Phuket Accommodation Guide, How to Choose from 4 Popular Areas?
Phuket's 4 popular accommodation areas:
⭐ Patong Beach: Phuket's Center | Lively Nightlife | Rich Entertainment Life
A mature tourist gathering place, with a row of hotels along the coastline, which is quite convenient. There are many spa massage shops, restaurants, cabaret shows, Muay Thai performances, and night markets, etc. The commercial atmosphere is very strong, and the beach is average.
⭐ Karon Beach: Surfer's First Choice | Blue Water and White Sand | Long Beach
The coastline is long and is one of the longest beaches in Phuket. The sea is azure and has fine white sandy beaches. There are not many water activities, and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The popular cliff cafes and cliff restaurants are built on the mountains of Karon Beach, where you can overlook the entire long coastline of Karon.
⭐ Kata Beach: Beautiful Sunset | Scenery | Surfing Spot
One of the best spots in Phuket to watch the sunset, with many entertainment options, close to Kata Night Market. Right at the entrance is the smart bus, adjacent to Karon Beach, about a 5-minute drive.
⭐ Phuket Town: Old Town | Michelin Food | Colorful Buildings
Various South Asian style colorful buildings, great for photography! Very suitable for shopping, check-in the same store as in the drama 'In Love'. There are also many Michelin-recommended restaurants in town, you can go to the night market and slowly experience the local culture here.

Step into the magical Hogs Head Pub in Phuket
#travelanywhere
The ‘real’ Hog’s Head Inn was a disreputable inn and pub in the all-wizarding village of Hogsmeade… in Phuket, there is a Hogsheads Pub Phuket which is a Harry Potter-themed bar and cafe offering a variety of fun and refreshing drinks including Butter Beer.
The interior resembles a famous cafe from the Harry Potter books with magical accessories, handmade ornaments, alphabet art letters, wall hanging figures and special coloured lighting with a fair share of spookiness… it was one of my must visit places in Phuket and located at Phuket Old Town!!
Address - 27 Yaowarat Road, Talat Yai, Maung. Phuket 83000

Phuket is so beautiful just upon arrival, what am I to do in the following days?
Phuket's summer never ceases, and the youth's passion is always fervent
The sea, the beach, the sunset, the afterglow
It seems all the romance is hidden here, sitting by the sea for an afternoon
Closing my eyes to listen to the surging sound of the sea, even though I do nothing
I still feel that time is tranquil and life is worthwhile
Sharing my photo spots, each one is incredibly photogenic!
1on the hill karon
Looking through the door frame is like looking at a tranquil oil painting, listening to the wind and waves, overlooking the coastline of Karon Beach, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery
2 Phuket Town Street
Check in the same spots as the ones in 'Love', Yuan Chun Tang, Ding Guang Tang, on on hotel are all on this street, in the evening, the afterglow paints the street with warm colors
3 the memory at on on hotel
It's where Leonardo DiCaprio's 'The Beach' was filmed, and the Thai drama 'With Love' was set here again, you can check in and take photos without staying in the hotel, the hotel is very quaint and has character
4 amari phuket
The hotel lobby is designed so brilliantly, with an unbeatable floor-to-ceiling sea view, transparent from inside out, facing the sea, waking up naturally in the hotel you can enjoy a lovely tea time
5 Laem sai cup
A cliff cafe full of coconut trees, as if you are in the jungle, overlooking the distant sea, the photos are incredibly photogenic, swinging leisurely on the swing, it's so comfortable
6 cape panwa hotel
This is Ou's home, the famous scene with the hammock by the sea, right under the trees on the beach outside the hotel, where you can lie down and take a short rest

Eye-Catching Cafe In Phuket Old Town🇹🇭✨
#thailandtrip
This time i visited the newly opened cafe in Phuket named Pina Pina. This cafe islocated in Phuket Old Town. This cafe is so eyecatching with their garden decorations. Instead of flowers at the garden they add Pineapple for the decoration.
This cafe is offers a food and beverage. Most of all the menu is Thai Cuisine. I ordered Thai Chicken Basil, Fried Seafood With Garlic and Pork Thai Omelette. The taste was good. My favorite is their fried seafood with garlic!
Price : ฿300–400 per person

The Big Buddha, Phuket Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Affordable Places We Visited in Phuket
#familytrips2024 #vianasjourney #awesomepic
1) The Big Buddha; 45 meters tall & 25.5 meters wide Buddha statue overlooking the sea. If your outfit too revealing, staff will provide you with some scarfs to cover up but you have to return these back. - free entrance
2) Kokchang Safari; Elephant sanctuary, we went here just to feed the elephants and move on to Katanoi Viewpoint. The food for the elephants were cheap. - parking space was limited.
3) Katanoi Viewpoint; Scenic spot, it is open 24hours but the restaurant have limited opening time. Really nice place for pictures. - free entrance
4) Patong Otop Shopping Paradise; Located in Patong itself, tons of food available including exotic food (crocodile bbq was one that caught my attention). Cheap prices mostly.
5) Rawai Beach; Plenty of visitors came here to catch the sunset. - free entrance but parking can be crowded.

Big Buddha on the mountaintop
The Big Buddha of Phuket is one of the most representative attractions of Phuket Island, located on the top of Nakkerd Hill, standing 45 meters high, it is one of the largest bronze Buddha statues in the world.
You can overlook the entire Phuket town and the surrounding bays from the mountain, enjoying the charming scenery.
On the way to the mountaintop, you can also explore many interesting small shops and restaurants, taste local delicacies, and buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
Whether you come for worship, sightseeing, or taking photos, you can feel the solemn and mysterious atmosphere brought by the Big Buddha.
The Big Buddha @ Phuket
#phukettrip
Our trip to the Big Buddha was stunning!
If you love interesting architecture, do visit the Big Buddha.
It was made of granite and white marble so it gives out cool and calming energy.
The statues were really amazing and they had a meditation class.
I would recommend doing the 7 minute happy meditation while you are here!
Tranquil peaceful vibe!
We enjoyed a serene and breathtaking view from the top too. The sunset was very beautiful.
Phuket island in Thailand
Phuket island is located in Phuket province in southern Thailand. It is the biggest Island of Thailand and sits on the Andaman sea.
Phuket is full of natural beauty, from the waterfalls to the sensational hikes. You will have the best time exploring Phuket if you love nature. There are many things that you can enjoy such as colorful night markets, white marble Big Buddha, delicious seafood etc.
There are different ways that you can arrive at Phuket island such as by flight, bus or train. From Bangkok to Phuket plane is the fastest option to get to the island, as its trip duration is just 1 hour 25 minutes and flight cost start from $40.

Watching the sunset at Karon Beach, feeling the tranquility and beauty
Today, I finally came to Karon Beach. I heard that the sunset here is particularly beautiful, so I have been looking forward to it. Unlike Patong Beach, the atmosphere here is quieter, like a gentle girl. As the sun slowly sinks into the sea, the sky gradually dyes a layer of orange, and the waves gently slap the beach, as if whispering to me. At this moment, I feel that my soul has been purified, and all the troubles have been blown away by the sea breeze.
The sun has completely fallen into the horizon, and the sky is gradually darkening. I know it's time to leave. But my heart is full of satisfaction and gratitude, because this sunset is really too beautiful, making me feel the magic of nature. Next time I come to Karon Beach, I will definitely choose to watch the sunset quietly here.
