1st time experiencing Japanese theme park

Universal Studios Japan (Osaka) This has been on my children’s bucket list for the longest time!! The trip was planned in less than 3 months, so tickets were not easy to get by the time we had finalised the flights & dates. An error in the booking date had me $300 poorer and failed to get the Nintendo timed tickets. Thankfully, just being able to be at the Harry Potter world more than make up for it. Both my children are already planning a return trip next year.

The park although open more than 20 years ago, it is well maintained and the props are ever changing. Unlike most of the Universal studios, Japan universal studios open late so that you can enjoy the night lights and the many photo taking spots! There is more than 10 over different zones but the most fun one for me is the super Nintendo world which is special to the Japan universal studios.

As a potterhead, Universal Studio Japan is one of a must visit place in the world, as they have The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It's a place where your dream as a potterhead become reality. Universal Studio Japan is in Osaka, you can get there by bullet train from Tokyo. The journey takes about 2.5 – 3 hours. Be there early, so you can beat the crowd before anyone else and experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to the fullest. Strolling around Hogmeade, sip a glass of butterbear, and go to Olivanders to grab your first magical wand. Don't forget to take a ride on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. That was the craziest ride in the whole Universal Studio Japan. I still remember my hands was shaking when my feet steped on the gate of Wizarding World of Harry Potter. #wecreate I had the opportunity to visit universal studios Japan in Osaka and managed to enter the Harry Potter world. unfortunately it was raining on the day itself but the rides were still ongoing! I tried the rides and they were really scary and exhilarating. will recommend going!! also went for some magic shows and it was really interactive and cool. glad they spoke in both Japanese and English. lastly I also tried the butter beer which tasted really good! will recommend visiting and spending a couple of hours here if possible. it’s fun!

Bucket list Unlocked

It was indeed a long trip but it’s worth it. The sceneries are amazing and extravagant. If you come from Shizuoka Ken like me better depart from your place early, like dawn. Lunch @ Harry Potter World Universal Osaka

While visiting Harry Potter World in Universal Studios Osaka, we had lunch at The Three Broomsticks and it was pretty good! Food selection was varied and there were choices such as sandwiches, pasta, fish and chips etc. Highly recommend heading there for lunch earlier as it can get really crowded with snaking queues. My rating: 3.5 ⭐️ out of 5!

The latest attraction at Universal Studios Japan! A must-go for Super Mario lovers. There are 2 rides here: the bowser ride and the Japan-exclusive Yoshi ride. The Star popcorn bucket and green shell calzone are also food exclusives to this area. RELEASE YOUR IMAGINATION AT USJ

Hi! I just went to Universal Studio Japan a week ago. I came there with my friends. The ticket was about 8600 yen and to avoid the long wait I do recommend you to get it at Lawson. Just find a red machine called loppy. Then pay it at cashier. It was very easy. The park starts in the morning at 9:00. So you won't get lose it is better to download their app (Universal Studio Japan). Through the app you don't need to bring a paper maps anymore. Also you can book some rides there. Remember you can only book 1 attraction at one time. At least it helps to save your time. Unfortunately I couldn't visit Nintendo world. They have special ticket that you must buy it in advance. So far it was really fun to come here. So sad I didn't have much time so I couldn't enjoy many rides. :) If you come to Osaka do not forget to come here!! #japan

There was already many queues formed when i arrived. I reached the entrance of usj around 8.45am. USJ experience! Harry Potter & Mario

An amazing experience and well spent a day in USJ. The Nintendo world is so amazing and looks like you are in the game! The Mario Kart is so fun, but it is so crowded so remember to get your time entry ticket as soon as you entering the park! Harry Potter section is all time favourite part too with the yummy butter beer! never had enough of it. The food in Jurassic Park is good too and definitely worth a try with lesser crowd!
