Spring is the perfect time to enjoy the scenery, and Kobe Port is bursting with the colors of the season
As spring arrives in the Northern Hemisphere, every place is filled with the essence of spring. Kobe, as a port city in the Kansai region, has also fully embraced the spring atmosphere.
Thanks to the recent abundance of sunshine, the Kawazu cherry trees along the Kobe Saigawa River are in full bloom. On the Nadahama Greenery, which is one of the selected beaches, the rapeseed flowers are blooming vigorously. These two different types of flowers interweave here, just like the inscription on the stone monument reads: 'Rapeseed flowers, the moon in the east, the sun in the west.' On weekends in spring, this place awaits the arrival of those who come to enjoy the flowers.
The Kawazu cherry trees at dusk and the Nadahama Bridge are Kobe's most beautiful pairing. Under the lights, the Kawazu cherry trees reflect a pinkish-white glow, making the red Nadahama Bridge look even more spectacular. The old site of the Kobe checkpoint is also a place where flowers bloom profusely, with African marigolds planted in the flower beds and the brightly blooming beautiful Galsang flowers filling Kobe with the breath of spring.
The plum blossoms in Kobe's various shrines are also showing off their beauty with their last blooms, and the cherry blossoms, ready to take over the essence of spring, are revealing their tiny buds. In two weeks, this place will be a magnificent scene of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
