Situated right opposite of Promthep cape in phuket is a beautiful cafe that one should visit when you're in the vicinity. Take a short stroll into a pathway and that will lead you to Summore day cafe. The cafe has a modern and cozy vibe and the magnificent views that this cafe has is just breath taking. Both indoor or outdoor seatings would provide nice views. Summore day cafe overlooks the whole of ya nui beach and the Andaman sea and the views are unblocked.
Their desserts are great and delicious. I ordered their chocolate brownie and blueberry tart, which we finished within minutes. Coffee is a must order, as their drinks are pretty good. Great food and great views, there's nothing for me to complain. It's a perfect place to chill, enjoy the sea breeze and take in all the amazing beach vibe. Highly recommend this cafe!

The Elephant Shrine at Promthep cape
In the south of Phuket island in Thailand there is a cape called Prom Thep. And next to this cape there is an amazing and very unusual elephant temple. There are a lot of elephant figures here - I think there are several hundred of them.
There is a legend that you have to make a wish in this place, and if it comes true, then you need to bring a new elephant to Brahma. Judging by the number of elephants, wishes come true regularly, so you can also try 😉

Cape Promthep - Epic sunset spot 🌅
When it comes to the province of Phuket, what many people miss out on is watching the sunset at Laem Promthep, the most beautiful viewpoint in Thailand.
Laem Promthep is a cape located at the southernmost tip of Phuket Island, about 19 km away from the city center. The curved cape descends gradually to the sea, and is surrounded by palm trees that grow in clusters, giving off a cool and chic vibe, like being in California.
We are one of those who enjoy the atmosphere during sunset, as the sunlight is never the same each day. Watching the sunset over the sea, combined with the reflection on the water, creates a charming and mesmerizing ambiance. Some days the color of the sunset is orange, some days pink, some days yellow, and even purple on some days.
But one thing that never changes is that the sun always sets in the west every day. 😂
You can hike down to the cape if you're not afraid of getting tired, but if you want to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere, it is recommended to watch the sunset from the top as there are fewer people than at the cape.

Sunsets at Promthep Cape
Promthep Cape seems to be an irresistible spot for a good old sunset photo at the very south of Phuket island, not far from Nai Harn Beach on the way to Rawai Beach.
This landmark has always been a daily meeting point for hundreds tourists to line up with a camera facing west. Colourful buses download hordes of tourists hungry for a sunset picture, and the place starts buzzing with flashes. It’s also funny to see how many people still take sunset photos with a flash!
With its elevated location and a few small islands nearby, the Promthep Cape is a nice place to admire the sunset, but it is not always impressive. Watching the crowd is almost more entertaining: most people are texting or playing Facebook games while waiting for the six o’clock moment.

Phuket at its very best
What an awesome trip up to Karon View Point and Promthep Cape! Karon View Point is a really short drive up from Karon or Kata Beach. It wouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes, but I recommend getting a private driver or at least a Grab! The roads can be steep and winding while going up, and a few portions of it are in poor condition. Plenty of parking space for motorbikes.
The trip up to the view point was definitely worth it! Stunning views of south western Phuket, especially of Kata Beach. Take the time to soak in the views of Kata Noi beach!
At Promthep Cape (10-20 minutes drive from Karon View Point), adventurous folks can climb down onto the rocks to get the perfect picture. Be careful though! The rocks are not paved, so it can be dangerous.
Getting There - Private Car/Driver, Grab, Motorbike
Attractions - Great view! Breathtaking
Hotels - Kata Beach, Karon Beach
Food & Restaurants - Lots of small roadside eateries and vendors nearby
Shopping - Cheap clothing and souvenir shops!

One of the most beautiful sunset viewing points
✨️ 'Promthep Cape', to be honest... I have to say
I've been to Phuket many times. I've driven past here many times.
But I've never had the chance to see the beauty of this place.
💙 But this time, I have time to see it with my own eyes.
Say a few beautiful words.
It's as beautiful as a big shout. Just as they say
The atmosphere is very good for the heart.
⛅️ Who comes to Phuket Island? If you have enough time, I don't want to miss it.
It's good for the heart, very healing for the heart🥰🥰

best view in Phuket
We rented the car and drive there. rather than take the taxi. good weather and beautiful view all the way there. there is shopping spot by local in that area. I wish to go there again. I would recommend to go there in the evening to see the sunset. it’s pretty hot in the afternoon but still nice and not too crowded. chilling and picnic with family is the best choice there!! dangerous to go in the rainy day. the road is crooked and slippery. there is beautiful beach nearby with so many active such as kayaking🏖🚣 and some restaurants.
