#Liupanshan National Forest Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
This is not Yunnan, this is Ningxia
Here is Guyuan, Ningxia, which is known as 'Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall', and it's not just a boast.
⛰️ Liupan Mountain National Forest Park has a forest coverage rate of over 80%, located in the central triangle area formed by Xi'an, Yinchuan, and Lanzhou, situated in the southern part of Ningxia. The main peak of Liupan Mountain, Migang Mountain, has an elevation of 2942 meters, with a forest coverage rate of over 80%, an average annual temperature of 5.8℃, and an annual precipitation of 676mm, making it an ideal summer retreat. Visiting here in summer is simply perfect.
Personal experience: After entering the scenic area through the main gate, I took a shuttle bus to Xiaonanchuan. After getting off, I entered via the waterway. Along the way, the mountains were green, the water was clear, and it was exceptionally cool. Breathing in the fresh air, I began to clear my mind, and all worries dissipated. It was incredibly comfortable – don't even mention how relaxing it was! There is also a museum on the mountain. The museum is not large, but it contains introductions to all the wildlife of Liupan Mountain, as well as many insect specimens.
‼ The waterway is slippery, so it's best to wear comfortable sports shoes; the altitude of the scenic area is high, remember to wear warm clothes; there are various kinds of noodles, grilled sausages, corn, and pancakes available in the scenic area.

The shade is spring-like, the air is thick with spring, the garden full of blooming flowers... The spring beauty is splendid, the spring light is vibrant, a few branches of spring apricot add dots of light to the spring...' This 'Spring Poem' by Zheng Banqiao, a great literary figure of the Qing Dynasty, vividly depicts the beautiful spring scenery of the April outing.

Who would have thought that within Ningxia, one could witness the scenery of Ili
🌈 Xiaonanchuan primitive forest, super photogenic, really love it
🍂 The best hiking route is to enter via Xiaonanchuan water route and exit by land!
🚶 The hiking distance is about 7 kilometers, taking photos along the way won't be too tiring. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to tour the area, including photo time

🚖 Mode of transportation
Self-driving
🌵 Staying in Jingyuan County, about 20 kilometers from the scenic area, there is a parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, which charges a fee, seems to be 10 yuan.
🍀 Bought the tickets online, 80 yuan for adults, 64 yuan for students, including round-trip shuttle bus. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach Xiaonanchuan by bus. You can take photos at the entrance of Xiaonanchuan, and after that, you can take the water route in.🍀 The water route has streams, moss, and forests, truly a natural oxygen bar, a great place to escape the heat.
💫 After walking for a while, you will see signposts, health trails, and up there is a primitive forest. The photos I took with the wooden plank road were taken here, after taking photos, continue along the water route. When you reach the Yunnv Waterfall, you have completed the water route
💫 Then return by land, don't take the sightseeing bus!! Continue walking back, and you will pass through the primitive forest again. Unleash your photography skills to take beautiful photos, making the trip worthwhile!!
💫 Liangdian Gorge, it takes only 10 minutes to walk through, not much to see. However, the grassland in Liangdian Gorge is quite beautiful for photos. After taking photos, you can take the scenic area bus back, note that the return trip is directly to the entrance of the scenic area, the bus does not stop at Xiaonanchuan!
🚶 About clothing
Wear a windbreaker, work pants, plus long johns, a thin sweater, just right! Be sure to wear non-slip shoes
🏃 About equipment
Bring a walking stick, it can support you while walking, and serve as a prop for photos, instantly transforming you into a martial arts hero
🍜 About food and drink
No need to bring too much, the food in the scenic area is not expensive, grilled sausages are 10 yuan for three. We just brought a few pieces of bread and a bottle of water each. That's enough!

There is a place at the southernmost tip of Ningxia. It is mild and humid all year round, rich in water resources, dense in forests and grasses, and has a forest coverage rate of more than 80%. It is called a green island on the Loess Plateau. There are mountains and waters here. However, it is like Jiangnan. This is the Liupanshan Forest Park in Guyuan, Ningxia. Liupanshan National Forest Park is located in the south of Ningxia. The annual average temperature is only 5.8 °C. Therefore, there has always been a saying that spring is coming to autumn without summer, and it has become the average relative humidity of 60-70% of the summer paradise for many people. It is an important water conservation forest base in the northwest. Xiaonanchuan is the main scenic spot in Liupanshan Forest Park. Because Sichuan is also known as the river, it is also known as Xiaonan River. It is a pure natural landscape composed of a 3km long canyon. It is the ten most beautiful canyon in China. one. The first time I enter Xiaonanchuan, I strongly recommend that you choose to go down the waterway to enjoy the hydrophilic journey. The beauty of the day is beautiful. The day I came to Xiaonanchuan is sunny, and the sun shines into the valley to form the wonderful Dingdal. Light (cum Jesus light), the warm sun shines through the leaves, and looking up is beautiful. Xiaonanchuan's negative oxygen ion content has reached 40,000 cubic meters. It is called Tianyang Oxygen Bar. If you are here for the first time, you only need to breathe in a big mouth. Along the way, there are sounds of flowing water everywhere. When the water is clear, there are countless pebbles in the river. The road is full of dead branches and leaves. When there are not many tourists, you can enjoy the beauty of the road. Xiaonanchuan has a comfortable temperature, is a natural summer resort, and there are clusters of green trees on both sides of the canyon. It is also a great place to take pictures. There are so many small waterfalls along the way, just a big shot. Walking on the leaves falling in the wind, listening to the sound of flowing water, a glimpse of the relaxed and elegant appearance of Xiao Nanchuan. Along the way, you can see a lot of plants on the road. The good ecological environment, the rich flora and fauna and insect resources and the profound historical and cultural heritage make it known as the green pearl on the Loess Plateau and the cool and win-win environment. The canyon is not long and will soon be able to reach the end. At the end of the Xiaonanchuan Gorge is the natural waterfall of Xiaonanchuan, which is known as the Dragon Girl Bathing. The waterfall of the natural water flow is rushing down, and the spray beads are splashed with jade, and the water splashes, which is very spectacular. After finishing the Xiaonanchuan Gorge, you will embark on the road of returning. If you are not in a hurry, it is recommended not to take a ferry. You can follow the road to the towering larch, all the way is flat and very good. The sky is high and the air is fresh. It is far away from the reinforced concrete land of the city. One person is immersed in the wilderness of the virgin forest. The sun shines through the treetops. It is very artistic, like Alice in Wonderland, water has water. The tenderness of the mountain, the mountain has the rigidity of the mountain, and the combination of mountains and rivers complements each other in Xiaonanchuan. Since the reconstruction of Jiuzhaigou disaster, people have lost a place of water. If you like this landscape, this autumn, it is a good choice to visit Liupanshan Forest Park.

Liupan Mountain has always had the saying that "spring goes to autumn and there is no summer". The main peak, Mi Cangshan, is 2,942 meters above sea level. It is on the main peak and overlooking the fog. Sunrise clouds open, only to see the heavy stacks, endless, spring and green trees, the world is clear; summer is cool and pleasant, unique scenery; autumn leaves are full of mountains, the forest is full of dyeing;
Liupan Mountain is a mountainous area in western China, located at the junction of Ningxia, Gansu and Shaanxi. More than 200 kilometers, about 3,000 meters above sea level. It is a majestic majestic, traversing the three provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia. It is both a natural barrier to the Guanzhong Plain and an important watershed in the north.

Visiting the Xiaonanchuan scenic spot, the walk is divided into two kinds of roads, namely the waterway and the dry road. We choose to go from the waterway, back from the dry road, the waterway is relatively narrow, and we must be extra careful when walking. It is basically along the stream, accompanied by the sound of the water. The width is narrow and there are ups and downs. Most of the roads along the waterway are more convenient for walking. If the two people are in parallel, it is very difficult. When walking, pay special attention to safety. The road is narrow, but it is not too difficult to walk. Another point to be reminded is that when going to Xiaonanchuanjing, you should go to the bathroom in advance, because there is a natural landscape along the way, and there is no bathroom in the middle. In the first half of the waterway of Xiaonanchuan, basically all the way is very comfortable, there is no steep slope, and there is no road that is too difficult to walk, but there are some rugged mountain roads, sometimes crossing gravel, sometimes encountering stone. The order, and some mossy boulders, seem to give a very refreshing feeling. It is best to walk quickly in the first half, enjoy the scenery in the second half, take photos, wait for yourself to shoot, and the people behind will catch up, neither dragging the hind legs and enjoying the more beautiful scenery.

The green of Liupan Mountain is rich and rich, with a distinct layering. Standing on the heights, you can see the mountains and green waves rolling in layers, almost without seeing the color of the mountain rocks. Even the clouds floating in the mountains seem to be green and revealing water. This kind of green is in my eyes, and how can I feel happy?

Liupan Mountain is the only place in the north section of the eastern section of the ancient Silk Road. It is a strong fortress in the dynasties of the dynasties. It is also the combination of the northern nomadic culture and the Central Plains culture. The ancient multi-ethnics lived here. The
cultural heritage is characterized by ancient, expensive and multiple and is one of the youngest mountains in China.

Who can think of such a green mountain and green water in Ningxia, making Liupan Mountain a "green island" on the Loess Plateau. In Liupanshan, feel the quietness of the south of the Yangtze River, walk on the waterway of Xiaonanchuan and enjoy the unique beauty scenery!
said that the average annual precipitation in Ningxia is about 200 mm, and the evaporation is 2,000 mm. In Ningxia, it is difficult to encounter rainy weather. Guyuan is a rare city with a little precipitation.
Small Nanchuan of Liupanshan is also known as Xiaojiuzhai. The scenery is beautiful and charming, not Jiangnan, but it is like Jiangnan. I can't believe that I was in the northwest, in Ningxia. The scenery of each season is completely different!

The first time I came to Ningxia, I came to Guyuan and subverted all the imaginations of Ningxia in my mind. I imagined that there would be Gobi Yellow Sand and Qitiandi, but when I walked into Liupanshan National Forest Park, I really walked into the plug. Jiangnan, the prosperous vegetation, the sloping river, really makes you a little unbelievable.
The main attraction of Liupanshan Park is Xiaonanchuan. The waterfalls in Liutan are shaded by trees and have the reputation of Little Jiuzhai.

Guyuan, the city built in 114 BC, the place where the Silk Road must pass, one of the nine towns in the Ming Dynasty. Well-known attractions in Guyuan include Liupanshan National Forest Park and Huoshizhai. A natural forest landscape, a natural geological landscape.
Liupanshan is not unfamiliar to everyone, it is the end of the Red Army's long march. Green trees, streams, flowers and insects give people a feeling of returning to Sichuan. Perhaps for a Sichuanese, there are scenic spots with mountains, water, birds and grasses, which are too common, but for the people of Ningxia, it is really stuffed with Jiangnan. When you take the highway from Yinchuan to Guyuan, you will see the ridiculous hills without a long grass. This strong contrast is enough.

Liupanshan National Forest Park is rich in forest vegetation and animals. The lush forest makes people feel like they are back in the water town of Jiangnan. The
forest park mainly has four scenic spots: Yehe Valley, Xiaonanchuan, Liangdianxia and Erlonghe.
This time our focus is on Xiaopanchuan, the ace of Liupanshan. This is a stream that flows down the mountain and is one of the main sources of the Weihe River. It consists of many scenic spots such as Gushutan, Xiangsi Water, Birch Bend, Red Birch Forest, Flying Stream, Dragon Girl Bathing and so on.
The route of the tour is to follow the stream, shooting the winding water, the stream is crystal clear, the river flows down the valley and forms a small rapids. This is the drowning water that has been known as a clear stream for thousands of years, but in the end it will flow into the Weihe River, which is called turbidity, and it is a pity that it is in the same place.

It is also a military fortress that has been battling for generations. Close to this, I remembered that the ancients had persuaded the monarch to make a cup of wine, and the West went out to the Yangguan for no reason. The drunkenness of the sand field, Jun Moxiao, the ancients who fought a few people back to the heroic, and even the yellow sands to wear gold armor, not broken Loulan The vow not to return. Liupanshan National Forest Park is located in Luheyuan Town, Wuyuan County, Guyuan City. Liupan Mountain is the combination of Zhongyuan farming culture and northern nomadic culture. It is the only place in the northern section of the ancient Silk Road. It is also a battle for the dynasties. The military fortress, Liupanshan National Forest Park is the deepest point in the southernmost part of Liupan Mountain, and it is also the most concentrated place in the Liupan Mountain.
Liupan Mountain has always had the saying that "spring goes to autumn without summer", and it is on the main peak overlooking the fog, and the clouds are vast. When the sunrise clouds open, I see a lot of overlaps. The scenery of the scenic spot is good. Xiaonanchuan is the ace of Liupanshan. We will not miss it. It is also one of the main sources of the Weihe River. When I came to Xiaonanchuan, I mainly watched the water. I walked along the river and walked through the jungle. Looking at a large piece of green. It is composed of many scenic spots such as Gushutan, Xiangsi Water, Birch Bend, Red Birch Forest, Flying Stream, Dragon Girl Bathing and so on. Flowing waterfalls, known as the "small Jiuzhai" reputation.
