Gallery in Yangshuo. To be honest, there are not many places worth seeing in the Ten Mile Gallery. In the evening, we went to West Street in Yangshuo to enjoy the night view and tasted the Master's Beer Fish, which was very delicious.
DAY2: Yulong River rafting + Twenty Yuan Scenic Area + Laozhai Mountain + Xingping Ancient Town
Morning: Yulong River rafting is a must! We chose the route from Jinlong Bridge to the old county (160 yuan per person), which takes about 1.5 hours. If you find it a bit boring, you can choose a shorter trip.
The handmade bamboo raft makes you feel like you are traveling through time and space. Hundreds of years ago, literati also sat on bamboo rafts to admire the beautiful scenery of Guilin.
Noon: After the rafting, we took a taxi to the Twenty Yuan RMB Scenic Area, that is, near Xingping Ancient Town and Laozhai Mountain. The fare is 80 yuan.
It is more cost-effective to take a taxi for two or more people, because the bus to Xingping Ancient Town costs about 35 yuan per person, and you need to go to the passenger station separately, which is not very convenient and does not save much money.
The Twenty Yuan RMB Scenic Area is a must-see spot for taking pictures, after all, it appears on the RMB. It doesn't take much time, at most half an hour to finish.
Then we walked to Laozhai Mountain near Xingping Pier. But Laozhai Mountain is relatively steep, not recommended for climbing. The climbing route is very steep and there is no formal road surface, it is quite dangerous, please consider carefully.
I suggest you can go to climb Xianggong Mountain, it is said to be easier to climb. But you need to take a boat from Xingping Pier to Xianggong Mountain on the opposite bank of the river.
Because climbing Laozhai Mountain consumed a lot of physical strength, we gave up the plan of Xianggong Mountain. If possible, you should go to the top of the mountain to see the scenery, the scenery there is really spectacular! The landscape paintings of the ancients will not deceive people.
After climbing Laozhai Mountain, we went to Xingping Ancient Town for a round, had a cup of coffee, and had a meal. This ancient town is relatively small, and it doesn't take much time to stroll around.
Around four o'clock in the afternoon, we took a taxi back to Yangshuo. In the evening, we went to West Street in Yangshuo to take a set of photos, and the actual effect was better than I imagined.
DAY3: Return
We took a taxi from Yangshuo to Guilin Liangjiang Airport (about 210 yuan), and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
It is recommended to take a taxi for two or more people, because the bus to Guilin city costs 80 yuan per person, and you need to go to the passenger station separately, which is not convenient and does not save much money.
Using Didi or Gaode to take a taxi in Yangshuo is very convenient, and the order receiving speed is very fast. If there are two or more people traveling, please choose to take a taxi decisively!
Stunningly Calm River in Yangshuo🇨🇳
#timetotravel
Yulong River is of course a must see when you are in Yangshou. Seriously, it is one of the best views that we have ever seen in our travels around China. No wonder, a lot of tourists wants to see this place. The river is just so peacheful and calm that it bamboo rafting becomes its main activity. The scenery around it is just stunning. Photos really don't do it justice. This place is also less crowded than the Li River but both are great to visit whilst in Yangshou! I suggest that you rent a bike so you can just go and explore Yangshou and everything that it has to offer in your own pace. You can enjoy rafting and each raft costs around 250 and can take 2 people on it. Enjoy your day!

Embrace Nature!
River Rafting should be one of the things you should be doing if visiting Yangshuo, Guilin. Sitting and slowly drifting, the picturesque scenery along the way is really eye-catching. It was summer and sunny when we got there, really hot🔥. But it was worth it. You can take a lot of good photos as long as it is sunny. I would love to go there again.
📍Price : 380 / 4 people
Bamboo boat rafting along Yulong river
I thought this was going to be a bumpy ride but it was quite relaxing. I would actually say it’s therapeutic . Turned out to be one of my favorite adventures in Yangshuo. Could not get enough of the insanely beautiful mountains 🏔. It was a 90 minute experience .
Bamboo rafting experience
The Yulong River, with its dramatic karst landscape, clean water and ancient bridges, is a great place for bamboo rafting.
There are many ways to experience Yulong River such as hiking along the riverbank from Yulong Bridge to Moon Hill, cycle a bike alongside, swimming, kayaking and bamboo rafting. Among the activities, bamboo rafting should be the most popular way to experience Yulong River at its best.
This is definitely a “must do” when you travel to Yangshuo! Sound of the water, beautiful mountains around you, calm and peaceful atmosphere...what can be better?!
Just about 15 minutes by taxi from West street, around 100 rmb per person and you can enjoy 50 minutes rafting on bamboo boat.
Yulong River is the longest tributary of the Lancang River in Yangshuo. It has a total length of 43.5 kilometers. The water quality is clear and the water flow is slow. There are 28 dams and more than 100 scenic spots. The entire Yulong River scenic area does not have any modern buildings. Any artificial carvings, everything is so primitive, natural, ancient, is the largest pure natural landscape garden in Guilin. The advantage of
late is that there are very few tourists, there are no tourists before and after, so that we can enjoy the drifting in the mountains and rivers.
Penny is driving very slowly and has a very wonderful sense of tranquility.
The sun is slowly slanting westward, making the light and shadow of the mountains more layered, creating the most beautiful moments of Guilin.
When arriving at the dock, the clouds in the sky layer suddenly burned up the fire, and the water, the sky and the pier together glowed golden, which is really beautiful! Hurry and take a few portrait photos~
The Yangshuo Yulong River is the most poetic tributary of the Lijiang River. Sitting on the bamboo poles, you can enjoy the scenery on both sides of the river.
The boatman is rowing in the boat, and the 1.5-hour rafting has seen the thousands of mountains and waters of the Lijiang River. The most interesting thing is the drifting drift in the middle. I will wet my body with a sigh [laughing cry] Oh, cool and cool.
Bamboo rafts drift along, bringing a bubbly joy to the heart
Guilin's landscape is not famous for nothing; it's so beautiful that it feels like you've stepped into a world of paintings. Every unique mountain and peculiar rock is a masterpiece of nature's own sculpting, and you can't help but admire nature's aesthetic sense!
The bamboo raft journey from the upstream to the downstream covers nearly ten kilometers, all smoothly glided by the boatmen, bit by bit. You can even go for a swim if you like, as the water is quite shallow, haha.
It might be a bit challenging for those who get seasick,
but you can always ask the boatman to open an umbrella for you, making it quite comfortable. Leisurely, you can enjoy the gifts of nature.

🍀Attractions Guide
✔Fuli Bridge
The starting point of this journey, an ancient stone arch bridge. Walking on the bridge feels like being part of a story.
✔Yulong Bridge
Also a stone arch bridge, go down to the river bank to take photos, with bamboo rafts passing by, instantly immersing you in the waterside scenery.
✔Xinglong Wharf
There is a concrete bridge on the wharf, and a large tree on the riverbank, giving a sense of 'Jade-built red flower trees, the fragrant wind dares not blow'. On the other side of the bridge is the wharf, where the umbrellas on the bamboo rafts are opened, the colors are bright, and the scene composed with the landscape is as beautiful as an oil painting.
✔Murakami Haruki
A popular coffee shop, with a literary atmosphere emerging amidst the landscape. The cabin and the swing at the entrance are very photogenic.
✔One Foot Rice Field Coffee
A coffee house grown in the rice fields, completely integrated into the Guilin landscape, with a 💯 rural countryside feel.
✔Shuangliu Yidu Pavilion
The largest rice field on this route, you'll be amazed at the sight of it. There's a path in the rice field, and if you play Jay Chou's 'Rice Aroma' in your ears, you'll feel like the main character of a music video.
✔Popular Mini Train
A mini train that runs through the rice fields, we didn't get to photograph it during the off-season, but you can check it out when you pass by.
✔Yulong Shuiyun
Dragons lurking in the rice fields? It seems to hint that this place is blessed with spiritual beauty and favorable weather.
✔Shui'e Bottom Wharf
About 500 meters from the wharf, there is a smaller rice field where many people take photos.
✔Qixi Meidi
There is a lawn and a swing here, and if you walk 50 meters upstream along the river, there is a dam, where the river is wider and the photos look good.
✔Gongnong Bridge Wharf
The end of the Yulong River cycling and bamboo raft route, you can park your electric scooter here and take the ferry bus to the upstream wharf to start the bamboo rafting activity!
❗Practical tips
①There are three-wheeled and two-wheeled electric donkeys, two-wheeled is recommended as the roads are quite narrow, and two-wheeled ones have better passability and operability.
②Rent a vehicle with a sunshade, it's sun-proof and rain-proof.
③This trip should be completed before dark, as the shops along the route close after dark and there are very few lights on the road.
Yulong River in Yangshuo
Yulong River is located in Yangshuo, known as the 'Little Li River', and is a half-hour drive from West Street. The Yulong River is the second largest river in Yangshuo after the Li River. It originates from the Guli River in Lingui County, flows through more than thirty villages in three towns of Yangshuo, and follows the Gui (Lin) Yang (Shuo) highway (National Highway 321) towards the slowly southward flow. It merges with the Jinbao River at the Qinge Ferry of the Chuanyan Ancient Banyan Scenic Area and then flows into the Li River. The Yulong River is 43.5 kilometers long, about 38-61 meters wide, and 0.5-2 meters deep. The river water is clear and flows slowly all year round. The normal flow rate is about 5 cubic meters per second.
Guilin lightning avoidance can persuade one is one
Sisters who want to come to Guilin listen to persuasion‼️ You really need to make a good strategy before you come. Lightning avoidance expert Kaka is here~ Listen to me🗣 Remember these to avoid pitfalls👇
〰️
【Transportation】:
Guilin has three train stations, Guilin Station is the most convenient for the city and transportation, try to get off at Guilin Station, Guilin North Station can be the second choice, Guilin West Station is far from the city, it is not recommended to get off at the West Station
〰️
【Accommodation】:
✔️Before booking accommodation, look at the bad reviews and pictures in the review area, some hotel or homestay pictures do not match the actual situation
✔️There are many tourists in Guilin during the peak season (especially during holidays), it is recommended to book a hotel one month in advance
✔️Guilin's attractions are scattered, it is recommended to stay where you play, so you don't have to run back and forth, which is more convenient
〰️
【Food】:
✔️The popular bamboo tube milk tea is expensive and not tasty, it is just good for taking pictures, it is not environmentally friendly and not cost-effective
✔️Don't eat rice noodles around the scenic area, don't eat near the train station, don't eat in Yangshuo
✔️You can find a small shop in Guilin city to eat rice noodles, go in and ask for two liang of rice noodles directly, don't buy the sign
✔️There is beer fish everywhere in Yangshuo, you don't have to go to a big restaurant to eat, there are many small farmhouses on the side of the Yulong River that are very good, ask how much it is per jin before eating (remember to bargain), just order the ordinary fish
〰️
【Group】:
✔️Don't report the group tour of the street store, the price is expensive and you will enter the store, the experience is very bad
✔️Don't join a low-cost group, if you want to join a group, join a pure play group. Friends who want freedom can also customize privately, the price is a bit more expensive but it is more free and comfortable to play
〰️
【Play】:
✔️Guilin tourism is mainly about mountain and water play, there is a lot of walking time, be sure to prepare comfortable and easy-to-walk shoes
✔️Pay attention to your camera and mobile phone during the drifting process of Yulong River, match the anti-fall lanyard, it is difficult to fish if it falls into the water and it is expensive to hire someone
✔️Yansha hot air balloon does not move, the time is short and expensive, the cost performance is very low, it is not recommended to sit, paragliding is more dangerous, it is not recommended if you are not a fan
✔️Longji is very big, if you only have one day, it is recommended to go to Jinkeng, where there is a cable car. If you take the cable car, you may miss some roadside scenery, and it takes a long time to climb the mountain by yourself. Depending on personal needs, if there are elderly or children, it is still recommended to take the cable car back and forth, it will not be so tired
✔️ Friends who want to go to see Impression Liu Sanjie and Thousand-year Love should buy from travel agencies in advance, there will be a big discount
✔️Don't believe in free photos of various scenic spots, the free ones are very blurry and small, it's better to take your own

Yangshuo's scenery is the best in Guilin! | The 500-year-old ancient Fuli Bridge is unrealistically beautiful
| The 500-year-old ancient Fuli Bridge is unrealistically beautiful.
Yangshuo's free attractions, the 500-year-old ancient Fuli Bridge is so beautiful it seems unreal.
I was lucky enough to encounter the warm winter sun in Yangshuo, and having been recommended the Fuli Bridge by a friend before coming, I reserved the golden hour before sunset for this place.
Starting from West Street in Yangshuo, it's a 14-kilometer drive, about 20 minutes away. The last part of the road in the village is really narrow, thankfully it's the off-peak season for tourism. I wonder if it gets very congested during the peak season. Parking the car in the parking lot beside the bridge, the Fuli Bridge stands quietly in the sunset between the mountains and waters, turning those beautiful scenes I had seen before into reality.
The ancient Fuli Bridge is located within Baisha Town, Yangshuo County, Guilin, and was built during the Yongle era of the Ming dynasty, with a history of over 500 years. The bridge is 30 meters long, 10 meters high, and 5 meters wide. It is the tallest and most rounded single-arch stone bridge in Yangshuo County (along with Yulong Bridge and Xiangui Bridge on the Yulong River, it is known as one of Yangshuo's three great ancient stone bridges). There is an ancient tree on each side of the bridgehead. The bridge's design is simple and majestic, and its reflection in the calm river water resembles a full moon. Standing on the bridge and looking into the distance, you can take in the entire view of the Li River's landscape, as if you are in the midst of a green and lush landscape painting.
The Fuli Bridge is also a main pier for bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. If you have time, you can experience bamboo rafting. A raft can seat four people, and as it gently floats along the river, you are surrounded by green mountains and clear water. The river is so clear that you can see little fish swimming among the aquatic plants. All you can hear is the wind and the sound of the oars stirring the water, and your eyes, ears, and soul are melted by the expanse of green.
Little tip: It's best to go before evening on a sunny day
Transportation:
It is recommended to drive or rent an electric bike to get there, just navigate to Fuli Bridge
Fees: Free admission
Parking is ten yuan per time
Bamboo rafting is 290 yuan for a boat of four people, the round trip takes about 40 minutes, and the business hours are until about 5 p.m.

❄️Spring Festival plan to come to Guilin to play friends look 👀 over here! Hope this guide can help everyone~
🥳Say goodbye to the crowded peak season and take advantage of the current departure to Guilin to feel the mountains, the water, and the beauty here.....
.
⭕About transportation
✅Is it better to go to Guilin first or Yangshuo first❓
This actually depends on what kind of major transportation you choose to come to Guilin, whether it is ✈️airplane or 🚄high-speed rail.
✅If you choose ✈️airplane, then 📍Guilin Airport is closer to Guilin city.
✅If it is high-speed rail, then the three high-speed rail stations in Guilin are closer to the city, while Yangshuo station is closer to Yangshuo.
.
🔥Avoid pits in the scenic spot
1⃣️Don't believe the scalpers outside the scenic area, don't buy scalper tickets, so as not to be pitted 🐮
2⃣️Ten-mile Gallery rent electric cars must compare three, there will definitely be a relatively cheap one 🛵
3⃣️Yulong River rafting peak season really a lot of people, must remember to make an appointment in advance, otherwise you have to wait a long time 🚣♀️
4⃣️Go to Yulong River to take a bamboo raft rafting, be sure to wear waterproof shoe covers, after all, the bamboo raft has to pass through the dam, will splash water 👡💦
5⃣️Don't believe anyone who says they will take pictures for you for free during the Yulong River rafting process, some will print them out and force you to buy them at a high price, be careful~ 📸

Guilin's landscape is the best in the world
First, the important things are said three times!!! When eating rice noodles in a shop, don't ask the price! Just tell the boss two bowls of rice noodles!! If you don't ask, it's 6 yuan, if you ask, he will recommend you the signature gold rice noodles for 20 yuan.
2 Don't believe the taxi drivers who say they can take you into the scenic area cheaply, they do have a way, but they won't give you a discount for nothing
3 Don't believe the aunts who pull customers on the side of the road in Yangshuo, you will be slaughtered until you have no pants left
4 Don't buy things in the scenic area, you can buy the same souvenirs at roadside stalls and shops outside, and it can be cheaper - - more than half
5 It is recommended to rent a small electric donkey or bicycle for travel in the scenic area of Yangshuo, the Ten Mile Gallery will block you until you doubt life
6 In Yangshuo, I really strongly recommend not to eat beer fish! That's tomato stewed fish, a fish will really cost you 600, it is recommended to eat at local chain restaurants, Chunji roast goose and other delicious, reasonable price Taiwan 7 can go to Xingping ancient town to eat and play, but do not go there to live Oh that is a small town, there will be no one at night
8 Don't rent a car near the scenic area in Yangshuo, compare more, you will find a high cost-effective
9 Yulong River rafting remember to prepare raincoats and slippers in advance, it is more expensive to rent on site

yulong river rafting. near the town of JiuXian. Amazing river walk all the way to Jima
Yulong river bamboo rafting is an awesome experience in Yangshuo
Yulong River is the longest tributary of the Minjiang River in Yangshuo. It is called “Little Xiaojiang River,” but it is not like the Lijiang River. There is no trace of artificial carving here. There is no urban ambiguity here. Everything is so primitive, natural, and pure. If you compare the Lijiang River to the "everyone's show", then the Yulong River is a "small family jasper" that makes people feel at ease. How to choose the rafting on the Lancang River or the Yulong River? I was doing for the rafting in the Yulong River, and I was convinced that the Yulong River drifting bamboo rafts were artificial bolsters, while the Lijiang River was an electric valve. The electric valve was too noisy. I only liked,". When you sit on the bamboo pole, go down the river, watch the blue sky and clear water, watch the life in the villages on both sides of the strait, and devote yourself to this dreamy landscape. It seems to have entered the poetic realm of harmony between man and nature and has returned to the world of freedom.
This time, Yangshuo decided to go to Yulong River to play rafting. There are mainly several reasons. Yulong River is the longest tributary of the Minjiang River. It is also known as the Xiaoying River. It is the most beautiful section of Yangshuo's scenery. Another reason, Yangdi rafting uses a machine engine. There are many people on a boat. There is no such feeling. The Yulong River rafting uses artificial bamboo rafts. It can only sit two people, and enjoy the scenery, and the bamboo rafts and Guilin's landscape is more suitable. Another reason is the weather. I didn't see the scenery last time. I hope this time.
However, there are many choices for Yulong River rafting. I also watched the brain pain on the Internet. In the end, I chose the most popular Jinlong Bridge to the old county. It turns out that this drift is indeed the best one, drifting. The distance is very long, and the scenery on both sides of the strait is very good. Finally, I experienced what is called a person in the middle of the painting.
After a period of time, calm down, the original Yangshuo in the fog is the most beautiful, floating on the Yulong River, the scenery on both sides of the river is picturesque, the original life is still too impetuous, immersed in the landscape of Yangshuo Do you think that there are not many people, then you are wrong, because our masters are drawing faster, just a few in front of them are far away, so it seems that we are only ourselves, in fact, you look back There are a large number of teams behind.
Yulong River's bamboo rafting is indeed more interesting than the Yangdi rafting of the Lijiang River. At least there is no roar of the engine to disturb the tranquility between the mountains and rivers. The drifting in the chair is just a kind of enjoyment. Very relaxing.
Legend has it that the dragons of the East China Sea loved the scenery here and stopped to stay. When the villagers saw it, they changed the river to the Yulong River. The beauty of the Yulong River is evident.
The difference with the Lijiang River is that it relies entirely on artificial poles. When the water is in a hurry, you can smoke and rest. If you are not in a hurry, you need to force the boat. Therefore, there is a habit of tipping the boatman. The bamboo raft here is for two people, if a single person needs to fight and make up the difference.
There are nine hurdles in the whole drifting. Each one is more exciting. It is likely to splash a lot of water and be careful with your belongings.
The entire Yulong River scenic spot, there is no modern building, there is no trace of artificial carving, and there is no urban ambiguity, primitive, natural, simple and pure. It is the largest pure natural landscape garden in Guilin.
The Yulong River is 43 kilometers long in Yangshuo. There is no so-called modern building in the entire Yulong River Scenic Area. There is no trace of artificial carving. Everything is so primitive, natural and pure.
The bamboo rafting here is mainly for double floats and eight floats. Generally, double rafting is selected, and one bamboo raft sits two people. There are also different options for the rafting route. There are 5 long floating piers and three leisure wharfs along the way. We are going to the Shui Erdi Pier, which can be purchased directly at the pier or online. From then on, we will drift to the Gongnong Bridge. About 50 minutes.
