The Puffing Billy steam train is really great! Sitting in the retro carriage, listening to the whistle, passing through dense forests and valleys. The scenery along the way is picturesque, and you can stick your feet out of the window and wave and interact with the enthusiastic residents. It feels like being in a fairy tale world. This unique journey makes people forget their troubles and is extremely comfortable.
The second day's itinerary in Melbourne ~ Centennial Steam Train Sitting in a semi-open carriage You can hang your legs freely outside the car Feel the breeze and fresh air in the mountains If you are longing for a trip to escape the hustle and bustle Return to nature This Melbourne Centennial Steam Train is definitely not to be missed It is not only a simple journey It is also an intimate dialogue with history and nature There is a souvenir shop at the entrance. The refrigerator magnets inside are super beautiful. The children bought several. They are beautiful and inexpensive. Because the steam train takes about an hour, it is best to go to the bathroom after entering the entrance. After entering the train, you should sit on the right hand side of the train's direction of travel. Many Internet celebrity photos are taken here. The view is very good. I feel free and comfortable when I sit on the train. The children love it very much😘
Puffing billy was an interesting experience in Melbourne! The first curve with nice view of the bridge was the best part but it gets quite repetitive after that.Good for a one-time visit, but lower your expectations for excitement.
Narrow-gauge railway lines built by the government to develop remote areas (see chart below) have become one of the best-preserved steam train lines in the world today thanks to the tireless efforts of volunteers. The railway is 29 kilometers long. It travels through wooden trestles tens of meters high and shuttles through picturesque mountains and forests. After more than an hour's drive, it can reach the Jade Lake. I am impressed by the warm smile of the crew, which is an expression of pride and self-confidence that can be emitted from the heart no matter what work they do. Pro, professional enough!
The world's relatively complete steam train is about an hour's drive from Melbourne. It's interesting to sit on the window. Generally, it's better to sit on the right side of the bus. The last two carriages are the best places to see the scenery. However, the rear carriages are usually reserved, but free-riding tourists need not worry, the latter two carriages are available for return journey. It's a little cold in the mountains, especially after summer, so when you come here, you must remember to bring a coat. Sit down for three or four hours. You have to do at least one stop at Lakesaide to make it worthwhile. There are curtains rolled up on the windows. If it rains occasionally on the way, you can put down the curtains to keep out the rain. Along the way, you can see the passionate waving of passers-by residents on both sides. It's really worth a visit.
There are also train museums in many parts of Europe. If you read more, you will forget. But puffing billy's impression is still deep. It's not the difference between trains. It's said that this is one of the best preserved steam trains. It's the scenery along the train, especially at the curve of the turn. It's very tasty to snap. We are very relaxed.
Small trains have several characteristics. One is the old steam type, which takes about half an hour. Second, passengers can hang their legs on the outside of the carriage, which is very interesting. Thirdly, all the staff members of the train are retired elderly public welfare services, which make people awe-inspiring. It's worth going. Although we were reminded not to drop our shoes before boarding the train, there was an Indian mm in our carriage that actually dropped a shoe. Everyone was very happy with the surprise.
