Nice Affordable Steak at Santafe 🥩
There are many branches of Santafe restaurants at department stores all over Thailand. They sell a variety of steaks and pastas.
This particular restaurant I visited was at Central Plaza Salaya in Nakhon Pathom province south of Bangkok.
They have many promotional menus which are quite cheap and tasty. I also enjoy the mushroom soup here very much.
This combination of steak and sausage with soup costs around 200 baht.

Japanese Food Fair at Central Salaya 🍜
Japan Signature 2022, a food fair, is now being held at Central Plaza Salaya in Nakhon Pathom province until December 5.
There are many Japanese food vendors to try but this ramen pop-up restaurant is the most attractive place because it's the biggest.
Kyodai Ramen is a brand originated in Bangkok. There are a few branches in the outskirts of this city.
I tried Tonkotsu Ramen today. It was not the best I've ever had, but still it was OK.
Getting there : Bus 515 from Victory Monument in Bangkok.

Grilled Salmon at Zen Restaurant 🐟
One Japanese restaurant chain that is quite popular and can be found in most parts of Thailand is Zen Restaurant, especially at Central Department Stores.
It now offers a la carte, buffet, and set menus.
Today, I went to Central Salaya Department Store to try this new grilled salted salmon set menu.
It comes with kimchi, potato salad, miso soup, and panacotta as dessert.
The grilled salted salmon was OK though it's a bit bland and not as salty as I expected. But it does come in large portion.
The side dishes were not bad.
Anyway, I admired the panacotta the most. It's the best thing to end the meal.
Salmon set : 299++
Refillable green tea : 30++

New Lava Menu at Yayoi Restaurant 🍛
If you go to any department store in most parts of Thailand, you' ll likely find this popular Japanese restaurant called Yayoi.
Well, it's a Japanese restaurant with more of a Thai taste in my opinion.
It's actually a sister restaurant of MK, the most famous sukiyaki restaurant in Thailand.
Today, I went to Central Salaya Department Store and tried the new (egg) lava menu called Truffle Tori Buta Lava consisting of egg, chicken, and pork with a truffle sauce.
It was...edible but I didn't get much from the truffle sauce.
Moreover, there's no slimy lava of egg yolk coming out when you try to separate the omlette in half like those from authentic Japanese places.
It's worth a try though.
Lava dish = 189 baht
Refillable green tea = 30 baht
