Educational Creatures of the Night Show
#weekendgetaways
Singapore Night Safari is a unique and captivating wildlife attraction that offers visitors a chance to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom after dark. Guests embark on a tram ride through different geographical zones, each designed to replicate a specific habitat. These zones include the Himalayan Foothills, Southeast Asian Rainforest, and Indian Subcontinent, among others. The dimly lit pathways and carefully concealed lighting allow visitors to witness the animals in their element without disturbing their nocturnal activities.
One of the main highlights of the Night Safari experience is the "Creatures of the Night Show," which showcases the incredible talents of the animals that thrive under the cover of darkness. This mesmerizing performance takes place in a purpose-built amphitheater and showcases the incredible abilities of some of the park's residents. The show provides an opportunity to appreciate the unique talents of these nighttime animals. The show is not only entertaining but also educational, as it sheds light on the behaviors and adaptations that help these creatures thrive in the darkness.
Discover Wildlife Animals at Night Safari
#wecreate
The Night Safari in Singapore is a popular tourist attraction. It is located within the grounds of the Singapore Zoo and offers visitors a unique opportunity to observe and learn about nocturnal animals in their naturalistic habitats. You can expect to see a wide range of wildlife animals such as elephants, lions, tapirs, rhinoceroses, and many more.
Upon entering, you can board an open-air tram that takes you on a guided tour through different geographical zones of the park. Could be a long queue especially during peak seasons. An informative commentary is provided during the tram ride, offering insights into the animals and their habitats. If you are more adventurous, there are several walking trails within the Night Safari. These trails allow visitors to explore the park on foot and get closer to some of the exhibits. You can follow the marked trails and discover animals like leopards, fishing cats, wallabies, and various nocturnal bird species.
There are several dining options available within the Night Safari, such as Satay, Chendol, Nasi Briyani, Tandoori Chicken, Naan Platter and ice cream. You can buy nice souvenirs from the shops at the exit. I particularly like the Legos.
Opening Hours: 7:15pm to 12:00am (last entry at 11:15pm)

Night Safari Singapore
#passionpassport
Went in about 7pm on a Thursday night. It was just in time for tram ride. Perfect timing for the ride as it was right before sunset. After the ride we went for walking trails and managed to see many nocturnal creatures in their habitat. There was night show available for booking 2h before show time. Animals were well trained with good interaction with the trainers.
Don’t miss the night safari in Singapore
Only in Singapore is it possible to go to the Zoo at night! Please add the location to your to-go list! To cut down on the time spent waiting to enter the zoo, just buy the tickets on Klook! A nice reminder that Safari offers tourists a free shuttle bus, so they shouldn't be concerned about transportation at all.
Enjoy!
Have you visited zoo at night?
It was quite a good experience viewing the animals during the night at The Night Safari #singapore. May spend up to few hours for few activities like tram riding, trail walk, catch a show and enjoy a meal there.

Singapore Night Safari is home to around 900 animals and classified as the world's first nocturnal wildlife park. See these spectacular animals in a different light, after the sun goes down. Explore six geographical zones on a 40-minute guided tram ride that takes you from the Himalayan hills to the Southeast Asian jungles. Take a walking trail for a closer view of the animal's nightly rituals, including Sri Lankan leopards studying their spots, and fishing cats hunting their prey in the river.
See animals as you've never seen them before at the world's first nocturnal wildlife park
Journey through six geographical zones onboard an English guided tram
Watch as the night comes to life with the nocturnal rituals of hundreds of animals...
A must Singapore-Do attraction!
As dusk falls, get ready as over 1,000 nocturnal animals start their nightly rituals. Come up close to them as they frolic, graze and hunt. With an exciting tram ride that takes you through 7 geographical regions and more, embark on a fascinating journey through the world's very first wildlife night park. The Tram will take you around most of the park within 45 mins and get you the comfort of familiarity of knowing the park and sections, then you can get back at the start destination and walk the trials you missed, but knowing where your going. Kids loved the Tigers and Hyena area. The whole purpose of the park at night is to feel natural for the guests ‘in the jungle’, and for the animals so if you don’t like dimmed lit streets (like moonlight) and walking cemented sometimes tight trials spotting animals on hills, then maybe consider staying and just doing the tram and shows. This park is owned by the renowned Mandai Group and Animal Conservation is the key here, that is the priority and you can see how well the animals are looked after and catered for.
Final Tip, plan ahead and do the Tram, walk before you do the creatures of the night show. Pre book your seats for the show (free included in ticket) at the start of coming in (QR Booking system). We booked for 9.30 show (goes for about 20mins) we then had dinner (as park opens 7pmish) and quick bite before heading back to hotel.
.
If your taking kids, don’t stress them out in the earlier part of the day. They will need their strength for the walking at night.#tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog #themepark

A Thrilling Night
Visited the Night Safari after many years, and the experience was still as memorable. Spotting animals in the dark added to the thrill and excitement of the night. Be sure to catch the Creatures of the Night show! Hop on the tram in the early evening to easily spot animals from the ride while the sun is still up.#MustVisit
WildNight with WildLife
One of the fun experiences in Singapore if you're travelling with a kid. We booked our tickets via Trip.com which was pretty simple and straightforward. However, a time slot reservation is needed via a separate website. If you would like to catch the creatures of the night show, you have to book via their main website at least 2 hours before the showtime (7.30pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm). We booked the earliest entrance slot time at 7.15pm, but arrived before 7pm. There was already a long queue at the entrance when we arrived. Upon entry, I advise that you go straight for the tram ride to see the wild animals. Always a better idea to catch them while there is still a bit of light (will be more difficult to see in the dark). The tram ride takes around 30 minutes. After which, go straight for the animal show. If you queue early, you get to choose better seats and get to see the little animals up close! we sat right in front and centre, and had the best view in the house! After that, you can either choose to walk the various trails, or rejoin the queue for the tram for a 2nd round in case u miss any of the animals. we walked the Wallaby trail and half the East Lodge trail. For parents with young toddlers like us, best to bring your own stroller / rent one there for SGD8, but be careful not to bring too big a stroller or else it'll be quite tight in some places to maneuver it around! also, bring a raincoat, some insect repellent patches and water. Overall, it was a really fun experience and although we didnt get to see all of the animals (some were asleep/hiding like the asiatic lions and hippos - so dont go with too high hopes, animals are not always expected to put up a show for u!), we still got pretty up close with alot of cool animals! Love the experience, would definitely recommend it!
Nocturnal Wildlife at Night Safari
As the sun starts to set, the day is just beginning at Night Safari, the first nocturnal wildlife park in the world! 🌙 The park opens from 6.30pm to midnight daily and offers visitors a chance to see nocturnal animals that we don’t usually get to see elsewhere!
Take a guided tram tour around the zones to have a quick look and learn about some of these animals, in the comfort of sitting in a tram and observing them from afar. Have a leisurely post-dinner stroll along the 4 trails that are connected in one full circle around the park to these animals up close and read more about them.
The 4 trails can be comfortably completed in about 1-2 hours, but do save some time to catch the hourly Creatures of the Night show to be amazed by the skills and tricks of some of these night animals. Prior bookings are required due to limited seats and they open 2 hours before each show’s timeslot, so my advice is to immediately book a slot via the QR code at the entrance.

Taste of Malaysia
#moreinsg
Located just at the gates of the Night Safari, one of Singapore’s most iconic tourist attraction is ironically a foodcourt offering the foods of our neighbours, Malaysia with the name Taste of Malaysia. The two countries been so closely located, it’s hard to decide which food originated from which country, so the food choices at taste of Malaysia is definitely exactly what you would find in Singapore.
The quaint foodcourt offers Penang style char kway Tiao ( fried noodles), Chicken rice and satay among many other options, you can also settle for some New Zealand ice cream as dessert after,
Strange but true.
Night Safari : Creatures of the Night
#naturewonders
A short half hour after the opening of the night safari, the first nocturnal wildlife park in the world, the creature of the night show begins to entertains its guest who made their early arrival.
The 25 minutes show introduces the nocturnal predators and their display of prowess with their trainers such as the spotted hyenas, owls, otters and others.
There are four time slots to the show starting at 7.30pm and subsequently every hour until the last show at 10.30pm and the show happens only on fridays, Saturday, eve of public holidays and public holidays only, so be sure to book your seats as seats are limited.
Visit the Night Safari
Known as the first part nocturnal wildlife park in the world, the night safari is part of the Mandai wildlife reserve along with the Singapore Zoo, river wonders and Jurong Bird Park.
You can go through the entire park either on tram or you might try to go into the unknown that’s not touched by the trams by going on foot where you can spot more nocturnal animals like bats and cheetah to name a few.
What’s more? Each entry to the park has conservation included in the ticket, which includes the protection of endangered species and the education of youth to better understand how to protect our earth better, so you are making a difference just by visiting the night safari.

Dining at Night Safari
The ulu ulu safari restaurant used to be at the entrance plaza of Night Safari currently became a themed foodcourt of “A taste of Malaysia” which is very interesting considering that the Night Safari is a Singapore tourist attraction.
The place offers 300 seating and it is not air condition, it acts more like an expensive food court now. Prices are also more expensive than the Singapore Zoo.
Instead of ordering from a counter, you go to the individual stores just like a food court, my friends and I went to dine in after our visit to the night safari. It was rather late, at almost 10, so I guess we should count our blessing that we still have food options. Though many were running out.
But I will be honest, the experience at Singapore Zoo’s Ah Meng restaurant was much better.
There is also a New Zealand natural for you to eat ice cream to cool you down.

Creature of the night 🦉
I joined in the Creature of the Night Show at the Night Safari which we have to book it online via a QR code that is available only upon entry into the Night Safari. When I was here last year we had to physically queue for a spot so I missed the show.
It is a 25 minutes animal show where the super cute nocturnal animals come out to play and showcase their skills together with their trainers like a Eurasian Eagle owl's jaw-dropping 270 degrees neck twist.
Or how stealthy it flies when and the athleticism of the fennec fox when it jumps, the sensitive smelling senses of the spotted hyenas, as well as the performance of many other animals

Must See: Creature of the Night show
I will always recommend Night Safari to my overseas friends because it is a night time zoo. Plus it is also the world’s first zoo for nocturnal animals, it is definitely a must visit.
The ticket has the guided tram ride included to tour around night safari. But I recommend you to do the trekking on foot. There are proper pathways for trekking and also plenty of directional signboards. So there is no need to worry about getting lost. It does get pretty dark and I always will have my maglite or my phone torchlights for navigation.
One time, I also went trekking at Night Safari during the Ghost Festival month. Ok, nothing abnormal but kinda fun to trek in the dark.
Their daily night show ‘Creatures of the Night’ is a must watch too. There is this segment whereby a giant snake is hidden under the audience bench, which it had removed from the show. Now they will just ask for a volunteer on stage and bring the snake onto his/her shoulder. It is pretty entertaining.
Unique Experience at the Zoo!
For first-timers, it is a definitrly must-visit attraction in Singapore. Ensure enjoy the tram ride and cooling night hike through the rainforest!!
There's also a free fire show at 645pm at the entrance.
You wont be able to see some of the animals like the tapir, flamingos, deer, buffaloes etc if u dont take the tram. The place is abit dark but on a cool night, the snimals are quite active so have fun spotting where they are! Tram ride plus trail will take u about 3.5hrs. There's a creature of the night show which requires early booking be sure to book early! It was definitely something unique and I'll be back
Also do note that the bat and flying fox enclosures are closed due to covid.

Night Safari
📍80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
Night Safari is Singapore’s iconic tourist attraction and also the world’s first safari park designed for nocturnal animals. Feeling excited to take a look at it.🐒
I entered on 7:10pm. Took the tram once entered the safari. 🚃 The tram will take the tourists around the whole safari, passing some main viewpoint with English commentary. But you can’t be lucky enough to see all the animals as some of them have rested. The tram takes no more than one hour.
You would get off the tram around the entry, then you could walk around the 4 trails they have, which you can closely look at some of the animals. 🐈You could start from fishing cat trail and keep going and end with wallaby trail, where you could easily go back to the entry/exit. The map and indicators are very clear, and the route design is also very reasonable, so you won’t get lost and don’t need to go back often.
I like the lion and flamingo, 🦩and an Indian rhino, which is huge but friendly, and can be very very close to see. 🦏But it’s really hard to take some good picture if you don’t have an amazing phone or camera. 📷

Night Safari is a good combination with visiting the Zoo.
You can see 2 different Shows:
1. a Fire Show
2. the creatures of the night
I recommend you to take the tram around the park first to get an overview and then walk the trails.
You get really close to bats🦇, lions 🦁, wallabies, tigers 🐅 or different small animals.
This experience is really nice if you have kids.

Exploring the night zoo, the animals are smashing at night
An animal show called "The Elf of the Night" is the ace of the Singapore Night Zoo. The
show begins with a black, sloppy, docile and honest animal. Its less light body crawled on the shoulders of the animal trainer, and it was dark and even difficult to distinguish between the five senses. Its task is to complete a small game to guess where the food is, in conjunction with the on-site invited children. At the same time, the whimsical owls that always appear in some funny videos flew past the theater and fell honestly on the staff's arms. Later, it appeared to be called a leopard cat. The "selling point" can be vacated to reach about 5 times its own height. Sure enough, the breeder threw a large piece of meat high, only to see the leopard cat jump agilely, slamming, the meat fell into its mouth. The speed is too fast, and I can't clearly capture the most exciting moments. Next, it was the turn of the big python that was 5 meters deep. Perhaps it was too nervous and excited. The lady just fell into a big head as soon as she entered the scene, and she came back to the world in front of everyone. Then it was the turn of Mr. Raccoon and two cute little mice to perform. Their task is to put garbage such as bottles into the trash can. Don't look at the chubby face of the classmates. The embarrassing look is so cute. The night action show lasts for about 35 minutes. It is recommended to sit in the front row, so you will have the opportunity to get in touch with the little animals.
Interesting and Unique Experience
#singaporetrip Night safari was high on my to do list and it was great! We watched the show in the amphitheater before heading in to explore. So many cool animals who look well cared for and comfortable in their environments. There were some kids whose parents didn’t stop them from turning their phone torches on to try to ”find” the animals - the visibility further into the enclosures can be poor but if you patiently wait and keep your eyes peeled you’ll see the animals without.
Night safari
#singaporetrip This was an awesome way to end the night! Enjoyed everything about the night safari, from walking around, the show, and tram ride. Sometimes it’s hard to see some of the animals because it’s dark, and sometimes they’re not moving much, but when you see them active it’s amazing! I was able to watch feeding time of the porcupines up close and personal and it was fascinating. I’d advise walking around first rather than waiting for the tram ride when you get in there. Also, I recommend getting an easier slot if you really want to look at everything. Once you’re in there you have all the time in the world! It was amazing seeing Chawang the king of night safari at the end on the tram ride too. I will definitely be coming back.

Night Safari Adventure Guide at the Enchanted Forest of Lights
🦜🐯🦒🌳🌴🌲🎇🎆🌟🌌🦋🐒🔍📸
If you're planning a trip to Singapore, you definitely shouldn't miss the latest family-friendly hotspot—the 'Enchanted Forest of Lights' multimedia light show at the Night Safari. It's a very special experience that lets you explore the mystery and fantasy of the zoo at night.
🌃🌉🎡🎢🐘🦒
First, you need to purchase tickets. You can buy them online one day in advance or at the venue. Adult tickets are about 95 Singapore dollars, and children's tickets are about 68 Singapore dollars. It is recommended to take a taxi to the zoo, as taxi fares in Singapore are quite reasonable. If you want to experience public transportation, you can take the Mandai Express from Exit A of Khatib subway station, which takes about 15 minutes to reach the zoo.
🐾🌳🌴🌲🦋🐒
After arriving at the zoo, you can first tour the zoo and enjoy various wildlife and plants. The zoo closes at 18:00 during the day, and the first 'Enchanted Forest of Lights' multimedia light show starts at 19:30. The exhibition is one kilometer long, filled with fantasy and fun, and visitors enter the park in different sessions each day. You can choose a free animal wristband to participate in the subsequent multimedia interaction. The exhibition will continue until February next year.
📸🎇🌟🌌
Here, you can take very beautiful photos, filled with fireflies and dreamy light effects. You can also enjoy the 'Rainforest Guardians' composed of 8 virtual animals, which are very lifelike, making you feel as if you are in a mysterious rainforest.
In summary, the 'Enchanted Forest of Lights' multimedia light show is a very special experience that lets you explore the mystery and fantasy of the zoo at night. If you like photography and adventure, then you must come for a visit.
Singapore Night Safari Guide, remember to walk on foot!
Singapore is visa-free now!! Why not rush over~ I heard a lot of people say before that the Night Safari is a scam, you can't see anything at all, but I still wanted to see what it was like~ Luckily I went, because I really found it interesting, but you have to know how to enjoy it to discover the different fun!
-
🕦Operating Hours: 19:00-24:00
However, you can enter after 18:00, so you can finish dinner before coming in!
🔁Tour Order
Walking on foot - Watching animal shows - Taking the tram
1️⃣ 'Creatures of the Night' Show Time: 21:45
I personally don't think it's interesting, no need to watch it specifically!
2️⃣ 'Spirits of the Night' Show Time: 19:30 21:00 22:30 (this show is only available on public holidays)
You can book up to two hours in advance! So as soon as you enter the park, you can book for the 21:00 show, don't take the tram yet. Often, there are a lot of people taking the tram right after the park opens, and fewer as it gets later, so start with walking on foot.
✔️Walking: The whole journey takes about 2-3 hours, and I personally think the most interesting part is walking on foot, it feels like a night adventure~ There are four walking trails in the park, follow the map and walk through them, you can see a lot of animals that you can't see from the tram, and some animals will be very close! There will also be some animal performances~
✔️Shows: About 20 minutes, with a plot design, you need to enter five minutes in advance, otherwise, you have to wait five minutes to enter because birds fly over your head at the start of the show.
✔️Tram: The whole journey takes about 30 minutes, with commentary in both Chinese and English (Chinese requires advance booking), it is recommended to sit on the right side, the experience is really just so-so. But since you're here, you should still take it~
-
‼️Tips:
1️⃣ The last shuttle bus from the zoo back to Khatib MRT station is at 00:00, be mindful of the time!
2️⃣ It can rain suddenly, remember to bring an umbrella!
3️⃣ There are a lot of mosquitoes, make sure to bring mosquito repellent~
4️⃣ Absolutely do not use flash photography, it can startle the animals.
New discovery to night safari
First time visiting night safari and it blew my mind away. Walking in semi darkness and sometimes apart from your friends made the journey seems so peaceful and out of this world.
Even with the tram ride, being up close and personal with the animals without any barriers is so new.
Such an amazing and well thought out attraction that I can’t wait to come back again to enjoy.#singaporenightsafari
Night Safari
#singaporetrip Visiting a zoo at night was new , and I never expected it would be this great experience.
The place is maintained well and clean . It never feels like a zoo with caged animals, feels like being in forest the natural habitat of the animals
There is a show near the entrance but it’s recommended to first go to trams and the restaurants usually run out of stock at later hours. It is better to get the early slots around 715 pm
Unless you have the perfect equipment taking pictures her won’t do justice ,But there is a crew here taking portraits of you which you can collect after paying
There is a shop inside which you would definitely find good to shop.
[Explore SG] Visiting the Nocturnal Animals
#freehotelstay There’s something about visiting a Night Safari. Other than avoiding the glaring sun in the day, you get the experience of being stared at by pairs of eyes glowing in the dark.
If visiting the zoo was an eye-opening experience, then visiting the night safari would be a sensational one. As you watch the nocturnal animals go about their business, there’s a sense of excitement shrouded by mystery in the cool darkness, as if something dangerous was about to pop out in the next corner, or a tingling feeling that you were being watched by the night animals, more clearly than you could look at them.
If this is the experience you’re looking for, you have to visit Night Safari Singapore.
