Hidden attraction in Gardens by the Bay!
#fallishere #weekendgetaways #singapore
Visitors always visit Gardens by the Bay because of its beautiful and magical supertree observatory especially at night. But there is also interesting attraction for nature lover which is the Sun Pavilion!
I love it here because there are a lot of castus species with the desert-like landscapes. With over 1000 desert plants and gigantic bizzare-looking cactus! It is free admission and opens daily from 5am - 2am.
Other attraction such as a big aquarium where I saw an aligator and other rare fish.

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay! 🎉
Christmas Wonderland is returning to Gardens by the Bay.
Back for the 10th time, this fair will transform more than 27,000 square meters of land into a Christmas wonderland from Dec 1 to Jan 1.
It will be divided into 3 distinct zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty's Fairground at The Meadow, and Gingerbread Grove. The main highlight, Spalliera, will be located at Supertree Grove, and draws inspiration from Mesola Castle in Northern Italy. This structure, adorned with a handcrafted light display of 103,000 bulbs, is a towering 20 meters tall.
Visitors can dive into an immersive experience called Blizzard Time, which brings snowfall to the tropical island. Alongside this, a captivating light show will be projected onto the surrounding trees, perfectly synchronized with the Christmas soundtracks.
With its light displays, festive activities, and carnival rides, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay promises to be an extraordinary celebration.

🇸🇬 Gardens by the Bay ❤️
#singapore
What an experience The whole gardens are incredible – literally some of the most beautiful ones you can imagine.
This was our first visit to Singapore and one of the main attractions we definitely wanted to see again is the parks by the bay. This place is an unpairably maintained botanical garden consisting of two main enclosed structures: the Dome of Flowers and the Dome of the Cloud Forest. Both of these enclosures are oversized and air-conditioned, making for a relaxing and enjoyable time while admiring the many plants and art statues – regardless of the outdoor weather.
Besides flower domes and cloud forests, there are many other interesting and worthwhile attractions: the Fairy Floral Dome, Skyway, the Supertree Observatory and Bod Park. With all these different landmarks, you have to plan to stay for a full day here at Jars by the Bay to see it all.
Even just walking outdoors around the “supernatural trees” area is so much fun and interesting to marvel at these very tall structures. It is therefore highly recommended to use Gardence Bay the Bay while in Singapore.🇸🇬

Chrysanthemum Exhibition At Night
#wheretogo
It is a routine for us as we would visit every exhibition in the flower dome from a day and night setting and enjoy it from different light as the difference is pretty much night and day (excuse the pun). With lesser crowd because the tourists head off to catch the more popular attractions of Gardens by the bay and perhaps the lesser popularity of chrysanthemum we managed to get nicer photos with the empty spots!
It was fun to see the animal sets under the moonlight, but we found this exhibition to have more blue in terms of the light that is emitted than the other past exhibition, making it less romantic and more unique of a display this time around.
Remember to look out for the 80 different kind of chrysanthemum varieties and spot those live size animals!

This time, gardens by the bay is showcasing the Mongolian theme called chrysanthemum charms showing casing more than 80 over different flowers in the exhibit. There are also replicas of the traditional costume that the Mongolian villages wear and the different animals and lifestyle they practised.

A Whirlwind Visit: Gardens by the Bay
#singaporetrip
🗓️ October , 2023
During my short layover in Singapore, I went on a captivating stroll through Gardens by the Bay, a true masterpiece of nature and technology. I took a taxi from the airport to marina sands square.
Starting from Marina Sands Square just behind it, the garden greeted me with lush greenery and the iconic Supertree Grove in the daytime, a sight that left me in awe.
As I explored, I couldn't help but imagine the enchanting transformation this place undergoes at night when the supertrees come alive with lights.
Gardens by the Bay is a testament to Singapore's commitment to harmoniously blending the urban with the natural, and it left me inspired and yearning for more adventures in this city.

Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay
Braving the friday night crowd, I went and see the lights before the closing weekend. As this is a yearly event, it's amazing how it will be executed each time. Went off to watch the light show first which was packed. Then off to the food stalls for dinner. The food was okay, I guess typical food selections for festivals/events in Singapore. Oh and a bit pricey. There were tables around the food tent with a view of the super trees. After eating, we went around and took photos of the different installations scattered around the gardens. My favorite installation would be the one in my cover photo. There were also festival games available to kill time. As this is one of the festivals I'm looking forward to, I can't wait for next year's!

Walking trail at Gardens by the Bay
#citywalk
The Gardens by the Bay are located next to the Marina Reservoir and offer breathtaking water views.
I love to explore the outdoor themed gardens because there are so much to see and experience.
Generally considered an easy route, you'll encounter other people while exploring and enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
Do the walk early in the morning or late evening and enjoy the simple stroll and clean path.

If you are wondering why they are so cute and kids like imagination then you are right!
Some of these lanterns are designed by students from Art:Dis. Which is a school for autistic kids and this time they get to express their creative through the lanterns.
I love how they were so many garden creatures for kids to learn about them too. It was fun to see kids guessing what they were. Spot animals such as a caterpillar, snail, chameleon and an elephant.
There is also a lantern lane where hundreds of lanterns are displayed and all of them are from people from different walks of life.
Bunnies In The Garden
#citywalk
If you are wondering why are there so many cute bunnies on display. This year is the year of the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac calendar. Though usually rabbits are also featured during mid autumn because it is said that they are Chang Er’s companion.
(Chang Er is the goddess of the moon and famous for drinking an elixir to prevent an enemy from stealing it.)
We think the bunnies lanterns is really cute! Sometimes the lanterns aren’t cute you know. GBTB even made some of the bunnies movable (no touching please).
Some of them are seen playing with lanterns, eating mooncakes or simply walking around the gardens under the moonlight.
Gardens Of Bloom
#citywalk
Join me in my walk at Gardens By The Bay moonlight walk at this year’s Mid Autumn festival lantern light up. Admission is free, and this year I went on a dry night 😅. Last year it was pouring so badly.
There are many huge lanterns, I felt it was one of the nicer once. Such as the golden moon gate at the entrance, the classic Chinese pavilion, all of which is life size.
Near the dragonfly lake which is near the train station is the magpie bridge about the story of cowherd and weaver girl.
My favourite after then golden moon gate is definitely then lanna lanterns.

Highlights - Mid Autumn celebrations at gardens by the bay
My husband and I took a city walk to the gardens by the bay during the night time. We took a train there. We alighted at the bayfront station and started our journey from there. We love how beautiful the place was. We took a slow walk around the place while taking pictures of the place. It was a very relaxing walk and we enjoyed the walk. Last year we came here during the mid autumn festive season too, and we loved how the atmosphere was. Seeing kids carrying their favourite lantern, lighting up the place.

Gardens next to the bay
Exploring Singapore’s bay gardens was a breathtaking immersion in a futuristic park oasis. Supertree Grove, famous for its vertical gardens and dazzling lighting screens, had a visual feast. Walking along the OCBC Skyway offers panoramic views of the park and the city skyline. Great view there! You can walk on the terrace for a nicer view of the garden. Also to see the Marina Bay Hotel. The cloud flower and forest dome was exposed to diverse vegetation, and the cloud forest full of fog was particularly charming. Outdoor parks, such as heritage gardens, dragonflakes and kinereserven, provided a quiet haven. Attention to sustainable gardening and eco-friendly practices was commendable. Gulf Gardens is a must-have visit for nature lovers, photographers and anyone looking for a quiet and future experience in Singapore
Very nice indeed the gardens are beautifully designed. It is very comfortable to be indoors where the atmosphere was great.
Easy access to the bay gardens. The ladies at the box office are very comfortable and helpful. Great parks and attractions make sure you have plenty of time to walk around and sightseeing

#singapore #gardensbythebay #gbtb #marinabay #plantlover #flowerlover
Heading to gardens by the bay, don't forget to drop by the kingfisher lake located at 12 Marina Gardens Drive where you will be able to spot loads of different coloured dragonflies and possibly some kingfisher too! This is popular among bird watchers especially on the weekends .
This part of gardens by the bay is rather quiet as it's located away from the flower dome, but you will be able to enjoy the quietness and the surrounding filled with plants like the lotuses and the many aquatic water insects.
