The tulips of Shanghai's Bund, a romantic promise of spring
🌷The springtime on the Bund always carries a hint of enchanting romance. This year, the tulips here have become a dreamy landscape in the hearts of many.
💐Strolling along the Bund, a sea of dazzling tulips comes into view. Red, yellow, pink, purple... it's as if nature has overturned its palette, sprinkling the most beautiful colors upon this land.
🌺Each tulip is like a meticulously carved piece of art, standing elegantly. They sway gently in the breeze, as if telling the stories of spring.

🤩Moreover, the historic buildings of the Bund, set against the backdrop of the tulips, add a unique charm. While admiring the sea of flowers, one can also feel the cultural heritage of the city.

Take a city walk from afternoon to evening
Shanghai Postal Museum - Zhapu Road Bridge - North Bund Riverside - Fair Road Ferry - Taitong Ferry - Pudong Art Museum - Tianshui Love - Dongchang Road Ferry - The Bund
The whole journey is about 6km
I used to like cycling along this route. I tried to measure it with my feet and found it was not bad~
Can't rush to the mountains and fields, the feeling of long-distance walking in the city is also good
silas.atticus.winterbourne With the arrival of spring and clear skies, let's meet at the North Bund
Weekends at the North Bund offer a unique charm where history and modernity blend. In March, there are no tulips or cherry blossoms at the North Bund, but violets bloom from winter into spring. After 18:00, when the lights come on, you can also see the large cruise ships docked. This place was once an important port and trade center in Shanghai, but it has now become a modern business center and tourist destination. Grab your camera and come capture the beautiful moments of this springtime scenery!

The photo spots on the Bund that are constantly asked about, not in Paris but in Shanghai
After the first sentence, there's a break. The Bund is a place I never tire of, and I like to take a stroll here when the weather is nice. Here are a few spots where even the average person can snap a stylish photo👇

Comparing with the Bund in Shanghai, I feel sorry for Guangzhou
Comparing with the Bund in Shanghai, I feel sorry for Guangzhou!|||I recently went to Shanghai,
and visited the Bund again.
I have to say,
the cultural and historical heritage,
the modern architecture,
and the bustling business,
all contribute to the unique charm of the Bund.
Many buildings actually feel similar to those on Yanjiang West Road in Guangzhou.
But the scale and volume are far from Shanghai.
-
Historically speaking,
Guangzhou, the millennium business capital,
was the earliest commercial port.
The history of opening to the outside world is clearly the longest,
but it was quickly replaced by Shanghai who came from behind.
The conservation efforts of Guangzhou for the west bank of Yanjiang West Road are far from Shanghai.
Now it has become various wholesale markets and warehouses.
I really feel it's a pity.
On the Bund in Shanghai! Spend a little money to pretend to be a big shot! Dazzling and extravagant~
On the Bund in Shanghai! Spend a little money to pretend to be a big shot! Dazzling and extravagant~||Checked in at the popular photo spot on the Bund📸
Dazzling and extravagant~ It really has the taste of a wealthy daughter!
Just at 👉2nd floor of No.6 Bund. Order a drink and cry😭
But for the sake of taking beautiful photos, I can only take photos for 5 minutes. The lights are off at 10 o'clock.
Sisters, pay attention to the rhythm. You can search for poses in advance.
It's also nice to take pictures of the Oriental Pearl Tower through the window hehe~
When in Shanghai, you must go to the night view sightseeing route of the Bund in Magic City
When in Shanghai, you must go to the night view sightseeing route of the Bund in Magic City.
Recently, some friends from other places asked me if they want to come to Shanghai to play, are there many people?
I can only say that there are not a little bit of people, especially in places like Disneyland and the Bund, which are iconic check-in spots. (The last three pictures show the flow of people on the Bund)
Friends who have never been to Shanghai are really worth coming to see and feel the atmosphere of Magic City. But recently, Shanghai is either stuffy or rainy, either sunny or humid, and many friends from the north may not be able to adapt to the climate here.
I have organized a classic night view sightseeing route, classic three-piece set, four-piece set, Oriental Pearl, Waibaidu Bridge, People's Heroes Monument, Chen Yi Square, Customs Building, many internet celebrity check-in points can be covered, the whole process is free of charge, 360 degrees unobstructed view of the river.

🏯Yu Garden🌸 Yu Garden
This is one of the oldest and most famous gardens in Shanghai. Here, you can appreciate the traditional Jiangnan garden style, admire the exquisite garden landscape, rockeries and antique buildings. Walking on the stone paths of Yu Garden, you can feel the blend of old and modern.
🏯Shanghai City God Temple🏮 City God Temple Tourist Area
This is an ancient temple with a strong cultural atmosphere, and it is also one of the historical and cultural symbols of Shanghai. In the City God Temple, you can feel the traditional religious atmosphere, visit the temple and the statues of gods, and also taste many authentic snacks and special products.
🛍Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street🚶♀️ Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
As one of the busiest shopping streets in China, Nanjing Road is a paradise for shopping enthusiasts. It gathers major domestic and foreign brand stores and boutiques, where you can enjoy shopping and taste fashion.
🌃The Bund🌉 The Bund
The Bund is one of the landmarks of Shanghai and one of the most famous tourist areas. You can enjoy the magnificent scenery of both sides of the Huangpu River, overlook the skyscrapers and modern buildings on the opposite side, and also experience the history and culture of Shanghai.
🏮1192 Alley Shanghai Style Street🍜 1192 Alley Old Shanghai Style Street
This is a retro and nostalgic block, preserving the old Shanghai style. You can stroll here, appreciate the architectural style of old Shanghai, experience the life atmosphere of old Shanghai, and feel the passage of time.
🏛Wukang Road Historical and Cultural Street🔮 Wukang Road
This is a historical and cultural street famous for its European architectural style. Here, you can appreciate many well-preserved historical buildings and feel the Western style of Shanghai.
Shanghai City God Temple
I prefer scenic spots with historical culture, and I like the night view of Shanghai even more. Among them, I think the night view of the City God Temple is more attractive and flavorful than the daytime, whether for taking photos or for tourism, it's very good to come at night. There are many special snacks inside, which are antique and it's nice to come with family or parents. It also has a unique flavor to play by oneself.
The subway is very convenient, it is also a good choice to go to the pedestrian street and the Bund nearby before going there.
There are several city walk routes in Shanghai, there is always one for you
Some places can't say exactly where they are good, but they are unforgettable. For me, Shanghai is such a place - it is both the first stop of my trip and the city I have visited the most.
It has both the prosperity of modern cities and the beauty of Jiangnan water towns. High-rise buildings and alleyways shine each other, elegant and lazy coexist. Various seemingly contradictory but harmoniously coexisting elements are breathtaking, and inclusiveness and diversity are the most fascinating places in Magic City.
🌟Classic check-in route
➡️City God Temple-Yuyuan Garden-Bund-Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
The must-check route for the first time to Shanghai. The "old Shanghai" and the "new era" coexist. Religious buildings, Jiangnan gardens, skyscrapers, snack commercial streets, this route includes them all. If you have time, you can also visit the nearby Shanghai Museum, but the museum has many people during the holidays and needs to be booked in advance.
🌟City walk route
➡️Wukang Road/Yuyuan Road/Hengshan Road/Sweet Love Road/Duolun Road
If you don't want to go to the crowded check-in spots, just find a road to see the plane trees and old houses, and you can occasionally find some special small shops or cafes.
🌟Jiangnan ancient town route
➡️Xinchang Ancient Town/Nanxiang Ancient Town/Fengjing Ancient Town/Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
You don't need to go to Suzhou and Hangzhou, there are small bridges and flowing water in Shanghai. If you go to Xinchang Ancient Town, remember to bring a postcard, the postal code there is 201314.
🌟Second element route
➡️EVA Unit 0/Gundam Statue/Baolian ZX/Meiluo City
Known as China's Akihabara, the city with the highest concentration of the second element in China, arranging a whole day of the second element journey is also a good choice.
🌟Fairy tale route
➡️Disneyland
Disney must arrange a whole day, stay near the park one day in advance, or near the subway station near the park, start early the next day, and prepare to welcome a day of many people and happiness.
🚌Transportation
Buses and subways are very convenient, Alipay, Cloud Flash Pay and WeChat can all open electronic bus cards, or directly download a metropolis app.
🏠Accommodation
It is recommended to stay near People's Square and Nanjing Road, which is convenient for travel and dining, and you can go to the Bund to blow the wind at night.
🍜Food
Fried dumplings and small steamed buns are local snacks, and crayfish are also very good. Some special themed restaurants need to be booked, so you can do some homework in advance.

I thought the Bund was beautiful enough! Until I went to Pudong lalaland!
Hi~ I'm Heimao
I've been to Shanghai more than 10 times, and only then did I discover Pudong
This place seems like a replica of the movie 'La La Land'
Sunset, evening glow, ferry
Feeling the gentle autumn breeze by the river
Watching the city lights flicker in the distance
This is the correct way to enjoy the night view of Shanghai
Location: Xiepu Road Ferry Terminal
■How to get there: Depart from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 to Jing'an Temple Station, transfer to Metro Line 14 to Exit 4 of Xiepu Road Station, and walk straight to the river for 10 minutes
■Time: The period from dusk to blue hour is the most beautiful, approximately
17:30-18:30
Photography spots
Sunken runway: You can capture the city's night view in the distance
There's a bicycle lane on the left, with the spectacular 'three-piece suit' as the backdrop
The arc-shaped runway on the right is very design-oriented
There's a red bridge at the back, which gives off a great atmosphere when paired with the yellow light
Use a telephoto lens to capture the distant ships, it's like being in Hong Kong
Note
Avoid going on weekends, as it can get crowded
■Check the weather in advance, if there's a high chance of an evening glow, go for it
.The Bund lights up around 7 o'clock, you can wait for it
•The evening glow in the first picture is photoshopped, and the construction in the background has also been edited out

China, a mesmerizing country of wonders that stole my heart. From the enchanting city of Kunming to the timeless beauty of ancient gems like Dali and Lijiang, each destination unfolded a unique chapter of beauty.

The Nation of Illumination | Shanghai
#shanghaitrip
The night illumination of Shanghai is a breathtaking spectacle, transforming the city into a vibrant display of lights and colors. The historic buildings along the Bund, with their classical architecture, are beautifully lit up, creating a picturesque view along the Huangpu River. The lights accentuate the details of these iconic structures.
The modern skyscrapers in Pudong, including the Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center, are illuminated with an array of colorful lights. The skyline becomes a dazzling panorama of futuristic designs. Oriental Pearl Tower is adorned with multicolored LED lights, creating a captivating display. The spheres of the tower change colors, contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of the city's skyline.
Beyond the iconic landmarks, the streets of Shanghai come alive with neon signs, decorative lights, and vibrant street-level activity. Popular areas like Nanjing Road and Xintiandi showcase a lively nightlife. Occasionally, there are coordinated light shows on specific buildings or across the skyline, creating synchronized displays that captivate both residents and visitors.

Afternoon tea with a view ☕️☀️
#shanghaitrip
What is better is better than afternoon tea at one of the bunds most beautiful restaurants? It’s is one of my top favorites of visiting Shanghai. We have much less of that in Beijing.
We came one Friday to Pop and had an amazing afternoon. Good food, good drinks and good friends. The amazing selection they served for their afternoon tea was superb and the view was fantastic. This is an absolute good place to start your rooftop adventure in Shanghai. The stunning view of the Bund always keep amaze me although I’ve travelled to the city about 30 times.

The bund
The Bund is a famous area in Shanghai, China. This area is located on the banks of the Huangpu River and is one of the icons of the city of Shanghai.
Apart from being a popular tourist destination, The Bund also has an important economic history as a financial and trade center in the past. Today, it is one of the best places to admire the majestic silhouette of Shanghai, especially at night when the buildings are beautifully illuminated.

The Bund during Chinese National Holiday
I visited The Bund last week during the October National Holiday and it was quite hectic, but still worth it.
I got there using the metro and a DiDi because the nearest metro stop was shut down during the holiday most likely because of the sheer volume of people coming to visit.
The Bund is a must visit when coming to Shanghai. The oriental pearl will forever be my all time favorite 🤩

📍Address: No. 141/ No. 481, Zhongshan East 2nd Road, Huangpu District
The Bund is the iconic landmark of Shanghai, and the area around it has dozens of historical buildings that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan, etc. The area stretches for a mile and is made up of 52 buildings. For everyone is the historical part, which diverses architectural styles, from Neo-Classical to Baroque and Gothic. It’s this diversity that’s given The Bund its reputation as an open-air museum of international architecture.
The Bund is open day and night, but by far the best time to enjoy the experience is in the late afternoon and evening.

Shanghai at the crack of dawn ✨
You all know about the famous bund in Shanghai, the most popular attraction of the city exhibiting its futuristic skyline. Most people flock there during the day and at night for the city lights which are also epic!
However, if you want to enjoy your time at The Bund, I highly recommend that you head there at the crack of dawn at around 5 - 5.30 am. Watch the sunrise, gaze at Tai Chi practitioners and dragon 🐉 dance practitioners! It’s 100% worth it without the usual chaotic crowd 😌

Shanghai Shenanigans
#shanghaitrip #shanghaishenanigans
Spent a few nights in Shanghai which of course meant heading to the bund to see all the people, uhh I mean landscapes. During the day, I suggest taking a stroll around the old French parts of town. There are some lovely cafes around. Spending the evening at a rooftop bar is expensive but gives really amazing views of the city.
There's so much to do in Shanghai that you can't really make just one post about it. We also found a really good cafe that has delicious cinnamon roll buns. You must try it.
Architecture along The Bund, Shanghai🏙️
Wandering along the picturesque promenade of The Bund in Shanghai, you can admire all the architectural wonders✨. The historical legacy of this waterfront area is showcased by the splendid colonial buildings, each with its unique background and history🏙️💙. Shanghai's Midnight Miss at the Bund ✨
#timetotravel
🌆 Our nighttime stroll along the Bund in Shanghai was a mix of anticipation and missed opportunity.
Arriving at the Bund around midnight, we missed the famed lights, a bit disappointing but a lesson learned: go early, brace the crowds. Taking the subway and strolling, the Bund still held its charm. While we couldn't catch the lights this time, our late-night visit left a lasting impression.
Departing in the morning, we knew that next time, we would be back to explore more of Shanghai's treasures, beyond just the lights. 💛
